After watching the owner try to sleep with nearly every girl in his demographic and receiving and hearing uncomfortable and inappropriate comments from coaches, I decided to quit. I had been warned by other friends to be very aware of my bank accounts when doing this because the owner was supposedly notorious for still charging people after they left. I had to message the owner 3 times in one week before even getting a response telling me he would cancel my membership, and then still got charged that next month. I called him and he immediately apologized and refunded me, but the same thing happened the next month.

Everyone that goes there is awesome and encouraging. With some other boxes around here, you're met with an elitist attitude. I won't go so far as to name names, but some of the people that go here travel from the Palmyra area because of the elitists from the other box. The facility is large and clean....don't be fooled by the exterior. The class sizes are kept to smaller groups, so you get more attention. If you can't do the WOD because of some injury or you just can't do some of the exercises, they will accommodate with alternatives. The price is really great compared to other CF boxes...starting at $10 a session. Granted, it isn't "globo-gym" priced, but you basically get a personal trainer working with you on every session. I have several friends that signed up for the YMCA when they were doing discounts for family memberships and they have gone a handful of times. So that $200 unlimited membership is probably going to cost them more in the long run and I guarantee they aren't getting a workout like we do. CrossFit itself is just amazing. You work hard, there's no doubt...it's not for everyone. I've been going here since it's grand opening last year and have seen some serious gains. I started out barely being able to do 20 consecutive squats and not a single pull-up to now deadlifting 255lbs and 10 consecutive strict pull-ups. I didn't really intend to lose any weight but I've dropped 2 waists sizes and have gained quite a bit of tone and muscle definition. Downsides? I had to buy a lot of new clothes. It's addicting so I find myself going to a WOD instead of mowing the lawn. You risk becoming a CrossFit Cult member.

If you try the spin/barre class you also get to have a full body workout. Instructors are friendly and do not intimidate Brooke offers an early morning workout that is a great start for the day. So i decided to join her one day as her plus one. First off, know that you have to drive all the way to the back of the plaza to find it. But there's plenty of parking. The studio is run by two nice trainers: Sally and Jordan. They are very open and all about helping you. They tell you their story and listen to yours. It's all about setting goals and appreciating the little accomplishments. First thing when you walk in is that it's one big room. Not little alcoves here and there. Just a huge mat for you to get sweaty on. I did notice there's not one mirror- which is quite interesting. There is complementary child care and very nice locker rooms. They are like to do one on one meetings to check in with you every other week. Their hours are a bit wonky so check the class schedule each week before coming in. But what I like most about this place is that if you can't do a conventional push up, they find another way to get your body to work the same muscles. My advice? Come try it out!

If you are like me and don't enjoy traditional gyms, with hoards of people and overwhelming looking equipment, this is for you. This gym offers classes that range from fast paced HIIT that include strength training, TRX and plyometrics mixed in with cardio as well as low impact classes such as Barre and yoga. I am pretty sure they have other classes that I have yet to try! Overall, for me, I find that a workout out in a group setting is better. I have taken a few different classes so far and all were great! The times are very convenient and typically they have a class almost every, hour at least in the early morning (which is most convenient for me). Some are ran concurrently in the two rooms that the gym has. The space is large, bright and clean. They have bathroom (obviously!) and even a shower, which I do not use so cannot speak to it. Your do have to remember to sign up for the classes, can't just show up. The sign up is easy through the MINDBODY app that I've used previously for other studios in the area. It's synced with my personal calendar so no excuses for missing a class. At the moment, the classes don't have too many people in them but I imagine that changing in the near future. I guess then it will be on the first come first serve basis through the app. I will definitely update my review after trying more of the classes they offer but so far I would recommend.

Confused, I inquire about the fact that this is a 24-hour location and if this is true why would there big a huge sign out front that says "24-hours" and why does it claim to be 24-hours online.
