The majority of Italian restaurants are located in a different colonia outside of Centro Historico. I thought that the service was fairly adequate, and it was pretty tylical from my experiences in the city. I ordered the simple spaghetti bolognesa which is one of my trusted Italiam dishes. This did take a little time for them to orelare, and the reataurant wasn't that busy, but when they did bring it to my table, I was more than dying of hunger. I thought it tasted pretty good, however the bolognesa sauce was somewhat watery. Still the sauce was exceptional in my opinion. Everything else about the reataurant was great and the inside was modern and clean.

It must be an Italian thing because this restaurant has it. We were seated at one of the two sidewalk tables, and proceeded to order the regular bolognesa pizza. The menu indicated that it included their special tomato sauce, cheese, bolognesa sauce,,and onions. To me that sounded like a great combination. The pizza pie only came in one size and it was quite large for the two of us. It was loaded with all of the extra sauce and greasy cheese that one would expect from a pizza ordered in New York. Here in Mexico City, it is really quite rare to get this much sauce and cheese in a pizza. I've seen so many Mexicans add ketchup to their pizza because it usually lacks those essential ingredients. This pizza restaurant must have gotten the recipe from New York necaise it really was that good. There were at least five employees working here when we came, and it felt like we got special attention, probably because it seemed very slow. There were no other customers besides us. The am ia ce was pretty normal for a pizzeria, nothing too fancy or too plain old school.
