I have written many reviews over the years and my guiding principle is to write something positive if there is something positive to say otherwise I do not post a review. But as this concerns a matter of personal health and wellness, I'm posting this two star review for this business. I went to this establishment recently (in September 2025) for a routine eye exam and I sure wish I had read the lowest reviews first. One positive: I was seen on time by a Dr. Ayysha but before that, the office manager, did some "intake tests", such as checking pressure in the eyes and also doing, rather ineptly (one eye had to be redone) the retinal imaging. What qualifications she had (besides referring to a chart on the wall of what is the correct position of the eye), I have no idea. Dr. Ayysha performed a very perfunctory exam and appeared in sloppy non-professional (IMO) garb, as if she had just come back from a workout. She was personable, there's another positive. I asked for the retina scan photos to be sent to me in files (which a previous provider had done) and was told by the office manager that she didn't know how to do that and people usually take a photo with their phones. I asked Dr. Ayysha if she could get the scans sent to me and she said that the OM would "try to find out" how to do that. I'll check back in a week if I don't receive anything but I'm not optimistic. Finally, I tried on various frames and before leaving remarked that many of the frames are dirty (meaning, smudged, dusty, etc.). They obviously hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. The not-the-office manager guy just said 'thank you". OK, well then. I won't know if anyone cleaned the frames because I won't be returning to this business for new glasses. read more

I wish there were zero stars for this location. I went there yesterday for an eye exam. The receptionist woman was extremely rude and discourteous. The optometrist Alexa Ayyash was very disrespectful and dismissive of my questions. She seemed to be in great haste to simply hand me a prescription and see me off with minimal effort. Wasn't she getting paid for her job? She acted as if each request or question was a burden to her time. I felt disrespected for every question or request I made. I will now have another exam and have to pay out of pocket for it. I am so extremely disappointed to have wasted a visit with her. There is high degree of unprofessional attitude and lack of respect for clients. I don't recommend anyone to schedule eye exams with Vision works, as there is total lack of respect, understanding and empathy for clients in both certain staff and doctors here. Came in for an eye exam and was greeted by Caitlyn at the front desk, who was unhelpful and seemed annoyed that we were asking questions. We considered leaving, but since we had already set aside time, we stayed for the exam. The eye doctor was thorough and explained results, but the experience with the receptionist left a bad impression. With so many other eye clinics to choose from, we won't be coming back. The company should really focus on retraining their front desk staff, as they are the first point of contact and should represent the clinic with professionalism and good customer service. read more

I have been seeing the optometrist Alexa Ayyash for two years now and every visit has been excellent. She is incredibly thorough with her exams, takes time to answer questions, and makes sure you feel comfortable and cared for. The associates Kim and Grace were also wonderful- very friendly and patient while helping me pick out glasses, which made the whole process stress-free and enjoyable. Overall, the care and customer service here are great, and I'll definitely continue coming back. read more

My family come here for all our eye glasses. This shop has a large selection of frames to choose from based on your face shape. Jacob would give us recommendations about choosing the right type of lenses based on our prescription. Jacob is the best! read more

Was able to get an appointment quickly when I called. Plenty of affordable, good-looking frames to choose from. Was helped by Rayne, who was very pleasant and professional. Got the glasses in 2 weeks and am very happy. For years I'd gone to a place on the other side of town that has a (deservedly) great reputation for service, but Visionworks, is closer, just as service- oriented, and much better on frame prices. read more

While Dr Claire herself and the staff are pleasant and competent there is no way to get through on the phone to the store or to a live person which creates many problems and is an ongoing source of frustration. You literally have to drive there in person to be able to speak with anyone. The phone system forces you to their website system which is highly restrictive and inadequate w no human help. "Chat" help is lie. Local store numbers feed into this generic number where there seems to be no one ever available to answer and the auto assist is extremely limited and cannot provide real help or do anything other than the most basic task, and they don't provide a call back service which would be better customer service since they are feeding all phone traffic into one place. They desperately need to invest in their infrastructure which is inadequate with no options. Very dissatisfied and stuck having to use them - will be asking our benefits office to change provider options for the future. read more

Just received my new glasses in the mail, and I Love them! This was the first time I've had to order my prescription & frames without going into the actual store, due to the mandatory quarantine.The young lady that assisted me was named Elizabeth. She walked me into placing my order, and contacting the manufacturer for the frames I wanted. We were finally able to get the order submitted. Elizabeth was very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond, and made sure my glasses came with the case. The most awesome staff I've ever met!! They were so helpful. Doctor is nice and helps you understand why you are being prescribed your glasses and worked really well with getting me fitted for my contacts. When I returned with my sons the ladies were super helpful and took time to help them pick out some pretty cool glasses. Would recommend all day long!! read more

If I could give a negative star count, I would! I went in for an eye exam. Before going in, I already knew that I used the same prescription for both my eyes. Upon completion, the doctor gives me a different prescription for my right eye. Her explanation was that she wanted to "under correct" it. Fine...no big deal right? The very next day I caught a huge migraine! I thought that it could have been a lack of sleep or maybe I wasn't eating enough. I continued to have them for about three weeks (every day). I went into Vision Works and explained that I believed the contact lenses were the cause of my migraines. I scheduled an appointment to see the doctor the following week. I was also told by the associate to call just to confirm my appointment. I called and spoke with the same associate I saw in store and she told me a trial in my main prescription would be ordered, so everything seemed all well. The day of my appointment I call the store and Kelly tells me that they couldn't find my appointment in the system because they had cancelled it and the trial that I was told would be ordered was no longer being ordered. This was all obviously a shock to me because I didn't receive one phone call or email explaining any of this to me. I tried to explain that the purpose of my appointment was to speak with the doctor, but all Kelly was trained to say was "your prescription has been confirmed so you can go ahead and order contacts..." Yeah ordering contacts doesn't help with my ongoing migraines that are being caused from the wrong prescription given to me by the doctor. Kelly also tells me that the doctor explained to me that I was given that prescription because mine was not in the store. That was a lie because the doctor never said that to me...it's safe to say I won't be returning to Vision Works. They are dishonest and incompetent. I'm most disappointed with all the wasted time I can't get back from dealing with them smh read more

I had a wonderful experience at Vision Works recently. I have been wearing glasses and contacts for more than 20 years and this was one of the best experiences I've had. The staff was very friendly from the moment I walked in the door.The optometrist was friendly and efficient. They were very helpful ordering the contacts and picking out new glasses. They were quick to call me when everything arrived. I will definitely be going back in the future. read more

AMAZING service! I totally recommend going here! After having a terrible experience at a different eye doctor, I called this location to see if I could get in soon for an appointment. I was able to get an appointment within 30 min! The receptionist on the phone, Rayne, was friendly, professional, and ended up helping me choose the perfect pair of glasses. Because of the last minute appointment, I had to bring my tired toddler in with me - I was dreading the potential for dirty looks. However, every single staff member was so sweet and helpful. One of the staff members, Kelli, even came into the eye exam with me and preoccupied my toddler while I got my eyes checked. The doctor was very professional and friendly. He explained everything to me and was very thorough. I felt very welcome and felt like I got great, quick service. Rayne was able to work with me and my insurance to get the best deal for glasses and contacts. Coming here was such a great experience and I will definitely come back. read more
