Nurses don't work for this agency. They are high pressure and sketchy. Don't trust them to pay you.

Do not go with this home health provider. They provide subpar services in terms of ordering needed…read moresupplies to carry out care,, coordinating with family to schedule visits (and actually showing up for said visits), and discharging patients without prior notification or guidance. This kind of service leaves patients and their caregivers in the lurch when providing care and comfort to their loved ones. The management team does not know how to manage their staff appropriately in terms of time management and accountability.. The one nurse we did work with regularly complained of not enough staff for the coverage area, accountability from leadership and basically doing their required duties in care. I would not recommend this agency especially if you value the health and wellbeing of your loved ones.

The mission of Husky Senior Care is to help seniors (and their families) age at home successfully…read more If your loved one wants to stay in their home, Husky Senior Care is designed to support them. They are amazing at implementing this mission. Our father (a 94 year old retired UW professor) suffered from progressive dementia, and wanted to live out his life in 'his old home'. Our family of three sibling's along with two private caregivers had managed to keep Dad safe and fulfilled for several years. By the third year, the load was growing beyond our ability and energies. We wanted to maintain the quality of care for our father and avoid burn out for us. Husky Senior Care engaged with us quickly and smoothly. Their Care Manager model is brilliant. It is wonderful to have a personal relationship with a supportive person who coordinates all of the services. Sarah was caring, knowledgeable, and highly collaborative. She explored our family and care team values so they could design a care plan to meet our needs. She understood that we needed to wrap their services around our existing family care team. We coordinated scheduling and communication, working out systems so that our team and their staff could share task lists, meds management, and activities. Sarah also worked with us to file our Long Term Care Insurance claim and followed through with billing LTC directly. We started out with one agency caregiver who allowed us to fill out 7 days of daytime coverage. Adela was warm, caring, cooperative and hard working. She quickly developed trust with Dad, helping him to stay independent and supported. When she completed the usual chores (bathing, toileting, exercises, cooking, and cleaning) she took the initiative to keep up the garden and bring fresh flowers into the house. Her energy and joy made the house a brighter and better place for Dad and the family. Dad was hospitalized during his last month, and on discharge required 24/7 care at home. Husky transitioned quickly, bringing on more staff. They were careful to bring in as few people as possible, to avoid disrupting Dad with too many new faces. Care Management also transitioned to nursing, for meds delegation and coordination with Hospice. Katrina was there with us as we made the Hospice and 24/7 arrangements, coordinating, educating, and supporting. She trained both the agency staff and our private caregivers on meds delegation, so that Hospice meds could be used as needed. During Dad's final weeks Katrina coordinated directly with the hospice nurse, and helped us to understand the rapidly changing situation so we could make good choices. She could not have been more supportive and compassionate. Husky Senior Care is an outstanding agency. They provide superb support for both the family and senior who wants to age at home. They are reliable and trustworthy. Our family had complete confidence in their care for Dad and the support for us. When we started working with Husky Senior Care there was an immediate reduction of stress on all of us, including Dad. All of their staff; the caregivers, the Case Managers, and schedulers were professional, skilled, experienced, friendly, compassionate, supportive and reliable. They are flexible, providing exactly what you need, when you need it. They are able to coordinate with existing care teams, and with Hospice for end of life. Over the 6 months we worked with Husky Senior Care, our family and private care givers were all impressed by the level of support, compassion and professionalism from everyone who works on their team. One always wonders if you are doing enough for your parent, should you do more, or how else can we make our parent more comfortable at this stage of life. With Husky Senior Care on your team, you feel reassured, even rescued when some of the days just feel too overwhelming. It is an impressive organization, and we recommend it to your family without reservation.

