Would give half a star. They consistently have to look for our cleaning. But the last visit they lost a blouse. Gave me 6 shirts and promised to call when they located the blouse. They never did this. I went back and counter person called the "other location" Lake Pleasant Cleaners"` Promised to look in unclaimed clothing for the blouse even though we tried to claim it. Tried again a week later and counter person gave me the managers number who is in the "other location". Called Gayle on her cell left a voice message and asked for a call back. No response. It is as I suspected. they are dodging responsibility. I will be doing business elsewhere because this operation can't survive much longer with this service. If you have never been there...don't go. Every time I give them another chance, I regret it. I've become increasingly frustrated with this place. They closed early on me once. I had an early morning flight that I had to reschedule because they'd decided to close nearly two hours early the day prior, on a Wed. No sign, no notice. Just now, I wanted to drop off a comforter. NOPE, can't do that. They don't take em anymore. Another time, I came in to drop off my normal suit pants and the lady wouldn't stop talking politics. Nothing like going to pick up my dry cleaning at 4:30 in the afternoon only to see a note on the door that they are closed for 15 minutes as the employee went to get lunch! This is most likely their busiest time of day as people on their way home from work need to pick up their dry cleaning. This is at least second time this has happened in the last couple weeks. The employee turnover is constant. The store owners must not treat their employees well. We consistently spend over $1200 a year at this store. I do not like to complain about another business. I am writing this because it was such a terrible experience, and we have enough stress in this world to live in. We had my Husbands's suits taken to this cleaner. We went there before and had no issue suits turn out fine. This last visit however was very stressful. The suits he brought in were very expensive suits. He went there 5 times and the first time they were closed. The 2nd time they stated that they had only done the jackets. Then he went back, and the person stated he lost the suits. Now we are really stressed out. He called and they found the suits upon picking them up they didn't charge him, but all the stains were there, and they had pressed them into the suit. Dropped off two bedspreads and was told they would be returned in a week. Waited 10 days before going in to pick up- didn't know where they were. The clerk was not helpful, did not look for them, and said they were probably at the other location. No offer to call over and check. SO.... we went over to the other location- they stated they didn't have them either. Told us the "manager" who is only works 8-11 (what?) would call. No call, from manager- took pillows to show both locations thee fabric we were looking for. Still no one has them. 7:30 am next morning, I get a call stating they had found the bedspreads and we could pick them up Friday morning, and they would not do business with us again. Seriously? WOW! You're correct. I WON'T BE DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU! No apology no nothing. Not any customer service. Rude, abrupt. Catch a clue- kindness and taking responsibility for losing our stuff should have been your response. Perhaps some retraining is in order. read more

We dropped a comforter off at this location about two weeks ago. They told us it would take 8-14 days to be competed. Not the end of the world, but seemed a little long. Well 10 days goes by and my girlfriend calls to check. They say it's there waiting for us. No call whatsoever to let us know it's finished. If they gave us a set date to pick up I would understand, but when you give us a week window I would expect a courtesy call when it's ready. Again, not the end of the world though. We get home and lay the comforter on the bed and I swear on everything the comforter was not cleaned. There was still dog hair on it and every little stain was still there. It's a very light colored comforter so everything is visible. Even if they did dry clean it, a typical business would at least quality control their work and realize it was poorly cleaned. At the end of the day we'll take the blame for not reading all the terrible reviews, it's just unfortunate cause I like supporting small business and it's so close. read more

