I've had ADT for years but for what my needs are now, ADT couldn't deliver and that what prompted me to shop around. When Jodi came to my home and did the walk through, she was knowledgeable in what equipment I would need. Come to find out she worked with JB for over 30 years! So she knew the inside and outs of security. Within a day, she sent me a quote and info video of the panel that will be installed. Day of installation, Willy was my technician and he was very friendly and respectful of my home and space. He set up his work area nicely with all his tools and equipment and walked me through what he will be doing. During our small talks, he mentioned he worked for JB for 20 years! That speaks volumes when you have long lasting employees. It tells me they take care of their employees and in turn they will take care of their customers. Everything was sent of nicely and after installation, Willy assisted me in getting me the App up and running on my phone. He walked me through all the sensors and panels. So far it's been working like it should. No issues. I'm able to disarm and arm my system whenever and wherever I am. I get to look at my front door camera without any issues connecting to it. John's Brother has been a good security company so far, hopefully they will stay at high star for me after the bill comes in LOLOLOL!!

We have had nothing but problems with our Vector Security system since we had it installed in our…read morenew home. We thought the system in our previous house had been canceled but we continued to receive alarms for several weeks. When that was finally resolved we had problems with the display panel in the new house and were told it needed a new backup battery even though it had just been installed and since it was past 60 days we would have to pay a service fee. Then the problems with the medic alert pendant started. We received the first call on Oct 31st while my husband was in the hospital after a minor stroke and the pendant was at home on his nightstand. Apparently it needed a new battery also even though we were again assured that such failures were very unusual. We were told the earliest a repair tech could be scheduled was November 21st -- 3 weeks later. Because of the repeated problems and shortage of technicians we have asked to cancel the account but Vector refuses because we are trapped in a 3 year contract.

If your equipment is malfunctioning and they come out right away it's gonna be about $400 however, if you have a service plan and come out when your appointment is it's only $35. So if you get this equipment and you ever have an emergency, example, your alarm is going off at all times of the night and day, even when it's bypassed, even when you don't have the security armed, you're out of luck. I do not recommend this company at all. It's all about the money for them.
