You placed your documents into a plastic garbage can and then they loaded that into a truck. There were a bunch of things that you couldn't place into the truck like batteries. I was asked not to add red welds which makes sense because they are thick. I saw a man try to put some weird wet documents into the bin and he was asked to remove them because they could possibly cake up the shredding apparatus. Despite all of this, the representative from the company patiently assisted everyone with an upbeat spirit. My neighbors love that event and are very thankful for it. They love it so much. They always put it on my calendar. It is a great community service and the gentleman from USA Shred was patient, courteous and very helpful. If you are considering a public-facing shredding event or need to shred significant amounts of documents, this place is a good option!

I called and was told those were old promos and they weren't valid -- that they weren't currently offering any specials. They asked if I saw it on their site, so I sent them the link to the site with the 3 promotions (that IS still active as I type this complaint). The person that helped me (Sarah) said she didn't see it. So I screenshot my process and sent it to her via email. No response after that. Then I called and left messages - no response. I called today and was told "yeah, I'm not authorized to honor that price" so I asked if she could put me intouch with someone that could because it was FALSE ADVERTISING. I was put on hold, and then told she spoke with her manager and wouldn't be able to honor that price .. 'sorry.' I said, but the link is still active, shouldn't you deactivate it? I wasn't given a straight answer and told they would look into it. It's been a week, nothing. The link is still active WITH the advertising they are not honoring.
