I love the bases they offer and the fact that you can mix and match them. The dragonfruit and blue coconut were my favorites but somehow along with the matcha and açaí, every bite kept getting better and better. I'm a big fan of their BOOMCHIA pudding and highly recommend getting that as well. All the fruits and toppings were super fresh and high quality. Since then, I've hit it up again a few times already. Ordering using the app is recommended because you can customize to your heart's desire. My husband can't have whey protein, so I'll swap that out for either the vanilla or chocolate plant protein. Also, Playa Bowl has a good variety of milk alternatives - oat, almond, cashew, and coconut (I haven't come across cashew milk often). My go-to orders are a Playola Cold Brew or an Oatmeal Bowl. I like getting the oatmeal bowls because I don't eat oatmeal frequently enough to warrant buying a whole cannister of steel cut oats from the grocery store, which will then just get stale in the pantry at home. Plus I like the toppings of each of the three variants they have (there's also a fourth option of a custom oatmeal bowl). I get their cold brew when I'm in the mood for chicory coffee.

Initial thought of the place- bright and small. Not inviting people to stay with only two metal tables and 4 chairs at each table. Ice cream flavors were "meh" at most. Typical chocolate, vanilla, twist, coconut, cookies n cream, pistachio, and some pumpkin flavors for the season. Two kids "working" at the register - both on their phones with AirPods in. I wasn't sure if we served ourselves with the toppings since some of it I had to reach my hand further back to try and grab. Surprised I even needed anybody there to assist me with payment. Ice cream itself was mediocre. Frozen yogurt was whatever and not as creamy as I normally would've like it. Melted way too fast (maybe cuz it was toward the end of the night)? I wish I took a picture of everything but between two ice cream cups, coming out to $15, definitely wasn't worth the drive or the price.
