She sits with you and talks to you and makes you feel comfortable. It also doesn't feel like a typical doctor's office where you can't relax and you feel on edge the whole time. A lot of times doctors rush in and out and you feel like they listened to you. She's listening and she's taking it all in and she cares deeply. I would say I highly recommend her, but it's a catch-22. With writing this review I think she's wonderful, but at the same time I like being able to get my appointments with her. Also, my 11-year-old daughter sees her and just loves her. We followed her from Midlothian because neither one of us wanted to find a different doctor. She's just so great.

Katherine Pederson, DO, MS 1757 Broad Park Cir N #201,…read moreMansfield, TX 76063 Family practice physician I advise anyone using katherine Perderson to review your billing and make sure your insurance was billed for what was actually performed. I was hoping the manager of the facility in mansfield would call me back again how she said she would, so we could resolve this issue. (But after the first call i have not heard back. )Simply because "the doctor" says they performed something doesn't make it true. There was no thorough investigation done. This billing issue was dismissed way too quickly. Anyone can be "nice" and willing to listen, but there actions after is what pushed me to write this review and make others aware. 1. Appointment was made for a first visit that they said was mandatory to establish a relationship. When we arrived to apt. We specifically stated to several employees before being called to the back no physical exam was going to be done. Weight was taken, lungs were heard, blood was drawn. Doctor Katherine advised to schedule physical soon on the next visit. Before leaving the office they told me doctor katherine had changed the visit code and billed for yearly physical. Which they also looked confused as to why. No one had answers. I had to wait till manager called later that day. I told the manager We were told several times by several employees it was just a first visit to establish relationship. And $10 copay was charged, manager did refund after I first spoke with her. But the $10 is not what bothered me it was the doctors actions. All I wanted was for them to code the billing correctly or actually perform a thorough physical exam and any professional that cares would. But instead was told that the doctor may not be a good fit for us. And that she was attesting she did perform it. So they couldn't do anything about it. After talking more with manager, she said she had to talk to katherine again and would call me back the next day. I waited until about 1pm and called them since i had not recieved a call. And was told manager was in a meeting. She advised the employee assisting me to read off the notes. I didnt think that was professional. The employee said she would have manager call me back. I was expecting a solution of either billing code correction or a thorough physical exam performed, not the bare minimum. Which just really makes me sad. In person the doctor seems great it's the behind the scenes actions like billing that I don't understand how a doctor can take advantage of patients like that. If what she did was a physical she definitely did the bare minimum required to get away with coding the visit as a physical. So please review your bills, it's something that most of us don't normally do and just pay. Or we don't look because it's covered by insurance, without realizing our insurance is paying for things we didn't even have done.

I drove over…read morean hour to attend my scheduled appointment, only to be informed upon arrival that the office no longer accepts my insurance. This information should have been communicated to me before the appointment, especially considering the amount of time and effort it took for me to get there. What made the situation even more upsetting was the attitude of the staff. The matter was handled as though it was no big deal, with very little empathy or concern shown for the inconvenience caused. I rearranged my schedule, spent time and money traveling, and arrived expecting to receive care, only to leave with nothing but frustration and disappointment. At minimum, I would expect a medical office to verify insurance information ahead of time and notify patients of any issues prior to their appointment. Better communication and professionalism from the staff would have made a significant difference in how this situation was handled. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future patients are not put through the same experience.

I will never go back because they were to add a specific blood test to my lab and ended up adding something totally different and without the specific test. What they added came at a cost of $995 and I didnt even know that until the lab billed me. Patient beware!!!!!

In search of a new PCP i stumbled upon Dr Wood. She's located in a really great area and as a plus…read moreshe's within the same community as my OB-GYN (Dr Kollar is amazing can't say enough good things). Despite that, the all around experience I had with her and her staff was just ...meh. The front staff is friendly enough but they came across very loud and chatty. It's a pretty small office so their voices carry. I also overheard them talking about a patient and patient info. They weren't speaking negatively on the patient and didn't use any names specifically but that just goes back to what I said previously about the office space. They need to remember to save that for when you don't have patients in the waiting room that can hear you :/. Now Dr Wood herself is also a very nice woman however I can agree with the other reviewer in saying that she doesn't introduce herself. This was my first time meeting her and I had to read her white coat just to make sure she was MY doctor. I just went in for a routine physical so the encounter that i had with her was pretty brief. She's knowledgeable and gave me the good/typical advice any other physician would give (i.e cut down on bad/up the good, exercise more blah blah lol). As far as personality is concerned, Dr Woods' demeanor was very blasé yet affable. If you're looking for a outgoing, charismatic physician that's gonna talk to you and "seemingly" be interested in your life/happiness/future then she's not it. She's gonna tell you what you need to know, what changes you should make and how, then send you on your way (which is fine). I'll keep going to her until I find a doctor I'm more in love/vibe with.

Maybe you should tell your patients before you decide to retire or quit!! I have no text messages,…read moreno emails, no calls, NOTHING! Even on the portal, no announcement. I have been a patient since 2007 and called to get my blood pressure medine renewed with 9 pills left to a phone number disconnected and an office shut down. There is nothing on my patient portal that tells me she was retiring and when I was there there the last time, she said nothing of her retirement. I am left with no one to renew my Rx although the pharmacy has been trying for 30 days and no word. Wasted my time to drive by the office and no one is there either and nothing posted. Who leaves their patients high and dry like this?? DR. WOOD evidently does! Unacceptable and completely inappropriate

I cannot express enough how incredibly frustrating and disappointing our experience with Arlington…read moreOrthopedics has been. The only positive thing I can say about this practice is that Dr. Rodriguez is an absolutely amazing doctor. He is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely great at what he does. Unfortunately, the staff and care team surrounding him have made this one of the worst experiences we have EVER had with a medical provider. The level of disorganization, lack of communication, and complete disregard for patient needs is honestly unacceptable. Orders are repeatedly sent to the wrong locations, prescription orders are never sent as they should be, and trying to get anyone to correct these issues or provide even the most basic assistance is nearly impossible. These are not minor inconveniences. These are issues that directly impact a patient's ability to receive timely and appropriate medical care. Good luck trying to get someone on the phone. The care team line goes straight to voicemail, only for you to be told that the mailbox is full. When you attempt to call the main office for assistance, you are either hung up on or transferred right back to the same care team line that DOES NOT WORK. It is a never-ending cycle of being passed around with absolutely no resolution, accountability, or concern for the patient. What makes this experience even more upsetting is the complete lack of patient-focused care. There is no sense of urgency, no attention to detail, no willingness to help, and seemingly no understanding that patients are relying on this office to coordinate important aspects of their medical treatment. Patients should not have to repeatedly chase down prescriptions, track down orders, or practically beg someone to answer the phone and do their job. This is, without question, the worst experience we have ever had with a medical provider's staff. It is incredibly unfortunate because Dr. Rodriguez truly deserves better representation from the team supporting him. A great physician can only do so much when the people responsible for coordinating patient care consistently fail to follow through. No matter how wonderful a doctor may be, it is simply not worth being treated this poorly or having to fight this hard to receive basic medical assistance. I sincerely hope Dr. Rodriguez and the leadership at Arlington Orthopedics take these concerns seriously because the current level of service is unacceptable. Patients deserve to be heard, respected, and supported throughout their care, not ignored, dismissed, or left without answers. Dr. Rodriguez deserves five stars. Unfortunately, the experience with his staff and care team makes it incredibly difficult to recommend this practice to anyone.
