I do not recommend this business at all, it has gone downhill fast! I took my daughter in September 21, 2024 and supposedly an order was placed for new glasses and contacts. Usually the contacts come in a two or three days but I followed up two weeks after. It looks like the order was not placed as after I called I received a receipt. As of today, March 31 2025, 6 months after our appointment I have not received her glasses. I called a few times to check up on the order and the young man that answered was so rude. I was placed on hold for more than 30 minutes and when I called back he hung up on me. If you value your time and respect take your business elsewhere. read more

If I could give a 0 star I would. From the second I walked into the place I was greeted by a rude lady. After a few minutes of talking to her and her attitude, I decided these place was not for me. I said thanks but don't worry about it. I turned around and started to walk out. The lady followed me out and started belittling me and slammed the door behind me. I am so glad I left. Very unprofessional. This clinic is NOT FOR KIDS. Website advertising that the clinic is kid friendly. There is no wall with glasses for children. My daughter is nearsighted and was given the wrong prescription. Glasses took over a month before I finally got a message about it being ready. When we went to the office my husband and I asked her questions. Instead of her taking care of us in a room to answer our questions. She got very defensive and spoke to us regarding my daughter medical record in front of another patient waiting in the lobby. THIS IS A VIOLATION OF HIPPA. She even threatened to call the cops. When I asked for a refund, she told me to call my credit card company because she was not going to refund us. First of all I got to my appt like 10 minutes early and they brought me in 10 minutes after my appointment time. I wanted to check what kind of glasses they had before I took my exam because if I didn't like them I wouldn't have done my exam there, but the doctor said I couldn't see the glasses cause she was on a tight schedule. I was the only patient there and she took me in 10 minutes after my appt time how tight could the schedule have been? The actual exam did not last long at all and I was not comfortable with the speed she tried getting it done. I was clearly hesitant of my results but she was in another world, barely concerned with me. She left me in the room while my eyes dilated for a while to eat McDonald's and didn't explain what I was waiting for, this was my first eye appt I went to by myself. Now I have to jump through hoops to figure out how to get another exam somewhere else cause my insurance won't cover a second one. Also, the little receptionist boy went through my medical records to find my number and kinda harassed me over text cause he thought I was "bad asf". DO NOT COME HERE! My friend who is an elderly lady was mistreated by Ms. Espinoza for simply asking about the difference between certain procedures. My friend went to see her in April 2021. Before the incident, my friend said Ms. Espinoza was being short and rude with her so my friend asked her if she was felling tired as to understand why she was being so awful with her. Ms. Espinoza rudely yelled at her and told her to "get out" multiple times and to leave the store. My friend left and when she got to the car in tears was having heart palpitations and shaking. I would highly recommend any other optometrist before stepping foot in Ms. Espinoza's office. She does not know how to treat clients with care and respect. Shame on you Lori Espinoza for mistreating this elderly lady. You should be ashamed of yourself. You will not succeed if you treat customers so poorly. Dr. Espinosa is very unprofessional, rude and lacks customer service. We paid over $700 and none of the glasses were to satisfaction. The prescriptions were inaccurate "that's what happens when you are getting older", one of the frames broke "too old", a pair of frames got lost and after three weeks of waiting were found "not even an apology". We visited another eye doctor and after looking at the glasses and confirming the lousy work, we were able to acquire good reading glasses, but at a very high cost!!! Super retro, location looks like it hasnt been renovated since the 2000. Waiting room felt like my grandmother's house. But over all very fast and super professional, I was in and out in 45 minutes. Not enough selection in glasses to choose from in my case but I left super satisfied. I made an appointment for my parents with Humana Medicaid and I gave the receptionist their insurance number and they told me that they are covered here in this office. I came to the appointment and after an hour of waiting and waiting they finally told me that they don't show up in the system and they don't cover their insurance. This is such a great waste of time for me and my parents. They could have checked the insurance verification before our appointment and I already provided all the information for them. The office manager left the office and she wasn't even there for me to complain or ask them for the reason that this inconvenience happens. I don't recommend this place at all. Also from the office appearance itself I really wouldn't want to go there. read more

kendall eye center is the worst and i mean the worst eye doctor to go to if 0 stars was an option i would've put that instead... dr espinosa is not worthy at all to be telling anyone what is going on with their eyes she is incompetent and irresponsible i have been going there with my mom since i was 6 i'm 17 currently so u can see why my review should be taken very seriously. i started using contacts my freshman year and ever since every time i go to make a re order i spend half the time trying to make my contacts i have left last and hoping she won't take 2-3 months again with my order she leaves important tasks and responsibilities to and employee who goes by kevin and if u read this kevin quit u are unworthy and not any way capable of helping others they will never receive any money from me again i promise you that. She also was very aggressive when speaking to my grandmother when she was just simply calling to figure out what was taking so long with the order as she is one of my guardians i live with. my insurance has never offered full coverage for the contacts every single time that I order but now all of a sudden she has seem to forgotten that after 4+ years of me ordering contacts under her my insurance provides $150 for the contacts and I pay the difference this is not a recommended place for anyone to go to especially if you were trying to go to a safe friendly happy welcoming environment so please look into other places as I've been going to her for a while now and I can guarantee you that she will never be seeing this face again read more

If I can give this clinic ZERO 0 I would. This place is horrible and their other center by baptist hospital which is worse. This was the 2nd and last time I came. First they don't call to confirm appt for the next day. Also they never answer the phone when you have questions or need the contact script. I received by email the wrong script 3 times. Friday I went to my second appt. Kevin the receptionist said my insurance was pulled by another clinic and I couldn't be seen. Stated he call and their isn't anyone to help reverse the authorization. I called the insurance and he told me the doctor was leaving in 12 min. After being told to come earlier I arrived 20 min early. I called the clinic that pulled my insurance they never got any authorization as I was never seen. They wore in a hurry to close. Doctor passed right by me and didn't even say anything. I'm 7 months pregnant drove 40 min to get to this clinic. Never again. What a piece of shit place. So unorganized. The receptionist need to be changed. The insurance should of been pulled the day before, not make me waste gas, tolls and time not to be seen. Then he tells me to pay for the consult and get reimbursed by the insurance company. Are you serious? Or are you stupid? How long would it take to get my money back or even get it back......this place is a joke. Never again. I will make sure to tell everyone I know and post in every social media. Reading previous reviews I can say I was very unhappy with my visit. I went in for glasses and contact lenses, I provided my insurance beforey visit to see what was my coverage. They took my info and called me the next day telling me I was good to go that my insurance would cover both exams, the visit took two hours. She said I should use some drops for my allergies. After my visit they told me my insurance did not cover they were over charging me said my insurance was granted because of my "situation" (pregnancy) in front of every other patient. I felt embarrassed and she didn't even note me the eye drops name for my allergies. I left there AMD went somewhere else without apt paid $5 cheaper and finished everything in 40 mins. Was soo happy after my initial visit with Dr. Espinosa, I referred my sister and her two children to her establishment. Little did I know what a NIGHTMARE this would turn into. Based on the Dr. Espinosa's recommendation, I opted for progressives but i couldnt adapt to them., so after a month of going back and forth for adjustments, I decided to get single vision. Low and behold, when I go and pick up my glasses, I can barely see the clerk behind the counter. Since then I've been in contact with the office manager (Heidi) who is as rude as I don't know what. Needless to say, three months have passed and i still dont have my glasses. NO, I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND KENDALL EYE CENTER TO ANYONE ELSE. Please excuse any typos, I can't see!
