I called ahead of time to schedule an appointment, and was able to snag a 9:30 a.m. slot for the next day. I will say that finding the right phone number to call took some digging - I started with the number listed on Apple Maps, but was stuck on hold for a long time with what I'm assuming was the national SSA line. Then - I pulled up their Yelp page, found a different number listed, and was connected to this local office within seconds. If you're reading this review - the correct number is (866) 504-4224. Another note - this office requires masks. They do have disposable ones available near the door if you forgot one at home. Making an appointment is definitely the move. When I arrived, there were around a dozen other parties waiting in the lobby - but after signing in, my name was called just a few minutes later. From then on, I was served quickly and sent on my way. The woman assisting me was friendly and efficient. I spent less than 20 minutes at this office in total ... which is totally unheard of when it comes to government services.

This location is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was getting my federal compliant ID and had heard stories of people having to make multiple trips. I checked online ahead of time and was pretty sure I had what I needed. I was greeted at the door by a friendly gentleman who confirmed I had checked in online properly and my space in line was reserved. I filled out a form and waited just a couple minutes for my number to be called. The person at the counter was friendly and helped me with my ID and two license plate renewals, with some nice conversation while she completed the registrations. All in, less than 15 minutes later, everything was done in a quick, professional way and I was on my way! Hard to believe you can enjoy an experience at the BMV but it's true! That person said, "I can see the number you have," told me what it was, and told me that that the website would be fixed within six weeks so I could track them myself. Six weeks later, it wasn't fixed. I went back to the Social Security office AGAIN and waited for hours AGAIN. This time, another person told me that the website would definitely be fixed within two weeks. Well, another two weeks have passed, and guess what? The website still shows I had zero points, which is just plain wrong. Three months later? Still not fixed. Why can't they just make their website work properly? I've already been there nine times and wasted countless hours while they do absolutely nothing to help. To make matters worse, during a phone appointment, a "Ms. Johnson" insulted me. I wrote a complaint to Social Security. I received no acknowledgement and no apology. They did nothing about it, just like they've done nothing to solve my problem. My boys have been physically abused, sexually harassed, discriminated, neglected, mistreated, bullied, and down sized by grown ass people in them group homes. The thing I dont get is I have proof (pics, audio, video, witnesses) and no one will do anything about it. Everyone in the government ignores it because it is CPS. They do not try to help families they destroy them, tear strong families apart, get paid for each child ripped from homes, and they are not to trust. Get a paid attorney as soon as they knock on your door. Do not trust the lawyers, CPS, GAL, nor the judge or magistrate. No one will help you, but you can sue for wrongful removal, sue cps, the county, the state, and everyone involved (ALL the wrong doers) individually and the group homes or facilities they are in.
