I'm in disbelief…read more... I have a pre-drilled 75 Gal aquarium tank and was in a bit of a bind with my API Filstar XP canister filter which had a bad impeller and the water flow was poor. While looking for a replacement part, I found out that this filter was discontinued and replacement parts are scarce to non-existent.  I purchased a Fluval Canister filter but found out that it was not compatible with the existing plumbing.  Facing the propects of having to do a replumb, and not knowing where to start, and what parts I would need, I decided to google search for companies that could perform this service.   I called MK Aquarium and Kevin answered.  He took the time to understand my issue.  What I really appreciated about Kevin is that he decided that I could save money by doing the work myself AND he would be willing to walk me through how to do it.  Candidly, I was shocked and touched by this act of kindness from a business owner. Kevin was on the phone with me, answered all my messages and I was able to get it done.  My tank is up and running with no issues so far. I used to have problems with fish getting sick every so often, but since I have had John service my tank, I have yet to lose a fish due to an illness. I did have one fish start to get fin rot once but once I let John know, he scheduled a visit to do a significant water change and tested the water. A week later and the fish was all better (which rarely happens from my experience!) John sincerely cares about what he does and will always go the extra mile. Honestly its like friend coming over to help out when I see him. He has a high level of integrity and always does what he says.
