I had an excellent experience at this Vision Works on Kendall Drive. Blanca attended to me. She is very professional and knowledgeable, about the different types of frames and lenses. She also broke down in detail, all the customized items for my glasses with different options according to my budget. This was very helpful to me. There was a discount special going on, so I ended up buying two pairs of glasses, one of them being sunglasses. All very affordable with the help of my VSP insurance plus the Vision Works store promotion. To say the least, I left a very happy customer! Thank You Blanca ! Thus, I will not hesitate to return to this Vision Work store, for my future Eyecare needs. read more

The staff is friendly but not very good. I come from a 3rd world country, and they would never hand me back a pair of glasses full of technicians fingerprints! The staff is doing the bare minimum possible and hurriedly go back to watching their phones or chatting. Definitely needs a good supervisor in the Kendall branch. I will not buy another pair here. It takes no time to wipe off lenses after fixing a pair of glasses! read more

I was greeted at the door and directed to the doctor's sign in area and told that I could have a seat or look at frames until I was called. Everyone was very helpful, informative, and friendly! Dr. Giurato has always been able to prescribe the right prescription to solve my unique vision problems and meet my needs. This Visionworks is special! Tony the manager has everything running smoothly and the atmosphere is relaxed, yet businesslike. I like that I am always greeted when I enter the door. Rachel has been helping me for over two decades because she has an amazing talent at helping me select frames and she knows her stock well! This results in my happily being able to sport new and different looks as styles change. Like I always told my students and friends (who I always referred to Rachel,) "Glasses are eye candy for your face!" You have to have fun. It always helped our elementary school students to feel more comfortable wearing their new glasses. I am lucky to have Rachel helping me and the management by Tony at this store! Thank you Visionworks! read more

Visionworks - A photo of me with my most recent glasses. I love the Kate Spade frame Rachel found for me! - Optometrists Near Me - Miami, Florida

I took my mother to see Dr. Pardinas. Doctor was very thorough. She took her time explaining everything several times. Excellent service.

No point in making an appointment. I have a very challenging schedule and also provide medical care (requiring appointments) so I've come to have a certain expectation of people respecting others' times. I made an appointment here and 40 minutes later I was still seeing walk-ins being taken before me...which obviously delayed my appointment. I don't think a 40 minute wait in the waiting area and 35 extra in the room for an eye exam is aceptable nor considerate of those who made the effort to set things up prior. I left without being seen as I had taken time off my work schedule to complete this and after a total wait time of ONE HOUR and FIFTEEN minutes my time was up!!! Also note this was a weekday appointment...I say this to place it in perspective as I can only envision weekend are more challenging. Care is okay, nothing bad but nothing to write home about either. I picked this place as my insurance changed and out of convenience....wish my old provider would be in network....also a chain, but respectful of your time. Don't see how an appointment serves any purpose here...disappointed! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE!!!! read more

It's such a shame the way the girls that work the Doctor's desk treat you when you call in to make an appointment. No skills whatsoever. They are plain rude and leave you on hold forever They give you a courtesy discount when you have an insurance plan without dental coverage but they won't give you a discount if you self pay. read more

Kendall Drive and 117th, Miami Excellent service . We had the pleasure of dealing with Rachel amazing and professional employee. A breath of fresh air, you hardly find this kind of customer service anywhere, anymore. She definitely went above and beyond. read more

I love this place. I've been coming here for over 10 years and bring the family. Remember, the doctor in the back is a separate business from the front of the store and although he's not Mr Personality, he got my Rx right after surgery when Bascom-Palmer had made a mess of it. So, I trust him. Service here is good and they always look to help you on pricing. I highly recommend this place. read more

Went there last week with my mom. We had appointments at 11:15 and 11:45. We got there at 11 and weren't helped till 11:30. We finally saw the doctor around 12 and got to get out of there by 2pm. not sure what takes so long for a simple eye exam. I've gone to other places and have been taken care of in less than an hour. I even told them I had to be at work by 1:30 hoping it would hurry the process. Luckily i was already in uniform and work across the street. Will definitely look into a different place for my next eye exam. the only reason they're even getting 2 stars is because my glasses were ready next day since they already had my lenses in stock. read more

Went to pick up my glasses yesterday & they are perfect . I've been a longtime Visionworks client for Optical services & glasses for many, many, many years. Their products, sales & customer service is top notch. This is why I'm a longtime client. I want to send a special thanks to Rachel, the Optical Supervisor, for the excellent customer service she provided to me & other customers in the store. She was very patient, informative & professional when ordering my glasses. She also assured they fit and were perfectly made when I picked them up. Also, thanks to Gabriel, an Optical Supervisor, for contacting immediately once my glasses were ready for pick up. As well, thanks to Tony, the General Manager, for assisting me with the checkout process. I'm very grateful to everyone for your assistance & professionalism. I am in love with my glasses . I highly recommend Visionworks to anyone of any age. read more

Not a walk in the park. Very discriminating. Me being an African American individual I was not offered the same quality care as others. Even when you have an appointment you're still going to wait about an hour and a half. Very cleaned and organized but personally did not feel welcomed. read more

Was in a HUGE need of contacts, came in the same day without an appointment and was hoping I could be helped in any way since I was driving and only had one contact in. Joyce was sweet enough to assist me with my need and made the process quite easy and quick despite the volume of calls they were receiving and patients they were dealing with. Thank you so much to this VisionWorks and especially Joyce! read more

We called for an appt and we're very courteous. Arrived and filled the forms. When we checked they tiles us we were next. Well my wife went, then they called another client and I'm still sitting outside? Important to note that we had an 11:45 and 12 appt. wife went in 12:30 and I'm next still waiting... Wow! read more

