I think I've wasted my time and money. If you need menopause help quickly, go elsewhere. Signed, Still Miserable Update: I called corporate and they got in touch with regional, who then got in touch with the office. The office finally called me. It turns out that Lilly, the NP I was seeing, has left the office and my stuff just completely fell through the cracks. My scripts have now been sent in, finally. However, I'm wondering how things will be going forward and likely will be switching to a different provider as this experience has not let time feeling confident in the care I will be needing in an ongoing basis.

My experience was beyond disappointing from the start at this location…read more I have been in healthcare for more than 30 years and patient care has always been my biggest priority. With that being said, I know things can be busy or staffed and be shorthanded, but I'm not sure if that was the case. From the moment I walked in for my 1st appointment I felt very unwelcome! The receptionist barely acknowledged me was short unfriendly and almost seemed just irritated to be there. I have excellent insurance and I'm ver knowledgeable with insurance. She just told me my copay was $99 with no explanation, to me that was more than normal but I paid and will confirm with my ins EOB the costs. One of the responsibilities of a receptionist or front office is to set a 1st impression of a practice and this was a big failure on her part. The nurse that took my vitals was pleasant, the PA was great, knowledgeable and explained everything well. The second nurse that took my blood was outgoing and friendly, this gave me hope about my future appointments. I scheduled my follow up for a week later to review my results. On my second appointment there was a different receptionist and she was more pleasant. I was brought back quickly and a new nurse came in took my BP and explain another provider was here today than the normal one. She left saying she'd be in shortly. I waited 50 minutes no one ever came check in on me or explain why I was waiting so long! I would have been ok if someone came in, apologized for the wait and gave me an update but that never happened. After a hour of nothing I went to the front office and asked for a copy of my test results and said I've been waiting a hour no one has come in, I'll find another office. I was more shocked by the total lack of professionalism when she never once apologized and just printed my results out and handed them to me. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. It's a corporate medical office and you would think they'd have better trading in place for their team. This was my worst experience ever and I still don't know what I paid for? Update!!!! As I thought I received my EOB today and they charge my ins more than $800 for a visit with a PA and blood work. Per my EBO I was only to pay $24. I'm not dealing with these people that abuse medical billing codes. I'm filling a complaint wit BCBS. I'll let them deal with their billing department. Always check your benefits and EOB most of these large Corp managed care facilities are run by business people that expect you not to catch their misuse of billing!

However their office will blow up your phone with text and calls constantly about paperwork, and confirming. etc. They even text you at 7:00 a.m about things. It's a lot! Furthermore if you need MRI"s or treatment they only do it at Baylor Scott & White in Arlington on Highland. I will never go there again if that is the only place the doctors at Arlington Orthopedics can send patients to. If I thought that Arlington Orthopedics was bad about blowing up up your phone, Baylor is a thousand times worse especially when it comes to getting their money before your procedure! I received multiple calls and text from multiple people there daily wanting their money. We were waiting for our insurance to process claims from another procedure somewhere else where our deductible could be seen by Baylor. Still the day before my procedure they sent another text saying they have to have my payment tomorrow in all caps! What business does this? Even on the day of we had to sit in the business office and hash all this over again and again which made things very stressful before having a procedure. Lastly out of 2 visits there, I have only encountered one nice person. No one there cares about anything except getting your money. My advice is to think long and hard about Arlington Orthopedics if you think you may need an actual procedure and then you better have your money ready and your ducks in a row. Baylor Scott & White is very aggressive in getting their money. That's all that matters to them.

If you need surgery you're a priority but after that, get in line. While some aspects of the practice are as good as they were 5-7 years, others have significantly eroded . Scheduling and communication are two of the biggest negative changes - not sure why, actually, just based on recent experience with a surgeon's medical assistant and surgery scheduler. Our experience included not receiving return phone calls when promised, not honoring commitments to appointments as discussed, and these are things that we as patients can evaluate - as opposed to how great the surgery was.

I worked a lot with Ambrosia as well, and she is awesome too! Last year, I saw one of their podiatrists who has since moved, so upon finding a new doctor, I needed to pick up my x-rays. I just popped in on the spur of the moment, and Emily at the front desk went back to see if she could get my x-rays. It was late in the day so the staff was already gone , but without being asked, Emily had them copied the next morning and called me saying I could pick them up anytime. I just wanted to say that she went above and beyond to provide me with help when I just popped in. I love the staff here, as well as the doctors. I can't say enough good things about the entire office. Thank you Emiliy

I did not want to have to have a confrontation with strangers about masks but because the nurse did not, I did. I first asked very nicely, "hey would you guys mind please wearing masks?" And of course the answer was no. And as I insisted it was state law etc, the nurse said nothing. Then, the man was loud and yelling at me. I asked her if they were allowed in there without masks and she then finally said no they were required to Wear masks. And then they did. I imagine there are lots of people who go there who have health conditions and the last thing they need is to have to have a confrontation with strangers when they are just trying to get well or stay well. Of all places that should be concerned about protecting the health of their customers, I would think this would be one of them. I understand that the nurse also probably did not want to deal with a confrontation but when I made my very simple first request, she should have immediately jumped in to ask for their compliance.
