Had a leak and my home warranty company assigned the task to VJ Plumbing. They came out immediately but misdiagnosed the source of the leak. They said they were 70% sure the leak was caused by the toilet. 30% by bathtub. Warranty company did not approve the estimate somewhere around 750 so I hired another plumber to reseal the toilet at a lower cost. Come to find out, it wasn't the toilet. I was still charged the service fee for coming out by VJ Plumbing. I don't mind paying the service fee but I do mind when it is misdiagnosed and costs me unnecessary expenses. Water damage company came out and confirmed it was the bathtub when they opened up the ceiling. I think VJ is a nice guy but paying for a misdiagnosis just rubs me the wrong way. read more

Working with this company was a simple and efficient experience. We were kept in the loop the entire time and the repair was completed before we expected. Our tub faucet was quite old and they found the replacement anyway. Victor was polite, patient, and explained everything about what he was doing in detail (I'm kind of nosey, but he cheerfully put up with me). Honestly, I couldn't have asked for better service. I don't know about you, but when a home warranty company says they're sending a plumber, electrician, installer--I hold my nose until they prove they're not ill-informed bottom-feeders. And there have been many. But if you've landed on VJ, feel free to unclasp your nose. VJ is great, we had a running shower issue. Our home warranty vendor quoted $1300 for a fixture replacement and wall tear down . I called VJ and he responded right away, came to the house the next day, checked the issue and replaced the valve. Afterwards he checked our water pressure and spent his own time to adjust it. If there's a negative rating, that's where VJ plumbing would be. A company that asks to pay in advance is a scam artist. If your home warranty insurance sends VJ plumbing to do a service call, get someone else. Vrej knows how to manipulate the system. I had a slow draining sink in my kitchen. He turned the water on for about 10 seconds and mumbles something "yeah sink is clogged". Tells me he needs to collect the service call fee of $65 then he'll contact my home warranty insurance to get approval . Ok, I figured he'll snake the drain from the clean out and then it's good to go. I've had this done before and there were no issues. Vrej goes to his van and comes back after 20 minutes only to tell me that the work is denied. What?????!!! All he had to do was snake my drain from the clean out. And that was denied! It's because Vrej knew that if he used the word "grease" as the reason for the clog , home warranty will deny the claim. Vrej didn't do shit! How would he know the clog is due to grease. It could be anything. I certainly don't pour oil down the kitchen sink and I leave very little food particles to almost none. Vrej purposely made sure the claim would be denied so he can swoop in and get the business for himself . Thinking I'd be stupid enough to agree. He quoted me almost $400 to snake my drain and he had the audacity to say he will apply the $65 he scammed out of me AND I have to pay in advance. Hahahahha. What a scam artist!!! Nice try asking someone to pay for a job in advance. Please beware, do not use VJ plumbing if sent by your home warranty insurance. Vrej will make sure your claim will be denied so he can scam you! read more

I give this company 10 stars if there was an option to do so. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received, with honesty and care. VJ came to service my tankless water heater. He took the time to explain what he was going to do as well as provide a timeline. Afterward, I mentioned I had issues with the shower not getting hot unless the sink's hot water faucet was turned on. VJ took the extra time to fix the issue, explained the reason, and showed me how to maintain the sediment build-up, a simple fix that will save me in the future. This is the 1st time I've had a plumber go the extra mile to be helpful without the $$$ that previous plumbers have charged. I applaud this company one that you can trust.
