I was actually crying on the phone because I was so frustrated, and she could not have been kinder. She told me to take my time, listened to everything that had happened, and told me to come in and that they would make it right. That alone meant so much to me. Skye and the manager, Janet, were absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Their location advertises the same satisfaction guaranteed, no questions asked policy, and they actually stood behind it. I went back to my eye doctor three times while we worked through adjustments to my prescription, and Valle Verde replaced my lenses twice without making me feel like I was a problem. Skye kept telling me to come back if something still wasn't right and that they would keep working with me until I was satisfied. And they did. This is the Pearle Vision location I will be going to from now on. Janet and Skye treated me with patience, compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. After the experience I had at Sunset, the difference was unbelievable. They truly deserve recognition, and I plan to make sure their leadership knows what an exceptional job they did. Thank you, Janet and Skye, for turning such a stressful experience into such a positive one.

For some odd reason the Pearle Vision we go to near our home (which is also very close to Galleria…read moreMall) was completely booked of appointments until mid September (I tried making the appointment in early July) so we came to this location instead. To be quite honest, I might just start coming to this location from now on, I liked it that much. The space is large and there is a lot of room to walk around freely, especially if you are browsing the glasses. The patient rooms are also larger, with a chair if you have someone with you at your appointment. This goes for the testing rooms too. It wasn't as hot in these ones compared to the other location because it was bigger with more space and a nice oscillating fan. Checking into our appointments was super easy and we didn't have to wait long to be called back. The doctor I saw was absolutely fantastic. She was easy to talk to and understood my eye issues immediately. My husband also saw her and he said the same thing. Checking out was super easy. The only issues I have are the CC fee (which I understand but don't have to like) and there could be more seating for people who are waiting for appointments.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Pearle Vision location. I brought in my own frames…read moreand prescription to have new lenses installed, but when I got them back, everything was extremely blurry. My old lenses were actually much better, so I knew something was wrong. I called to ask about their satisfaction guarantee because there is a sign in the store that says satisfaction guaranteed and no questions asked, and their website states the same thing. The first employee I spoke with was very nice and told me the manager would call me back. The manager never called. When I called again, I spoke with Alma. I found her extremely rude and condescending. Every time I asked what the guarantee covered, her answer was basically no. She told me that if my prescription had changed, they were not going to replace the lenses, and if the problem was not their fault, they were not going to replace them. She kept telling me to go back to my doctor and repeated that they would not redo the lenses. After hearing no over and over again, I was left wondering what their "satisfaction guaranteed, no questions asked" policy actually guarantees. At one point I asked for her name and thought she said Ana. She responded, "A-L-M-A. It's just four letters." That completely unnecessary comment gives you a good idea of the tone of the conversation. She also told me the manager already knew about the situation but was not going to call me back because I "wouldn't like the answer." I had specifically asked to speak with the manager and never received a call. I eventually went to the Pearle Vision at 75 S Valle Verde Dr. after my neighbor recommended them. She had also had a bad experience at this location and told me the Valle Verde location had taken very good care of her. They did the same for me and worked with me until my lenses were right. I understand that prescriptions sometimes need to be adjusted. My issue is how I was treated when I asked for help and tried to understand a guarantee they advertise both in the store and on their website. I would not return to this location, and I suggest to go to the Valle Verde location who showed me that this situation could have been handled with professionalism, respect, and a genuine effort to help the customer.

I finally remembered to call them to see where my glasses where and it turns out they never sent them, since they lost the prescription data, and they didn't call me back immediately to get it redone. I had to call them to figure this out. To add insult to injury, when I asked them why they didn't contact me, they had the nerve to tell me that "because my info was in the computer that crash", but they still had my hand-written information that I entered and had all my contact info. I did get my test redone and now I'm waiting for my glasses (everything was already paid). Never, ever, lie to your customer/patient. I'm also very concerned that the crash may have been a hack, and that my and other patients' info is out there (social security, etc).

I love coming here because the staff is always readily available. Usually when I come here, it's only me and maybe 2-3 other people tops. Paperwork is texted to you prior to the appointment so the front desk is super efficient. I also like how they explain all their policies, including a late fee or no show fee! I can't remember the cost of it, but I do like offices that have these policies so people are accountable and not just taking up appointments. Anyways as soon as I got checked in, I was lead into the room to the 3 basic machine tests, including the eye pressure machine that puffs air into your eyes. The staff was very patient with me as I had to repeat a few times and couldn't keep my eye open. From there, I saw Dr Shimizu who also asked how everything has been, asked clarifying questions, compared my results from last time, and had me read out some letters, plus look at my eyes with his bright light. After that, I got walked to the front again where the staff explained to me my eye coverage insurance and also explained the sales/specials that were going on. I ended up leaving with a new pair of $500 glasses. I didn't plan on spending that much but it's been 5 years since I had a new pair. I also got all the bells and whistles with the lens including blue light and anti glare. I figured the 50% off special helped me save a few bucks. I've been going here for years and this is my first pair of glasses from them, I usually only purchase contacts. So again, if a clean office, great staff, and patient doctors is what you're looking for, go here! You don't need to buy glasses or contacts, but the appointment experience is priceless!

The Tiffany frames here average $100 less than LC. The selection is limited but they do have some of the best traditional or trendy frames represented. My fave were the Valentino ones. Service was great. The techs are pretty skilled and did accurate measurements. They were pretty attentive and didnt feel rushed despite how busy they were. My wait time was about 20 minutes I think, but didnt feel that long since I made use of that time to try on glasses on my own, The optical department is right in front, as you walk in through front entrance. Make sure you you grab a ticket first by cash register and wait for your number to be called. Don't forget to bring your medical info to see if you are covered...but even without insurance, the frames and lens will still be even cheaper than what you would pay over at LC with insurance! Crazy! Bring your patience though cause you'll have to to put up with the aggressive drivers in parking lot and grouchy customers. Lovely personality traits right there.
