Staff was extremely patient and always kind to my mom. Many activities were offered that seniors enjoyed. Food was alway good. I would recommend Atria to anyone who wants to be reassured that their loved one will be safe, well cared for, and loved. The staff knows the residents by name and always helpful. We knew that we had made the right decision in moving her there.

Carol just wants to make sales and get her commission, she doesn't care about Seniors or their situations. Carol lied to us about many features & activities at Atria. If you tour this facility, remember they are desperate to fill Apartments and they don't care about you or your Senior loved one. As soon as my Mother moved in, it was one problem after another with Carol, who clearly lied to us. Beware of this woman and her lies.

I was reminded of Parkwood while talking with my mom's home health nurse. She has a new patient in Parkwood. I was interested in reading reviews to see if anything had changed. Doesn't look like it. Whatever you do, do NOT place your loved one in their memory care. Take a look at it and you'll know why. Four years ago, we were all still dealing with problems resulting from Covid. I tried to explain the issues we had at Parkwood on that. Primarily, the caregivers were very inattentive. My parents were in Parkwood for six weeks rehab. One day I found my mother lying across the bed with her pants down below her hips. An aide had taken her to the bathroom and left her like that when she mentioned that at home her husband normally helped her with that. The aide said ok and left her. I was more than happy to get my parents out when their rehab was over. I don't know if the director is the same person, but the director at that time was totally indifferent and did nothing about the issues I brought to his attention. Only unpleasant memories of Parkwood. I do not recommend it.

We paid for every day we were there and now I'm getting a collection agency harassing us because we refused to pay the 30 day move out penally after they received inadequate care. So you think it's fair they get to penalized us by charging us a month we weren't there but they don't have to do what they were supposed to honor?

My family has developed quite a history with Elmcroft- all of it extremely positive. My dad was…read moreadmitted in February 2019 to their memory care unit and we were immediately embraced by their caring staff. Ashley, the memory care supervisor was beyond professional and caring. At every turn, they took superb care of him and kept him occupied with activities geared for his capacity level. I think it takes a special calling to work with dementia patients, and Ashley and her team exceeded every expectation. In April, the nursing staff's diligence caught the fact that Dad's blood oxygen level was dropping and had him transported to the Emergency room. He remained there until his passing in May. But the Elmcroft staff's alertness gave us several weeks with him that we would not have had otherwise, and we are all extremely grateful. But then, in August it was time to admit my mother and Elmcroft of Bedford was our only choice. Mom had resisted this move for years, but when she finally agreed, the folks at Elmcroft made the whole process very easy. Within a short time, my very reluctant mother was making friends, actively engaging in all the activities and just having lots of fun. Each month, she pours over the activity calendar to see what is coming up and she checks off which ones she is interested in. My mother is a very physically disabled stroke victim who requires help dressing and using the bathroom. But the caregivers treat her like they would their own mother or grandmother. I am just amazed at the kindness this staff shows to her and to the other residents. It takes a very special kind of person to do this job, and I am certain they are not in this role to make the big bucks. I cannot say a single negative thing about any one of the caregivers. Even the maintenance guys are incredible. Adam is really a super guy who recently helped my mom in and out of our car several times when I had to take her to doctor appointments (I was experiencing a lot of back problems and his help was a life saver). I keep asking Jill, the director, where she finds these wonderful people. I am so incredibly grateful for the dignity that was given to my father with his dementia and my mother with her physical disabilities. Elmcroft is proof that there is still kindness in this world, because I see it in action every day.

They are rude and are the reason the kitchen is severely understaffed, yet Jeremy does nothing about it. A female concierge got inappropriately touched by one of the residents, yet Jeremy did nothing but blame her. So many great employees have walked out on this place because of his neglect. Also do not bring your loved ones to this place as they are ALWAYS out of something and I don't kid when I say ALWAYS. This place needs an Executive Director that cares and gets out of his office and does something. The place is really nice buts it's just a cover up to the bad things. Residents in Independent Living are completely out of control.

Don't Be Fooled! Mustang Creeks Estates Assisted Living in Keller should be avoided at all costs…read more My father was a resident there for almost a year. His safety, care, food quality, and overall experience has been horrific. So many things wrong and reported but to no avail. Most of the staff are not trained and have no experience cooking, dealing with different Levels of care, and therefore they quit. There is someone new almost daily and they end up quitting because it is a horrible place to work. Employees quit and walk out during their shift leaving the residents unsupervised, without food and medication. The food quality is very poor and most of the employees just do what they can preparing a meal and MOST of the time the food is NOT available to them in order to make the recipes from the "FAKE" cookbook. They leave the House and go to the other houses to get the ingredients needed to prepare the meals if it is available at another house. The turnover of employees is VERY High including management. I was told they are getting new food vendors and recipes, training for employees and just give them time. I gave them 7-8 months and was told the same thing many times and they have a new vendor for food but it is even worse than before. And, OH BOY, did sales put on a show when we did our tour of the facility... Had a lady in there cooking Chicken and Dumplings, baked goods displayed and then after about 2 weeks NOTHING, never saw that same woman again, or any of the same employees. There are some good ones but they don't stay because they do care and don't want to work for a place that doesn't give them the support they need or the residents. I live very close by and therefore I was up there quite often and witnessed it all. The residents have also complained and they are not listened to or given any resolve. They advertise and tell you it is 24 hr care and it is NOT! Keep in mind that my dad was in the assisted living house. But still supposed to have at least 1 person on the 10:00 pm shift to 6:00 am shift but they do NOT! A person from another house comes and checks on them for 30 minutes and then goes back to the other house/ so 2 houses share 1 employee. Also, most of the people that were in my dads house are using walkers, wheelchairs, and have some sort of dementia, there is NO way all of those people could get out of that house if there was a fire, if someone got up in the night and fell....who would help them? This place is NOT a place you want to put your loved one!

Unfortunately it ended up being a nightmare. They tell you they're going to put them in a house with two workers. They were lucky if they even had ONE worker per house. MOST of the time they forgot to give her her pills. When we finally took her out all of her pills were still there. Another words, they hadn't been giving her her pills in WEEKS! On one occasion I went to visit her, and nobody was working her house. I went to another house to ask why nobody was there. When I arrived at the other house it was with o clock at night. All of the residents were at the table waiting for dinner and NOBODY had fed them yet. The last straw was when Covid hit. We weren't able to visit her because of the restrictions. Hospice has to start visiting her during this time. When hospice went in to visit her they found her in her wheel chair sitting in her own dried up feces. They told us the room was a mess, and she was in the same clothes she had been in when they visited her last week. Her sheets were blood and urine stained. We immediately went to go get her out and they wouldn't less us have her. It was horrific. We had to threaten to call 911. Then HR had to come and they finally gave her to us. A few months later I was at a friends daughters birthday party. TWO other people there had had the exact same thing happen. I am BEGGING you, do not leave your loved one here. It will be one of the biggest mistakes of your life. Not to mention they kept raising the rent. We were paying 3,700 dollars a month of the kind of treatment. I also have photo and video evidence of EVERYTHING i just listed above if anybody would like to view it.