I can't say enough good things about Husky senior care. I'm especially grateful to Kris, our care…read moremanager. Kris and her great caregivers helped my family get through the last few very difficult years. My husband was diagnosed with brain cancer four years ago and became paralyzed after the surgery and needed 24/7 care. I needed professional care during the day so I could go to work. I tried a couple other home care companies but unfortunately that didn't work out for various reasons. A hospital social worker recommended Husky. Jennifer came over for the first visit. I was very impressed by how caring and professional she was. I signed on. Kris took over as my care manager afterwards. And we settled on a few great caregivers that bonded with my husband. Kris came over to visit regularly. Every time we had a sub for a day, Kris always made the effort to be here to make sure things run smoothly. Without Kris and her excellent caregivers, my family couldn't have pulled through the last few years. My husband put up a brave fight and far exceeded every doctor's expectation. Unfortunately, his condition worsened toward the end of this summer and was admitted to the hospital for inpatient hospice care. I was really touched that Kris went to the hospital to visit my husband. She was there for him and brought him comfort and made him feel loved the last day he was awake. He slipped into a coma and passed away shortly after Kris's visit. I was choking back tears typing this letter. Kris, I will be forever grateful for what you did. You and Husky made all the difference to me and my family during our most difficult years. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful facility!…read more Did some extensive research on options for Gma about a year before she moved in, June of 2025. Wanted a quality place where she would feel at home and be able to make friends and socialize and stay busy. The Executive Director, Madelyn, is absolutely fabulous to work with, you can tell she really cares about the residents and has a passion for what she does. The support staff and activities team are all so welcoming, smiley and overall great to be around and provide a very warm and welcoming vibe for residents and visitors! We did some extensive research into assisted living facilities and this was by far my #1 choice for reasons I will list below: 1. The amenities - activities galore and always changing, well thought out and the activities staff are friendly and are proficient in social engagement for the elderly and cognitively impaired. They do a good job of offering lots of engagement opportunities for residents. 1.a. - Addtl ammenitites - attached bistro that is open to the public, resident key required for entry from bistro into the facility. Nice for a little change of scenery 1. b. - Addtl - salon on site! Addtl fee, but there is a hair salon ON SITE ... I believe they might do nails as well but not sure... but this is SO convenient for those that don't drive and don't want to hassle with booking the resident shuttle LOVE LOVE This! & it's right off the entry way so it has a nice window view to the street 1. c. - Addtl - shuttle! The resident shuttle can be booked to take vehicle-less residents to their doctors appointments, or any other places within a 5 mile radius that they need to go! They typically have a weekly grocery trip on the activities calendar as well, so there's a pre-planned trip that everyone can go on for any grocery needs. 2. The facitity itself - always clean, very beautifully decorated, love the small touches of real flowers on the lunch tables when they have them as well as holiday decor, little snack and treats in the lounging area with some fresh water, apples and cookies, great layout of the facility, good location with a decent flat walkway right out front that residents can go for easy walks. Elavators with key required access to go to up resident floors. Location is RIGHT down the street from Overlake hospital, which is convenient, we did have to go there one evening when gma was having dizziness and vomiting and it only took a few minutes to get there. VERY convenient for healthcare reasons. 2. a Rooms - rooms are somewhat small but are perfect size for one or two people that are mostly going to be out and about in the facility the majority of the day. Each room has decent views so that is very nice (we looked at several different options of rooms before choosing). The bathrooms are large and perfect for safety for the age range of target residents. Linens and house keeping are provided once a week!!! Yay!!! 3. Care & safety - The assisted staff bring meds in the AM and they do nightly safety check rounds, call button lanyard for each resident and emergency safety pulls in each restroom in the facility and in each private resident restroom. RN on staff with 24/7 staff on site who can call the on-call RN if needed. Concierge staffed desk during the open hours of the facility, which is so nice there's always someone monitoring who is coming in, check in required with name badge. Resident key required for elavators up to floors! 4. Food & dining - the food is excellent and a well thought out rotating menu. Some of the same, regular items available, but always a new highlighted daily menu with new and exciting items. The food is clearly quality and cooked well, they didn't hire just anyone, the chef is a real chef! The dining room is open access all day from AM until dinner time, I think they close up at 6pm. 5. Staff - how the facility chooses their staff and what type of staff they have on site says a lot. All the staff during my visit seems welcoming, pleasant, smiling, helpful and overall enjoyed being at their jobs. The long term care sector can be one that is overlooked and underserved and we were not going to choose a place that hires people that don't want to be at their jobs because caring for loved ones is a very important role and this was a huge factor for us as well. 6. Price - price is expensive but honestly is similar to other facilities yet far exceeds in value above and beyond the others that we looked at. We visited this place about a year prior to moving Gma in, they allowed us to come for a complementary lunch and activity to get a feel and be shown around and all that. Mom and I visited, did the tour and looked at rooms and a later date I brought Gma for lunch and an activity. I was very pleased with the experience and recently visited Gma in Oct of 2025, a few months after she moved in, for about a week and a half. The experience was nothing less than the prior visit! A+++ would HIGHLY recommend!

When the aide arrived and I instructed her on the time and doses, she said she could not administer them, which is one of the main reasons she was hired. The aide was also not able to move my husband on her own, which was the other main reason she was hired. Additionally, when I came to relieve her at the end of her eight hour shift, I found my husband in a urine soaked diaper. The frosting on the cake was when I received a bill for the "services" I received, which was covered by Hospice. It took me talking to three people in order to get to a person who knew what an invoice actually was and to resolve the problem. I would think twice about hiring an aide from this company as the care was seriously lacking and the basic business proclivity left a lot to be desired.

Also both of them called me and filled me in on the visit and made reasonable suggestions about things that could be done to improve our setup. (I had been at work but there is a licensed care giver with my wife when I am not there.) When the Speech Therapist (Rita) visited, she had my wife crying hysterically by telling her she needed to go back into a nursing facility. Rita denied saying this to me but the next day Signature had a Care Conference and made the decision to stop caring for my wife saying she needed to go back to a nursing facility. ** They didn't even bother to tell me about this decision! ** They didn't get any input from me. They did not talk to the nursing facility my wife had just come out of. They just called and told our Primary Care they were stopping treatment. A patient's mental state is very important to the recovery process but Signature decided to completely ignore that and made a decision without all of the relevant information. My wife was in a very bad state while in the facility and sending her back would be extremely depressing to her. (The facility was fine, my wife just hated being away from home.) Speech (Rita) had left a list of a dozen things that I was doing wrong. Then talking on the phone, Rita went through that list again. "This is wrong, this is wrong, this is wrong....". She made me feel pretty worthless as a husband trying to do my best caring for my wife. So while some of the interaction was fine, overall it was pretty bad.
