I was really disappointed with my experience today. The two gentlemen working were very helpful and willing to see us as a walk-in since the office was empty. One even offered to start the pre-assessment right away. However, Layla (I believe that was her name) stopped him because they had an appointment coming, even though that patient hadn't arrived yet. We waited about 15 minutes before the appointment showed up, which was plenty of time to complete the pre-assessment. Our situation was somewhat urgent because my daughter's contact had fallen out and she didn't have a replacement. What bothered me most was the way Layla handled the situation and seemed to overrule the two employees who were genuinely trying to help. We are a family of nine and have brought a lot of business to this location. The last time we came, our entire family purchased two pairs of glasses each. Unfortunately, we also had an issue when it took nearly two months to be notified that my son's expensive sunglasses were ready. We gave this location another chance, but after today's experience, I'm very disappointed and we will not be returning. read more

Pedro will take good care of you. A freaking magician I went in with a pair of glasses that has a very particular design and tension system from Japan. He's never seem the design before but was still able to pull a few tricks from his old lab days to fix it. read more

Everything is amazing about Visionworks! They have the best customer service I have ever experienced getting a prescription and glasses ever. Plus, the prices were fantastic!! It is a way better experience than going to Costco. The place is clean and nicely decorated. They have plenty of help. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Pedro who was very professional , friendly and very helpful! Since I had an appointment I was taken in immediately. At Costco you can wait up to a half an hour to get helped. All the staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! Dora, the optical supervisor did all the prescreening procedures. She has the nicest manners ever...so polite and kind. She explained that they have a machine that scans your eyes and detects up to 250 diseases you could have. Who can't appreciate that device! Dr. James was wonderful! He was kind, patient and thorough. Vision Works has a great selection of glasses. I really like the additional 13 month plan you can purchase that covers scratches and damages. When I went to pick up my glasses I was so happy with the fit and quality. Brianna did such a great job of making sure they would fit just right when I picked them up. The whole process here is a pleasure! I highly recommend this establishment! read more

This office is new (it still smells very new too!) and closer to me, so I was happy to find it. I've been going to VisionWorks for 7 years (across 3 states) and I appreciate how seamless the experience is (from scheduling an appointment online, completing paperwork and checking out). The entire staff was friendly, informative and made the experience enjoyable. Dora took care of the pre-exam. She was very personable and insightful on eye care and carefully explained each assessment. I could tell she enjoyed her role in helping and educating patients through their exams. Dr. Abel was friendly, knowledgeable and took his time to hear any questions I had. My vision did not change but I decided to get prescription sunglasses. Jessica was very kind in showing me the selection and then helping me finalize all the paperwork (and answering my questions). Overall, I'm glad I found this new location and look forward to being a loyal customer. read more

Customer service is great, they're open on weekends and late evening - which ia great. It did take a bit for the service to get completed, But I also had a problem with my billing/ insurance that they took the time on their end to correct for me. Dora & the doctor and the front office were great. Huge selection of glasses & I am so picky, but they choose glasses for me that were absolutely perfect. Took my RX over to Visionworks and I am so glad I did! At your eye dr it is usually so much higher. I did not have insurance but got the best glasses ever, so excited to go get them! The place is beautiful and clean and bright and welcoming. I would have had my exam there but I did not know they were even in San Dimas. Pedro helped me order 3 glasses...and the price was fantastic! Coupons and specials he applied for me. Not pushy or try to up-sell. They let you lead the way. He was very thorough and knowledgeable...that is what you want. My old eye dr did not measure when getting my glasses, or take enough care doing what they should do! I trust them 100%. Get over there and get your exam and glasses, you will be so happy you did. Many styles to choose from, I just can't wait to get them! Get the right glasses, lenses, coatings, etc etc. Sunglasses that have UV protection, thin lenses, I could not be happier. They know their stuff. DO NOT BOTHER UNLESS YOU HAVE ALL DAY!!!!!!! 3 HOURS to get a prescription and order glasses!!!!! Then I was dumb enough to go back and try to order additional glasses 2 weeks later!! (The prescription is great and the optometrist as well. Staff are super helpful and friendly) Their system glitches ...over and over. They use tablets not computers. It's a mess!!!! I left with them still trying to get the system to take a coupon code to order the glasses!! After an hour!!! After another hour at home they called and I could complete my order. So 2 hours to get the glasses ordered. Customer service took my call but again ......waiting for them to call back! So if you have ALL DAY- GREAT. IF NOT-HORRIBE!!! They HAVE TO DO BETTER!!!
