She was there when Covid began, and I am so very thankful for the way that they handled the situation, and the way that they would look out for her and check in on her when we could not come personally. In the few occasions that she needed some thing, they were always quick to help and they really paid attention to her! They learned my name quickly and always had time to say hello to me and see how they could help us, no matter how big or small the need may be. It is not brand new, it is not in perfect condition, but it is really classy and really nice on the inside! I always thought the food was wonderful, and I was surprised that it was not more expensive, based on the level of service that she got! I highly recommend Mark, DeeDee and Diane, who are truly a gift to all of the seniors living there!!!

I knew…read morewhat to look for as I worked with many of the largest assisted living providers for the past 30 years. I had seen many things I did not want to see ever again. I met the staff and talked to a few of the residents. The staff was very friendly and attentive to every residents needs. You could tell, they cared. The Director went over every detail of the contract explaining exactly what we could expect and how every aspect from the different levels of care to the daily schedules. I asked many questions from what the cost would be when mom could no longer feed herself, walk or require full time assistance. This was fully explained and the increase in cost was very in line. Having lost mom over a year and a half ago now, I still keep in touch with the Director as she became a part of our family and I know in my heart, my mother was in the very best place we could have chosen for her. Not because of the hourly staff but because of the management and corporate. The food looks better than it taste lately. The community recently changed internet and phone providers and it's been a nightmare ever since! Prior to the change, we paid for mom to have her own modem. Initially, we didn't like having to pay for it but looking back at it now, we would go back to paying for without complaint. The community has one last, Chris, who handles all the complaints and fixes the problems. We made the mistake of asking Polly once for help...well she was no help. She was rude, short with the answer and told mom she had to wait for Chris to return on Monday. Today while visiting mom we learned the phones and internet was out yet again. We have been dealing with this problem for months now. This is the "free" internet they advertise. This isn't a problem my mom is having but the entire community. We have placed several complaints with the front desk and Windy and nothing is being done. We are told that we can wait it out or set up an account with Spectrum. The building is old and it shows. There are multiple leaks with every rain storm. Since moving mom in there have been at least 3 floods due to old pipes. It seems as though the things needing to be fixed aren't being fixed yet new furniture continues to arrive. This week their back gate broke, again! The top portion broke and was leaning forward, a true safety hazard. The worst part is that management will raise moms rent and continue to put referral flyers in her box to help move people into a building that is failing apart.

She explained everything well and asked questions to our mom in a gentle and compassionate manner. All the staff has been kind and friendly and placed a priority on generous care and recovery for mom. What more could we ask for? Additionally the facilities are modern and clean, and it is one patient to a room also for privacy. After extremely poor experiences in two other facilities the last two years, we would wholeheartedly recommend Advanced. Who you trust with the care and recovery of those you love is an important decision. With Advanced we have felt the right decision was finally made.

The nurse O-B and here supervisor,…read moreRachael, pretended to listen and care but did nothing to improve my mother's situation while there! If anything, she got worse while she was under their care and objected to us removing my mother from the facility when we saw it was necessary. Many of the staff are good at what they do, unfortunately, the two handling my mother's care during her rehabilitation weren't!! Other staff members privately confirmed that they are very short-handed at this facility and nurses don't voluntarily chip in to help the Certified Nurse's Aids (CNAs) when needed! As a matter of fact, very few of the staff volunteer to do anything and give the impression that it is a major inconvenience to assist! Phone calls ring endlessly, patients' "red button" calls go ignored!!! The staff doctor, Dr. Satani, isn't much better if we consider effectiveness. Besides, he goes twice a week and many times... not even that! It's a real mess at this facility although they insist that the change in management last summer has made some major improvement!!! Although complaints were ongoing on our part, the head administrator took no interest in reaching out to us. Thanks to Joanna, Social Administrator, who was the only one who listened and helped us with our situation. If you love your family member, DON'T bring them here! If you have had a good or bad experience, please post them to let future family members know the present condition of this facility. My regret is that I didn't take the bad reviews more seriously. My hopes were that since they were from a few years ago that things had improved... not the case!!! Stay away from here and look for another place!
