Came here with my boyfriend and son to get something quick to eat. We had the curry patties and beef patties . The beef patty was spicier than I thought it would be but it was not like omg I need water but there's def a kick to it. Overall it was good . On our next visit I'll try their other food options. The grossest most unappetizing tasteless food ever. Ordered jerk chicken with rice & beans. The chicken was chopped up into pieces (not complete wings, breasts or legs) & literally had zero flavor. I doubt the dinner was cooked with any jerk sauce/seasoning. Even though I told the cashier I wanted jerk sauce on the rice, once I got home & opened the container the rice & chicken was DRY & SAUCE-LESS. Zero sauce on the rice. Would NEVER recommend & would NEVER buy dinners from this place again. Save your time money & gas & go elsewhere! read more

As a vegan I am so happy to have found a place to enjoy Jamaican/Caribbean food. They normally have two Main vegan dishes available. I have had the jerk lentils and the Lima beans. They both come with two sides. They are absolutely amazing!Fresh, flavorful, and great portions. The Lima bean dish is my absolute favorite. Attached I have a picture of the vegan protein soup, which is amazing. I also have a picture of the BBQ cauliflower, which is the first time I have seen it on the menu. I hope not the last because it was unbelievably good! Their BBQ sauce is insane. I will also like to add I only ever order door dash, so I have never been there, but have spoken to someone on the phone. They were extremely kind and let me know if I call ahead of ordering on doordash they will have the food ready for the driver. read more

Hands down the BEST beef stew and curry chicken ever. Food is made fresh daily...I know this because I wanted the oxtail and jerk chicken they were still Cooking! Beef Pattie's were flaky, fresh and sooooooo good. Definitely coming back! Place is super clean but very small. There are some tables and I counted 6 chairs. Owners are very nice and friendly. Chef Hillary provided an amazing assortment of fresh and delicious food to serve about 30 people--all of our guests absolutely loved it! Hillary was very accommodating and worked with us to create a menu that would cater to our guests--everything from jerk chicken and jerk ribs, stew chicken, curried goat--to vegetarian mains like curried lima beans and jerk chickpeas, and lots of yummy sides--mac n cheese, yams, cabbage, rice n peas. Driving home from work I realized I didn't eat all day. So on my way home I passed this spot did a quick review check on Yelp and decided to give it a try!! YUMMY first of all I got Mac an cheese and rice w/peas& cabbage with my jerk chicken and I asked for extra curry gravy on my rice and she did exactly that !!! This is a small restaurant with seating for 5-6 people at best but the food is out of this world. Growing up in MD in a diverse place I've tried many jerk chickens and oxtail but this place is the best I've ever had and I couldn't be happier that it's so close to home. We've been here in the last few days twice now cause we kept thinking of it. Day 1 we tried the stewed beef and curry chicken and I'm not even a fan of curry and it was delicious. Day 2 we had the oxtail and Jerk chicken (pictured) and both exceeded expectations with just the right amount of spice and were just cooked to perfection. The max and cheese was on point and the homemade Jamaican beef patties made by a chef trained in Jamaica (per the chef/owner) were so good we ordered more to go to take home to the kids. Definitely this place goes to the top of my favorite hidden gems. read more

Wow was I lucky and honored to decide to go to this lovely gem! Was craving some Jamaican/Caribbean food!! The amazing ima say Grandma who served me some of the greatest soup I've ever eaten. Don't eat soup u guys so this was definitely top notch. Lol. Got the jerk chicken/ curry goat and beef stew!! Everything was absolutely delicious!! The place is really small, but don't let this intimidate you, the food is really good, you can get a lunch special for $5. If you eat in don't expect a China plate fork and knife, you get a paper plate and a fork and two napkins. Service.... there's no service you get a guy behind the counter and he will call you when your food is ready. There's also no menu, whatever is in the wall that's what they have. The place is clean which is A+ fora small restaurant. Parking is on the street and usually there's always a place to park. Had this place yesterday And it was delicious. What a hidden gem!!! My friends and I ordered the goat curry, oxtail, and fried fish platters and it was amazing. Very flavorful and huge portions. Hands down the best Jamaican food I have ever had! I have been to several Caribbean restaurants in the Jersey area and in Caribbean neighborhoods and this is the best I have ever had. I had a small order catered, I placed the order at 12:30pm and they had FRESH COOKED food ready for me by 4pm. The chef even hand delivered the goat that required more time to cook. "OMG! Mis patcy," they had to threw me out of the restaurant. I sat there the entire day and tried everything that they had to offered. From the famous Jamaican ackee & saltfish with fried dumplings. The Jamaican rice&peas and fried chicken. Even some other Jamaican dishes that I didn't even knew that existed. The stew beef, and you know that I don't like stew beef already. "Maan" I ate it twice in a row... the taste was out of this world!!! I had to asked them if they had shipped the foods from Kingston Jamaica.