The woman charged me wrong on numerous items and proceeded to argue with me telling me that my maternity tank was a dress when it was no where even remotely close to the length of a maxi dress I dropped off with it. SHADY SHADY BUSINESS PR If I could give this establishment a 0 star I would. I recently purchased a suit and wore it one time. I took the suit in to be dry cleaned and to my surprise the suit came back with damage on the crease. It was burnt. After weeks of tracking the owner down (Gail) who I was told knows I'm trying to get a hold of her and if I'm to talk to her it's MY responsibility to come to her, I was finally able to get her. I mentioned to her that I wore these pants once and received them back in this burnt condition. She went on to blame the perma crease and after a bit of back and forth agreed to refund me a 100 for my pants. I mentioned I am trying to be reasonable, and I will take my pants and the 100 and be on my way. She then said that the 100 would be them purchasing the pants and I don't get them back. What?! They're MY pants?! I paid for them. You're paying me for the damage. She still has my pants and won't give them back unless I agree to a 100 credit to the store. With all due respect Gail... I wouldn't do business with you for free at this point. You have a blatant disregard for customer service. Your dry cleaning has been very wrinkled and bad quality from the very beginning. I won't do business here EVER. I want my pants and I want my issue resolved. If you are going to keep the pants then I will bring the entire suit and the receipt for the entire amount. I will be willing to discuss a cost for me wearing it once and you can buy the WHOLE suit. I await your response. Horrible Experience, I brought my garments 3 days before a very important trip, spoke to the staff which said dry cleaning would be ready Thursday morning (my trip was out of state Thursday night) I show up Thursday before noon to pick up and it closed, i figured it would be maybe for lunch, i returned two hours later and there's a paper on the door stating they would be closed for the day due to lack of staff! Review this business before leaving your clothing, especially if it is expensive. The owner and manager do not CARE about your items; it is just a money-making business regardless of the service. If you want to spend your money on bad service, have your clothes ruined, and give money for that, GO AHEAD and do it!! This kind of place should be closed by some regulatory entity. The reviews you see are genuine; the products this place uses are not the right ones; when they ruin your clothes, they do not take responsibility; the revolving employees they have are rude and have no answers or customer service skills to take care of your items. My expensive silk blouse was ruined with white spots; when asked about it, no one responded, and no one was available to answer in TWO WEEKS! It is amazing how I see customers leave their clothes and keep this business making money by ruining customers' clothes, and they CARE Nothing, do Nothing about it. I've used Vista a handful of times for dry cleaning and every time I did they did an excellent job cleaning the garments. They even saved some satin pants that had cat pee, which I thought were ruined. They have some helpful employees who are really great as well. I've recommended them to my neighbors and friends from my experience. So when I brought my daughters wedding gown in after a beach wedding I trusted they'd do a great job of taking care of it. What happened thou has tainted my feelings toward Vista and I will never use them again. After the dress was cleaned they offered a boxing service to preserve and present the gown. We agreed and the cost was 175$ when we came back to get the dress it was a mess. It was shoved down toward the bottom of box, tule skirt was tangled up by the bodice and snagged in the beads, beads were hanging off the bodice and it was a disaster. After talking to an employee they were gracious and offered to make it right in which they took it back to be redone. Apparently the owners daughter is in charge of this service and when we came back in to retrieve it she was nasty, bitter and angry and had spiteful things to say. The dress was not fixed in any way, beads were missing even more, it was pulled and stretched and slightly damaged! I next complained to the owner and other employees themselves and the owner sent me home with my dress and box and apologized and told me to pick up a refund the next day. Next day came and went and an employee called to say to pick up the refund after the weekend. After the weekend we came to pick up the refund and the owners daughter was there again in all her angry glory and basically said she convinced her father to not refund us the money and said some really off the wall things that didn't add up with what her employees had communicated to us when selling the preservation service. Bottom line is they sold something they don't specialize or know anything about, made a mess of it and then used bullying and sarcasm to get out of fixing their mistake. I gave Vista 2 stars rather than 1 because there are some great things about this cleaner, but that daughter may just run her poor fathers business into the ground with service like that. We use both their locations, this one and the one on lake pleasant parkway and happy valley. As for dry cleaners the one on happy valley is their site they do the dry cleaning, other then forgetting to fold we have had no issues. But their customer service in the last 6 months had dropped from great to let's find a new location. But I need to address the alteration they do at this site. We need a place and our dry cleaners on happy valley indicated they had one, I said are they good, and they said well the work is good but you never know what your going to pay. Then they said and don't make her mad. We found this to be true enough that we are seeking a new location. We were on our 6th shirt to be altered, after she did the alteration she gave the price and she said it is 30 a shirt. What happened to 25 she said owner indicated that he was raising the prices on all items. Then I said I believe we paid for this, the lady said your a liar it isn't our policy, well because we use the other location at least once a week I looked and we had two charges, without seeing the details I didn't knew if we had paid her in advance or not. So I got a different card from what my husband used and said we have three charges so if I see it is a duplicate I will just charge it back. She became so rude then didn't want me to take the shirts. She couldn't produce a copy of the pick up detail that she said showed what we owed. So I called the dry cleaners and they said she sets her own prices not the owner. When I asked if I could get the owner info they would not give it to me, they said he doesn't have anything to do with her. You will not be unhappy with her work, but she will not quote you a price or even idea of a price and she changes their is no customer loyalty with her. They have three dry cleaner names they use, zounds cleaners, vista and lake pleasant. read more

I went here to get 5 patches sewn on a jean jacket expecting it to be maybe $5-10 per patch, but she charged me SEVENTY dollars! That's more than I spent on the jacket itself! I had to get it as a Christmas gift so I went in on Friday morning and she told me it would be ready by Tuesday which worked for me. Christmas was on Monday and she told me when I picked it up that she charged me so much because she had to "spend her Christmas Day sewing patches and working" and made me feel bad about giving them my business. And SHE told me Tuesday it would be ready, I didn't tell her Tuesday it had to be ready, so that was just bad time management on their end. The whole experience just made me feel uncomfortable and she complained to me how hard it was to sew them like it was my fault. I used this cleaners one time and they lost one of the very few pairs of slacks I own. The woman at the counter refused to say or do anything other than tell me if the slacks aren't on the ticket it's my loss. I don't use dry cleaning but maybe once a year so I know exactly what I drop off when I do.
