Staff come into rooms without knocking, with no regard for privacy or basic respect. The way they speak to patients is cold and rude, smart asses really, like people don't matter. It's disgusting how little care or compassion is shown. The facility is cold and stale. The staff's attitude is complete shit for a healthcare facility. Stafford should be ashamed of how they treat people.

Due to the fact that they are always understaffed we can easily say that It's not an easy turn around for this facility to be successful. I see that each and everyone that is working in this facility works really hard especially the rehab team and most importantly the nurses. If the rehab team and nurses can devide themselves just to meet their patient standard of care, they would. I would say give this facility a chance because inside this building is a great of team members that are working hard to give the care and support that our love one needs.

Lost all food plus displacement for 7 days. Management offered to put us in hotel which would have cost approx. At least 80 bucks a night, I turned down as I have a dog and he was a priority. So.... When finally got power back, manager ask us to write letters on what we lost and how we turned down hotel and why. We all did, hoping that we would just get July's rent knocked off. We figured we could recoup some ... Nope took off 250.00 for the month and I heard from a neighbor not Howard, manager that was it, no conversation. I actually believed the manager saying he had our backs, my mistake.

It's full of trespassers and drug dealers they don't allow dogs in the common areas when they say they're pet friendly or animals period even if they're emotionally support, licensed dogs or not. It was really hard for them to leave their home of 25 years, but after touring the community and a week or two adjusting to their new environment - they were sold! They are so happy in their new home at Merrill Gardens Tukwila! Shane, the general manager, is absolutely amazing! He is kind hearted, patient and understanding. My parents both adore him. In fact, they love all the staff - front desk, sales, events director, nurses, servers, cooks, housekeeping, etc - everyone is great, kind and helpful. My parents love the food in the dining room and also enjoy the option to cook their own breakfast because the kitchen in their apartment has a stove. Another perk, the outdoor patio has beautiful views of Mt Rainier and the Green River with lots of seating and garden boxes. My parents walk the Green River trail daily as it is only steps outside the front door of the community. Other items: My dad gets his hair cut and my mom her nails done at the salon within the lobby downstairs. Live music once a week during dinner. Activities - games, gatherings, etc. Great apartment - full kitchen, good views to green river, large bathrooms, nice modern design with large windows Beautiful lobby and dining room - modern and feels like a hotel. Ability to tailor nursing needs for each parent - medication assistance, extra checks, etc. Thanks all - it has been a great new chapter for my parents!

Wonderful staff, they are very helpful and kind to others…read more Place was pretty clean and the residents were very kind. Great location with an amazing view of the sunset from the deck. Also a red robin near by. Overall a really nice place, especally considering most senior buildings ive been to often seem to have robot-like staff members and ornery residents. But not here, it's nice. For me atleast :)