Got an appointment for same day, which was great because I did some damage to my eye with a hair brush and I feared an infection coming on. My appointment was at 10:40 and though getting me started took a bit longer than expected (about 25 mins) I was just glad to be seen. The optometrist was polite and did well at checkup. I wish he would have been a bit more personable, as he comes across as very "down to the point", but I was really in need of having my eye checked and he did just that. He gave me the facts and recommended treatment. I am keeping one star for wait time, lack of parking, and room for a more personalized doc/patient experience, but it was a good visit, overall. read more

Horrible company. My dad and I had gone here for years and about 5 years ago he spent $400 on 2 glasses for me. Unfortunately i lost one 2 years ago and the other is broken beyond repair. They are also outdated so I figured to buy some new ones online (not from Visionworks). I called in the other day to get the prescription and they have "no history" of us ever being there. How do you not have records of your clients from 2014?? Everything is computerized. I don't know if they are lying or clean their computers out after a certain amount of years but That's absurd because i will not pay hundreds of more dollars just to take another eye exam to pay THEM more money for new glasses. read more

pls note that as of 05/10/13, they are planning to relocate very soon from their current location at The Palms (NW quadrant of the kendall dr & 117 ave intersection) to the SE quadrant of the same intersection where the Food Spot used to be next to the dry cleaners. came in w my better half to get her annual eye exam done and to get her new glasses and rx for her contacts... the eye doctor (Dr. Graham) here also works out of The Falls location... he is very nice and talks very gently so for the ladies, don't think that he's trying to whisper sweet nothings into your ear... all kidding aside, it's very convenient to have an optometrist on-site so basically it's a one-stop shop for glasses/contacts... there is ample waiting area almost too much but great for kids to run amok so that they can expense some of that kid energy before getting home... the main showroom is nice too and pretty well organized... for some reason, i like the falls location better because i felt they had better selection there and that location is actually smaller... go figure! we had the pleasure to meet melissa who was a manager at the falls store but was transferred over to help manage and oversee the relocation and eventually she is slated to manage her own store soon... congrats! the service was not bad but i did feel that from both my experience and that of my better half, there main objective here is to upsell always... no matter what... while they may have that special offer of buy one get one free glasses running in what seems every month, do keep in mind that before all is said and done, it's definitely nothing cheap... make sure to check and see if they accept your insurance as that may help you save some... as we thought that this being a franchise, the prices would be more competitive but as it turns out, it is all about the same and sometimes even more than a privately owned shop... btw, i was told by my insurance BCBS-FL that this location had state-of-the-art equipment for eye exams but as it turns out, it is all the same so go to one closest to you... the one thing I did find different is that this location has eye exams available well into the evening while the sunset location did not and their latest appt was at 4pm there is plenty of parking and it's free! the bathrooms are location past the eye exam rooms and for the most part decent... read more

10/10 recommend this store! Gabriel was extremely helpful, super nice, and very knowledgeable. My fiancé came in to check if his glasses still had warranty and they did! We were greeted and helped immediately read more

Elan and the front desk staff at Visionworks were extremely helpful! They helped me get a great deal on my new glasses and picked out many styles for me to try on. I'm super appreciative! I just walked out of my appointment with their in-site Optometrist. This is my third visit and I never wait less than an hour to be seen by the Dr. It's just rude and unprofessional to think it's ok for patients to wait this long to be seen. Appointment times should be honored. I was told I was next in line when I showed concern about the wait and the Dr called in two patients after that. Absolutely don't recommend getting your eyes checked here. read more

Wonderful staff. Everyone I met was very courteous, They take walk ins for vision tests as well as appointments. Gabriel was very professional and knew just how to pick out the right glasses for me. I find this so annoying. I come here once a year for my regular exam and each time I am asked to fill out the same forms. With information that hasn't changed, I specifically told them my information is still the same and I still have to fill out 4 forms that contain the same exact information. I understand if they ask you if your info has changed and then you give them new info... it it's just such a waste of time. This will be my last visit. Not to mention how messy it is in here. Not a pleasant experience. read more

What a piece of Garbage , Anthony has no respect for Patient he thinks he is a Dr. And all he's does is work the front desk. I really like this location. Even though it's a little far from where I live, I go out of my way because the customer service is excellent. I came to this place to be prescribed for glasses and contact lenses. Firstly, the ophthalmologist was indifferent with me, but at the time of the consultation, he improve his attitude towards me. The selection of glasses is minimum and cheap (China). When I pick up the glasses and contact lenses, nor I was offered new products to use with my new contact lenses. (By what I see that I'm going to use what I have.) The consultation with the ophthalmologist I give you 4 point, products to select from 2 points and customer service 2 points, to many paper works. read more

Having glasses and needing contacts is never a pleasant thing. Getting your prescription renewed, ordering contacts before your next big event, the amount of money your insurance doesn't cover -- it's never easy. BUT at this Visionworks on Kendall it's ALWAYS a pleasure. It's always EASY. It's always a breeze. Today Rachel only proved it again. I went to her almost in tears because my glasses had broken and my fur baby had taken a bite out of them, leaving my glasses "unfixable". From the moment I walked in today, she gave me a smile and helped me throughout it all. Finding a new pair. Checking if my insurance had any discounts. Walked me through all the steps of getting new ones. She even made sure I got my new pair today! The same day! It was such a pleasure being there with her, even with me asking a bunch of questions. Rachel was a great help and an excellent example of what kind of customer service this Visionworks provides for me always. Thank you Rachel and to the rest of the team! read more
