She explained everything well and asked questions to our mom in a gentle and compassionate manner. All the staff has been kind and friendly and placed a priority on generous care and recovery for mom. What more could we ask for? Additionally the facilities are modern and clean, and it is one patient to a room also for privacy. After extremely poor experiences in two other facilities the last two years, we would wholeheartedly recommend Advanced. Who you trust with the care and recovery of those you love is an important decision. With Advanced we have felt the right decision was finally made.

Dr. Farley Brown initially turned me off just based on his initial discussion of prices over the phone. Here's a doctor who doesn't know what he charges for adjustments. (Most doctors or medical professionals performing a standard or routine procedure that doesn't have a lot of deviation usually offer a cash price if you state you will be paying cash and avoiding insurance on the spot in my experience) This created a red flag for me thinking he just wants to know what insurance I have and how much he can milk them for. After further discussion of his background, I decided to take a chance and go in for an adjustment. In addition to the adjustment, I had several other services thrown my way including on the spot physical therapy, massage therapy and various consultation fees. Naturally I found this out after the insurance had already processed his claim and I reviewed it. (Thankfully my insurance company saw how ridiculous these were and denied or paid only a percentage of the fees) To make matters worse, his adjustment wasn't very good, and the rest of these services seem pretty shoddy as I have had physical therapy before at an actual hospital and see a licensed massage therapist 2 to 3 times a month. Farley Brown's staff doesn't match up as they seem like amateurs. I also felt turned off by the old equipment and water stained ceiling tiles, but that's trivial compared to the overall experience. In my opinion, if you want a more personal experience where you can actually connect with the doctor and can review what you're getting into, look somewhere else as I wouldn't recommend Farley Brown to anyone based on my experience.

I have Orthostatic hypotension: when laying down my blood seems okay, when I set up it drops 20-30 points, when I stand there is another 20-30 point drop. The cardiologist keeps my sitting BP a bit high so I will avoid the standing drop and me becoming dizzy. I take Midodrine at breakfast and lunch. Today I was refused the breakfast meds, and almost refused the lunch med because the nurse took my sitting BP, declared it was High and I didn't need it. I asked him to take it again when I stood up, of course it dropped, and he gave me the meds. I also take pain medicine because of degenerate disc and arthritis in my back. So far today it has been refused. The nurse is refusing the medication that 2 doctors have ordered for me! This app only allowed me to lower by one star, but, you decide! Bear in mind the other review I gave for five stars I standby with the nurses and all employees. Monday through Friday it is the weekend group that has been a total disappointment. I had scheduled to go home Thursday, today's actions may cause me to go home earlier!

My poor mother endured neglect, Verbal, Emotional and Physical) YES,me and my dad called in the State Board. That was the biggest waste of time. Nothing helped. I wish to God I would have put in a camera to observe what was going on. My mother was developing a bad cough and her chest rattled. They did X-rays, we were told Mrs Peggy is doing fine, nothing to worry about. I had my dad go up and see for himself and be the judge. He was horrified and demanded she be taken by ambulance immediately. Turns out, mom had pneumonia after all on top of her COPD. They lied. Mom wasn't "doing fine" she was dying! We lost her 3 weeks later at Arlington Memorial. I have cried more tears than you can imagine, the guilt I have for not moving her. We didn't have the money for a better one. She layed in her own filth for hours. They would hide her call button. My mom was a bedridden They wouldn't give her her meds like someone else stayed in their review. I could go on and in but just read the reviews and I promise you, it's all true!!!!!! Then she said the doctor was in error in not adding the CT scan with dye. This was a person that just schedules appointments. Adding dyes can damage the kidneys. Then the lady says Medicare does not accept these CT treatments? This was not true. I talked to the manager of the Texas Social Security Medicare and he said by all means he accepts all CT submitted by a doctor....Outrageous behavior by someone that is suppose to help and just do her job. I'll never go to your hospital for imaging again and have taken my business to a better informed medical provider.

They were all just in groups chatting and laughing away. I informed them that my member needed help. One nurse rudely responded it was time for them to begin rounds and they would get to her when they could. What? She needed help then. That's absurd. Sad. Just very sad.

The nurses and other staff are responsive and caring, and have always been happy to take my calls to check in on her. The facility is also clean and pleasant. I do not understand some of these reviews, but with three stays now (current one in progress) for completely different rehab issues, I feel our experience has been consistent and satisfactory. I'm grateful to have Ignite as an option after my mother's hospital stays when she needs more expert attention than can be provided at home.

My father-in-law was admitted directly from the hospital late on a Friday. He was placed in a room…read morethat wasn't prepared and was far from the nurses' station. He couldn't walk on his own and needed the restroom; after pressing the call button, no one responded for over 10 minutes. I had to go find help, and a nursing assistant eventually came. When I spoke with Barbara, the Patient Experience Manager, she said 10 minutes was standard and that by law they have up to two hours to respond to a call button. That was unbelievable to hear. He was later moved to a room that was actually ready, but he sat there all day with almost no staff interaction--aside from food trays being dropped off and picked up. He is 82 with multiple medical issues, yet his PT didn't start for several days and no one checked on him. Thankfully, my niece visited; he had an accident, and she helped clean him and change his clothes. Otherwise, he was left wearing the same clothes for days because he couldn't change them himself. This facility is advertised as skilled nursing and rehabilitation, but I saw neither. Leaving an 82-year-old alone all day without routine checks is unacceptable. For the most part, staff were rude and acted like he was a burden. If you want rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and a caring, attentive team, look elsewhere.
