Stopped in yesterday to replace the nose pads on my pair of glasses (same pair that the lenses needed replacing). The left transparent cover broke in half and the right side looked like it wasn't far from the end. There was only one worker on the floor and she was busy. I kinda smiled and nodded in her direction and here is a line-by-line of my visit: "What do you need?" "I would like to have the nose pieces replaced on a pair of glasses." "Have a seat here." She then gestured to a desk that had FedEx packages on it. I really didn't feel comfortable sitting down at desk with stuff (that is none of my business) stackedon it, so I asked her to let me know when she was available because I was going to browse. Hey -- you never know when you are going to find the perfect frames! About a minute later another customer walks in. She is greeted in the same fashion and only doing a quick pick up so the worker stops what she is doing and helps her. I am not in a BIG hurry.. but why was I skipped? I stopped browsing and watched the woman work to make it clear I was ready to be helped. "Do you have the glasses?" .. Yes that is how she started our conversation again. "Yes, I do." "Ok, sit here." "You can see one is broken and the other -- " "It's from the oils in your skin." "Ok." I sit in silence while she switches them out. She then hands my glasses back and turns away. I sit in silence waiting for her to turn back and ring me up. She starts talking to her coworker that has come onto the floor. "Excuse me, mam, am I good? Is the a charge?" I would give this place no stars, but the staff was okay. The glasses were not as per the prescription. I could not see well at all after 2 attempts to get them correct. I needed them for my vacation since my glasses fell into the waterway . When I went to pick them up the lenses were NOT my prescription. Luckily I had reading glasses that were a small help but my distance was not was good. Everything was blurry. When I got back 7 days later I went there and again the lenses were not correct, even had a second eye exam to make sure. The maker of the glasses work at this place and saw him laughing through the door. I insisted on a refund, got it and went somewhere else but I am suffering from headaches and eye pain with no glasses. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I've been buying glasses here for about 8 years. I ordered two pairs about a week before COVID 19 shut everything down. I got a call from Visionworks a few days after the shut down and was told my glasses would be mailed to me. They did show up, but only one of the two. So I got online on their website, entered my order number and told them I only received one pair. Later that day I had a voicemail that Visionworks was on it and would figure out what happened and send the other pair to me. About 4 days later, Visionworks called to verify my address, and my glasses showed up about 2 days later. I didn't even expect an answer to my email for days, but they jumped on this. Thank goodness for me, neither pair even needs adjustments, so I'm all set. In the midst of what must have been chaos, Visionworks helped and responded promptly. Thank you, Visionworks. read more

Returned for my reading glasses and to have the sunglasses adjusted to fit better. She managed to get the sunglasses to fit better, but still are loose. Will be returning to try again. Reading glasses fit well, but cannot read pill bottles or paperwork - blurry. That is what I need them for! Not sure if its the Rx (new) or if the wrong lenses were put in. Going to have the lenses checked and will compare with the rx to see where to go to solve this problem. Customer service was better this time. read more

Worst Eyeglass shopping of my life. Went in with a pair of Oakley's that the lens popped out of. Now in fairness to them relocated from Utah 7 years ago and bought them there from the store in South Jordan Mall. I have bought a pair of Salvator Ferragamo glasses a pair of Scotts and about 5 other pairs over the years. Anyway the were busy so my 77 year old mother and myself both were in line I am 60 so no kid. Any way I told her what I needed and showed her my glasses and she went right to hateful I said no I did not but hoped since they have always assisted me with my eye glass needs. Well she took the glasses and rudely and said these cannot be fixed and pulled the loose out of the frame and said they are broken and cannot be fixed. Well I know better the have lenses like any other eye glass and lock and bond to the frame. I told her I was not looking for a freebie just to get this pair fixed. She said there was no way to fix them. I said there is no way or do you just not want to help me and to which she said yes. I was hot but held my cool and asked her if she knew of another shop that could fix these and she in a snotty tone said no. So Vison works after a loyal 15 years of service and business I must say good bye and good riddance never been treated so poorly in my entire life. Run from this Vision Works in The Woodlands Mall you will not get treated like a customer or anyone they value there time and money. Good by Vision Works and same to all my family and friends. This is now called Vision Works. HORRIBLE customer service. I came with my mom to get her yearly glasses. We got here on a Saturday right when they opened. We walked around and picked out her frames with no offer of assistance. After about 15 minutes we found the frames she wanted and we tried to find someone to help us. They were all huddled in the customer service booth having a meeting about numbers. Something I feel should have been done before the doors opened so that when there are customers in the store it can be about the customers. After standing around looking at them trying to get attention we finally approached them and said we were ready to order. Apparently an Eyewear Specialist had been assigned to her. Jamison T. Didn't even look up at us and "have a seat over there and I'll be right there". We sat with no further acknowledgement. A few minutes later, after the aforementioned meeting was over, he came over and never really greeted us and proceeded to ask if she'd been in before and looked her up. He said "hmmm, hold on" and walked away without explaining. After making a phone call he came back and said that the online system was down and would have to be faxback. Made no difference to us but would have been nice to know what was going on instead of just walking away. When he came back he was in a better mood seemingly. It improved slightly. I didn't give 1 star because of that slightly improved service. I have worked and managed retail before and would NEVER have had a meeting during store hours and at the expense of customer service. read more

I used to get my glasses here when I was in college and didn't have coverage for frames. Now it's called "Vision Works," and the entire staff was apparently laid off in the transition. The new manager seems more interest in staffing the store with attractive men and young girls she can gossip with than in individuals who are actually adept at customer service. I have had my glasses now for several months, and I am just as happy with them today as when I got them. I have been getting progressive lenses for about 10 years, and this is the first time they fit right. My eyes are not quite on the same level, one is higher than the other, and I always point that out to the person measuring the interpupillary distance and marking the "reading spot" on the glasses, but always before, at several different providers, they marked the wrong spot, and I would have to twist the frames all wonky to be able to read, even the really expensive glasses. But Zamantha at the Woodlands Mall location actually paid attention and did it right. My glasses fit perfectly, and I can see great! Zamantha was also very helpful coordinating my insurance and the then-current Visionworks special. If you go there, ask for her, because she will actually pay attention to what you say and what you want. read more
