What made it more frustrating was that the wait staff didn't seem very helpful in correcting the issues or explaining what went wrong. While we noticed the owner wasn't in that day and chalk some of this up to her absence, a restaurant still needs to run smoothly when the owner takes time off--burnout is real, and strong staff support is key. We truly don't want to hurt this business. We drive a distance to come here and still consider it one of our favorite spots. That said, $90 for two meals, one appetizer, and a side of queso and beans, with this experience, felt disappointing.
