I recently made the mistake of brining my beater in for window tints which again required multiple returns to fix their work. They even left a huge LED lamp in my car and laminated a huge piece of lint between the tint film and window. If they missed a giant LED lamp in my car, imagine what else they missed! I had plans to do dash cams and remote starts on all my vehicles before winter but ABC Automative just isn't worth the time, energy, or frustration. Initially I had some speakers installed in my whip, then an amp, then a subwoofer. The crux of the issue was the technical abilities and quality of work from "the Guy" who does the car stereo work/installation - Robbie. I had to go back for consistent re-work, things were not operating as they should, the stereo would turn off when I turned the vehicle off (not consistent with factory settings), the amp was not hooked up correctly, it was overall poor quality work. And after my third visit, and spending 3G's Robbie wouldn't even talk to me or explain what he did, they just handed the keys over and gave me the bill, and the job was still not correct. This, coupled with broken promises from the old man with glasses who promised me he'd knock a hundred dollars off my bill - and he never did. He overcharged me. And furthermore; he tells really bad jokes. I ended up going to "Soundz Plus" in Naperville to correct all of this dumps eff ups, and the professionalism and quality of work compared to Mobile Electronics puts them to shame. If you are serious about having a quality job done in the arena of car stereos I would highly suggest not wasting your money (which I did) here, and go to Soundz Plus in Naperville. His garage and demeanor may seem unassuming, but Justin was as professional with the install of my dual dash cam as any business owner could be. While wanting to get a 12" sub installed, Justin noticed my oem battery was extremely old and also not pulling the right ample about of voltage. What does he do? Ordered me a replacement battery and installed it as well. This is the middle of winter, and boy was I glad he caught this for me. Talk about exceptional integrity. Moving onto the sub install - my car is a pain in the ass to install audio work in. Both Justin and I did not foresee this happening, however Justin took his time and made sure it was done and done right. After all was said and done, let me tell you - taking the long drive I do to come here, is worth it every single time. Time to come back with my bike in the spring.
