I am a frequent customer and have been coming for almost three years now. Today I got the steak bites regular bowl. It's always plenty and even a nice leftover for later. You have to try it! I really like their teppanyaki bowl, too! They have many different options to choose from- tacos, bowls, pozole, kids menu, and more! The restaurant is always clean and the customer service is always great with smiles.

Pretty cool little spot for a healthy bowl! I got the spicy Mexcellent bowl and it was indeed SPICY! Fresh high quality ingredients and tons of protein. Rice, beans, pico, avocado, charred corn, that bowl was loaded! So many different menu items too that I need to go back and try. Service was great as well! Great stop for healthy food

Came here for the first time with some co workers. It was next door to casa corona. Plenty of parking. I ordered ahead online it was pretty easy process and was ready when I got there. Staff was friendly, the place was cute and the food was delicious. I ordered the SPICY BUDDHA BOWL, they had the 2 spicy sauce on the side which I appreciated. And they really packed up the bowl. It was definitely a lot for me. I have leftovers :)

Maria has treated me and anyone I've taken here like family. My ex partner and I would frequent here and always enjoy our custom bowls. They have an array of options From tacos, bowls, pazole, and much more! My mother and I came by for a visit and have had a great time getting to know their friendly staff and how VIVA! Came to life. Will always refer a friend here that's looking to get a bang for their buck because you will leave with left overs! Think a more authentic Mexican food & small scale chipotle (except no skimping to be found) I recently tried one of their protein bowls as a gym girlie, and I'd say it really packs a punch. Always a great experience here. So happy they've extended their hours til 8. Well worth it for a healthy fast option. Plenty of space to sit, and stay awhile.

Vegetarian Bowl

From Southern California, and stumbled upon this amazing place. Everyone here is welcoming and you can tell they are passionate about the food they serve. Vegan and Vegetarian and they were so accommodating. Made my own Vegan Bowl and Wife had the Vegetarian Bowl. First the servings are HUGE. Had half a bowl as leftovers. But the flavors of the sauces were so good and fresh. Definitely recommend everyone come here.

Who would've thought that you can find some amazingly tasty and healthy protein bowls in Fresno? Truth be told, this is a major agriculture city with fresh fruits and vegetables that are growing in all of the surrounding areas. This gave me the opportunity to check out "Viva! Be Bowl'd". Located in a large outdoor strip mall and at the intersection of N. Cedar Blvd. and Herndon Ave., this place has been serving up some delicious bowls dating back to late-2019. Since I was passing through town (from Sacramento to Los Angeles), I figure why not fill myself up with a hearty and filling bowl with a nice healthy protein bowl to get me through the evening. I arrived here during the evening of Friday 10/11/2024 at around 6:20pm. Parking can be quite hectic as this area accommodates many different eateries and businesses. I do want to point out that this place is ONLY opened during the week; Monday through Friday from 10:30am-7pm while being closed on weekends. Upon entering, the interior layout is quite spacious as it has a somewhat rectangular shaped setup complete with wooden tables, pub-styled chairs, and laminated brick flooring. You will also see two digital menu boards that display all of the customizable options as well as a fancy paper menu that lists their signature bows, tacos, and salads. I wish more places like this existed as many people are watching their calories, carbs, and sodium. Therefore, I chose the "Create-Your-Own Bowl" (in a small size) priced at a very reasonable $12.99 + tax. As for my base, I went with black beans and Romaine lettuce while choosing grilled chicken for my protein. As for my five toppings, I went with avocados, cilantro, charred corn, edamame beans, and feta cheese. I added onion whisps as my crunch and finished this bowl with creamy cilantro sauce. I will say that a small size of this is very well-proportioned. As for the flavor, this absolutely hit the spot in every way possible. There was an abundance of chicken while they did not skimp on all the other toppings. This filled me up throughout the rest of the evening and until my bedtime (which was around 11:30am). All in all, "Viva! Be Bowl'd" is the real deal and a very pleasant surprise. The employees were all in a very positive and upbeat mood while the entire facility was very clean, open, and inviting. The only downfall is that they are not open on weekends but being a small, family-owned and operated business, I understand that can be a challenge. Plus props for giving their employees weekends off! Great service, delicious food, and very reasonable prices. My rating, a unanimous five stars.

It's my first time at Viva be bowl'd and I am definitely coming back. Maria was so kind. The staff was amazing. She took her time with my bowl. She made conversation. It felt like I was going home. Everything is delicious fresh well made, and everyone was very thoughtful. I will definitely be going back. I am definitely A Viva Be bowl'd fan. - Esperanza !

