Greeted upon entrance. Friendly service. Ordered two empanadas. Cheese and beef were so good. My sons loved them. I like that they had prepackaged pink sauce. We also ordered a pernil chimi with a strawberry milkshake. The pernil was absolutely delicious. The shake was also good. The only thing is that the tables were still dirty but they did come over and clean it when we brought it to their attention. Overall a good experience. read more

So I drive by this location all the time and I finally decided to try it out with a friend. I found it cool that you can order on a computer screen but... that complicated everything! I paid with my card and got my receipt through text but my friend wanted to pay with cash so we went to the cashier and paid. She asked me what I got and I told her a chimi and she passed me a plate and I was very happy cause I got it so fast! I ate half my chimi in like 5 minutes and my friend's order still had not came out. Ten minutes passed and nothing. We ask and the lady had forgot my friend's name and order and she goes "oh we ran out of lettuce you mind just chicken and cheese on bread" he said sure. Another 10 minutes pass and no sandwich STILL! So I go ahead and finish my chimi cause it had gotten cold already and my friend still didn't get his sandwich. After 25 min of waiting he got his "sandwhich" which looked awful. Both sandwiches were not up to par at all. My chimi didn't have enough chimi sauce or meat, a lot of it was just bread. My friend's sandwich was literally 2 cold slices of yellow cheese and chicken... looked so unappetizing. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. read more

I was craving Patacón at 9 in the morning. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's kind of like a sandwich but instead of the bread, it uses flattened plantain. You can get chicken or steak. The plantain was crunchy, crispy, not too salty , with just the right amount of lettuce and tomato. They make really good pink sauce here too, make sure to top it off! I was greeted by Isaac when I entered. I sat down to eat, my table didn't seem wiped down which was kind of unsanitary considering the fact that I got there by 10:30 and they opened around 9. Amazing food. 1) This place has a large private lot. Which is rare for the area. 2) The food is excellent. I will recommend the chimi pollo. But my friend liked the patacon de carne. Tried this for lunch today, definitely not blown away by the food. I got a Cuban sandwich, it was just ok, nothing special. Fries were fine but boring. Smoothie lacked something, tasted fine but boring, I've definitely had much better from other places nearby. Finally the last thing I tried was the empanadas, first bite it had a weird fish taste to it, I don't know if they cooked it or prepared near fish but definitely got a fishy flavor, I hate fish. The meat inside had something in it, not sure but didn't bother me much, just wasn't all meat by itself. The empanada itself was a little too chewy, maybe sat out a while or needed more cooking. Would eat again in a pinch because I've had way worse but also far better, probably won't be back. read more

Food was okay. Service was terrible. The staff was not attentive at all. I walked in for an order of a juice and a few empanadas. Apparently the empanadas are already made - depending on the type , sitting in a warmer waiting for purchase. I waited 20 mins before anyone realized that I hadn't received my food. Shortly after I placed my order , a few men walked in and got empanadas with no issues. So I'm trying to figure out why I had to wait so long and they got the same thing I did ? I've been to this location probably three times , yesterday I thought I give it another try I ordered a green juice and every time I've placed an order the cashier who has assisted me also makes the juice , the problem is that I have had to ask them to please wash there hands and I still feel uncomfortable,I shouldn't have to ask them to wash there hands.they should put gloves on when handling food especially when juicing raw fruits or vegetables. This was the worst smoothie I've ever had. I ordered a 'meal replacement' smoothie which had Kale, Peanut Butter, Almond Milk, Protein and Oats. After waiting 20 minutes (and it was not crowded), my 'smoothie' was horrible. It had bits of Kale in the smoothie as if they barely blended the smoothie. They also added ice, it was more like a juice. Horrible, would not go back. I cannot even tolerate to drink the rest of the smoothie because small pieces of Kale get stuck in my teeth with every sip! read more

I really love the food at this location. I have issues with the employees. the only time I feel comfortable and welcomed, is when gricel takes my order. she always has a great attitude and is willing to go the extra mile to help me. but, whenever she isn't there, the employees discriminate against me because I don't speak Spanish, specifically madelin, she always has a VERY NASTY ATTITUDE and if its past 9:30, they never want to make any juices with oranges in it. just because I don't speak Spanish or if its 9:30-close they should service you the same as if you were there first thing in the afternoon. For the food, the prices and especially the smoothies you'll have a hard time finding something as good as Tropical Juice Bar in the area. I always get a smoothie, which they allow you to "make your own" off a menu of dozens of healthy ingredients- fresh fruits & vegetables along with other options. If you prefer they also have a list of their own creations you can order from. As for the food, they certainly have more healthy options than most places but you will also find the standard unhealthy options too i.e. fried food. My husband and I will usually get either a sandwich or some empanadas to share. They advertise that they have an option for ordering online but I've never used the service before.
