You placed your documents into a plastic garbage can and then they loaded that into a truck. There were a bunch of things that you couldn't place into the truck like batteries. I was asked not to add red welds which makes sense because they are thick. I saw a man try to put some weird wet documents into the bin and he was asked to remove them because they could possibly cake up the shredding apparatus. Despite all of this, the representative from the company patiently assisted everyone with an upbeat spirit. My neighbors love that event and are very thankful for it. They love it so much. They always put it on my calendar. It is a great community service and the gentleman from USA Shred was patient, courteous and very helpful. If you are considering a public-facing shredding event or need to shred significant amounts of documents, this place is a good option!

They said they needed to reschedule because they do Brooklyn on different days. We rescheduled. Again, I had to call them to confirm and find out what time they would be there the next day. That day, their truck broke down. I did not get another call to reschedule but someone showed up unannounced the following day. I thought they should give me a discount on their services but they refused. No apologies offered. They do not know how to run a business.