This place is incredi-BOWL!!! Considering Chipotle has been skimping on their protein and fillings for a lot of people, this place would never do you dirty like that. Bowls are filled to the brim and they're even better than Chipotle! I've always ordered online so I can't speak on the in-person experience. The online ordering process is super simple. Food is always ready at the estimated time! Though I've never ordered in person... when I do go in, the workers are always so friendly! Super fresh and yummy ingredients that make for great bowls! You can obviously build your own bowl but they have tons of signature bowls! As of late, I've gotten the ceviche bowl - which is great for a filling but light lunch! I've come here multiple times and would definitely come again.

been here a few times now and i can't recommend it enough! it's surrounded by other restaurants and businesses but there's never issues for me finding parking and a good spot to eat, and the service is super quick if you're looking to order and dip! my go-to is the chicken teppanyaki bowl... it's seriously just excellent. filled with tons of toppings and protein, perfectly for lunch and leftovers. i also tried their decently new acai bowls, super solid! not a huge serving but loaded with acai which is always a plus. it's become my favorite workday lunch spot when i feel like treating myself. highly recommend!

It's definitely time to update this review!…read more It's safe to say that we love this place. We have had our share of to-go dishes that haven't really delivered. After leaving some feedback through the mobile app, we haven't had any issues since then. The service is always considerate and top-notch, although I will say sometimes to-go really feels like a drive-through. Just getting you in and out. Which I can respect because they are so busy. Hopefully with the opening of their new location, everyone will go over there lol. The one thing that I will say is such a bummer, especially on the nicer evenings, is that they do not have a dog friendly patio. Even though they have a gorgeous outdoor space, we have to gravitate to places like Annesso's, Mad Duck, and other local favorites to bring our pup with us. I respect their decision, but it's just such a bummer. Absolutely in love with the cashew cauliflower, the brie and loom bread, and the salmon. Servings are plentiful enough where I can easily get another meal out of it. So happy for this place growing and even expanding with their new coffee shop location. What a treat for such a great place.

We waited for about 20 minutes and were about to leave, but a few people finally got up to leave. We were thrilled and hungry! The place has an old fashioned, classy feel to it. We were not dressed for a nice place, but no one made us feel like we were out of place and the staff was so good to us all evening. Our server, Lauren, was excellent and we received the best service I've had in a long time. We started with the Beet Salad which was refreshing, crisp and very tasty. We ordered the Lobster Mac and cheese, which is very flavorful but I wish it had more lobster on it. I ordered the prime rib, which came came with a nice, grilled sear on it. The meat was perfectly medium rare and great seasoning on it. The mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy, while the asparagus with the lemon brown butter sauce provided a good balance to the dish. My friend ordered the filet mignon, which I didn't try but he loved it. I did get to try the crab Wellington on top, which was basically a really good crab cake. For dessert, we had the key lime cheesecake which is light and fluffy. I'm not sure I get the key lime flavor so much, but it's citrusy. Also, it's delicious. Great experience here and highly recommended!

It turned out to be such an enjoyable spot to dine, and we really appreciated their effort. Our server, Olive, was absolutely fantastic! She was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Every detail of her service was handled beautifully. A big thank you to Olive for making our evening so enjoyable! As for the food, the pizza was absolutely delicious! Our steak had a wonderful smoky flavor from being cooked over an open flame, although we weren't particularly impressed with the meat itself. The salad and potatoes, however, were excellent. Unfortunately, the chocolate dessert served in a glass was disappointing. I understand the idea of balancing chocolate with salt and pistachios to create a more complex flavor profile, but this dessert was surprisingly not sweet at all. It genuinely tasted like salty chocolate, which I found unpleasant. Definitely not something we enjoyed. One other thing stood out to us from a hospitality perspective. We were seated directly across from the pizza chef and the chef working the open-fire grill, yet neither acknowledged us throughout the evening. Not even a smile, eye contact, or a simple "How's the food?" I completely understand that chefs are focused on cooking and that guest interaction isn't necessarily their responsibility. However, when you're working in an open kitchen with guests sitting right in front of you, a little acknowledgment goes a long way. What made it particularly noticeable was that they were chatting with each other throughout the evening while seemingly ignoring the guests just a few feet away. It felt rather unwelcoming, especially in an otherwise excellent hospitality environment. Overall, we loved the atmosphere, the hostesses were wonderful, Olive provided outstanding service, and most of the food was delicious. A little more guest engagement from the open-kitchen team would make the experience even better.

My wife and I had an amazing experience last night- from the appetizer to our main dishes. Everything was executed just perfectly- I wouldn't change a thing with the food. We started with the arancini, which are deep fried risotto balls with mozzarella and pesto embedded in. These little delights are a must try as they are the perfect blend of creamy , salty and crunchy. For our entrees, we ordered the Margherita pizza and rigatoni with sausage. First of all, the wood fired pizza was cooked perfectly with a nice balance of sweetness from the pizza sauce and crunch factor from the dough. The homemade rigatoni pasta was to die for with the sausage ragu working its magic including a subtle spice added throughout to give it that nice kick of flavor. Well done team Annex! As a Sicilian who grew up on the real stuff, I can tell you that this place hits every mark. 5 stars from me and I can't wait to come back! P.S This isn't fast food- expect to wait a bit. Trust me it will be worth the wait! And oh, the dining room is freezing. Bring a coat , and eat fast so your pizza doesn't get cold.
