They started the escavation and then half way through started trying to extort more money out of me. It was at that point that I made a decision to rid them from my property and accept the loss and damages. With my house now exposed to the elements and in imminent danger of collasping. I needed to find a reputable company fast. I called Structional Engineering and Design and spoke with Michael. He came out the same day to survey the area that had been partially dug out by the scammers. Due to the urgency, Michael got me on his schedule and started the work the following week. When you are going through a devastating and life-changing time. You need a compassionate and meticulous group of individuals working for you to restore your home. You can rely on Michael for prompt assistance. Michael and his team worked from early morning into the nighttime hours completing the escavation and underpinning. It was a big job and a lot of hard work. All of the guys were professional, hardworking and did a wonderful job restoring my deck after the escavation. Michael kept me informed and explained each step to me. From begin to end the Michael and his guys were simply top notch. From the start with Michael's honesty, fairness and transparency was a level above everyone else I'll had dealt with. The only thing better than the quality of his work is Michael's character. This company's customer service skills and communication are horrid. I had no problem scheduling an…read moreappointment for someone to come out and sell me on their business but they day the work was supposed to be done, I had to call the company 5 times for ETA checks on their technicians. They were supposed to arrive between 9-9:30am and didn't arrive until 1:15pm. Each time I called inquiring about the tech's ETA, I was told by the receptionist that they would check and call me "right back" and they never did. The 5th time the receptionist said the supervisor of the techs said they were dispatched to my location early that morning, but he doesn't know where they are or why they didn't show up. The receptionist called back later to say the techs should arrive by 12pm but they didn't arrive until 1:15pm. When the techs arrived, I found out that their supervisor told them to do a job prior to coming to my location. Del Val did not notify me of any of this the 5 times I called asking about the ETA; they went as far as to say "I hope they (techs) weren't in an accident". When the work was complete and I paid in full, I was supposed to receive a lifetime warranty on the work they did; that was 7/9/24, today is 7/16/24 and I still haven't received the warranty. Today was my 4th time calling to inquire about the warranty and just like my inquires about the tech's ETA, I haven't gotten any honest reply. They keep pacifying me by saying they will send it or I should have received it already. If I had known this company would be this unprofessional and dismissive, I would have never done business with them. Beware of who you do business with.
