The great reviews for Excellence helped me pull the trigger on my decision on where I should go. Unfortunately, the salon was already closed for the night; however, they have a very simple online booking program so I was able to slide in for a next-day Saturday appointment. Woohoo! I met my hairstylist, Kristi, who was an absolute gem! I told her my embarrassing moronic story and she just smiled and said "I've been there," and offered me some wine. She checked out my hair and I was pleased to hear that she was going to be able to fix it very easily and explained what she was going to do. After a lovely shampoo, Kristi got to work with the shears; all the while, making small talk that made me increasingly more confident in her abilities, and much less stupid about my situation. Barely any time passed at all when Kristi was finished and my mane had been fully corrected. She gave me exactly what I asked for: fix this blunder in the least dramatic way possible. Kristi totally nailed it and even gave me her cell phone number in case I had any questions or concerns. If I lived here, Kristi would be my girl for life... I kind of want to take her home with me.
