Wherever I went, no one could get my vision right. When my husband said he found the best eye doctor ever, I was a bit skeptical; however, Dr. Nagel quickly turned that whole idea around in my head. The service at Vision Source West Sahara is outstanding. The staff is very nice and very helpful. They explained every instrument to me and told me what it was testing. When I got to the actual eye exam with Dr. Nagel, I was all excited. She explained to me that my vision was wary because of the colored contacts I had been wearing. No eye doctor had ever explained to me "why". She got my prescription all ready and fitted me for contacts. On my follow-up visit (which was free of charge) she fixed the axis of one of my contacts so that it wouldn't keep shifting very well. No one has ever spent actual time with me when I needed eye care, until now!! I am absolutely impressed and will always keep coming back to Vision Source for the rest of my eye care needs. Dr. Lee is very informative and he explained in detail to us how he was able to get such a great prescription and clearer sight than my Mother had experienced in years. He has an aberometer (Spelling is questionable) This is the technology from the Hubble space technology. The level of sight which they are now able to give is amazing. read more

I just can't see anything to fault with this business. Every time I go, there is never a long wait, all the people who deal with me from the receptionists, to the technicians, to the doctor and finishing up with the staff who helps you select glasses, are just flawless. Dr. Beckwith discovered a vision problem a couple of years ago and has followed up on it faithfully, including touching base with the specialist I see. Appointment reminders are sent by email and you can confirm them, plus you can fill out a patient profile on line, so that you save time when you arrive They just handle everything so smoothly and are real pros when dealing with insurance. This is a well-run and professional eye clinic. The front desk staff are friendly and courteous. They answer questions directly and are helpful if you have questions. I have had appointments with Dr. Lee and Dr. Nagel. I recommend them both. The doctors answer questions clearly, use language that most people can understand, and aren't intimidating. I get nervous about the tests used to check peripheral vision and for glaucoma, so I appreciate that the assistants are patient with me. Usually my nerves give me the giggles, so they can't do the tests when I am moving. The assistants usually let me relax for a few minutes, and then they repeat the tests however many times they need to to get results that are meaningful. They never seem to get irritated with me even though I know they have other patients as well. As a few other reviews have mentioned, the glasses can be expensive. However, the opticians will help you choose a moderately priced frame if you tell them what your budget is. One of the opticians found Coach frames for me -- they were last year's model, but I didn't care. The frames were in the budget range we had discussed and even better, they look great on me! Get the anti-glare coating. It's worth the cost. Come to Vision Source on West Sahara! Everyone in the clinic will make you feel like a million dollars. You'll leave knowing that your eyes are healthy and your glasses (or contacts) are right for you. read more

Horrible service and follow up. Glasses ordered on 6/27/16 and promised by 6/8/16. Not in on the 8th but promised by the 11th. Was out of town until the 15th. Came in to pick them up. After a lengthy wait, they said the glasses weren't in yet!!!??? Three full weeks? Amateurish and unprofessional. Nothing but apologies & excuses. A good doctor with a lackadaisical staff. I've never had to wait very long before being seen by the doctor. Staff is always helpful and very knowledgeable. Even when I brought in sunglasses bought elsewhere the staff was willing to help adjust them without charging. My future appointments have always been correct with multiple texts and a phone call to remind and confirm. Insurance billing is done accurately and efficiently. Dr. Mark Lee is just the best. He is UBER knowledgeable as well as professional! (Nice guy too!)... but the professionalism doesn't stop there! We (myself, daughter, husband) have been seeing doctor beckwith for years and have always been impressed with the service. He is efficient and will explain everything he is doing and seeing during the eye exam. Of course there might be a wait but where is there not? I think they have pretty good selection of glasses and there Are often 3 tech that are available to help with finding glasses and making sure you are getting what you want in eye wear. I would definitely recommend Dr beckwith. He is super nice and as another reviewer commented he remembers you even if you only see him once a year. read more

We had a very bad experience at this location. They must be giving a special discount for reviewing them on Yelp for 5 stars because the rating average on here is very hard to believe. My mother had been a patient here for over 7 years and everytime she's gone in for an appt to get new prescriptions on her glasses, there has been an issue. A lesson on customer service and communication needs to be taught to the gals up front as well as well as efficiency in the way complaints are taken care of. This alone serves as a reason to not come back. Something that was completely a lack of communication on the companies part, then got turned into my mother paying an extra $30 to correct a mistake which was not her fault. Oh...and did I mention this was a discount from the original $50 they were originally going to charge her? She only received this "discount" for asking to speak to the manager. A "discount" shouldn't even be a word used in an instance such as this. If a company fails to diclose information such as a lens not being suited for the frame chosen and then receiving a completely useless and faulty pair of glasses....a correction must be made at the companies expense. This is such a lack of professionalism and if I even get a response from this review, I would be very surprised. It's not a matter of whether it was $50, $30, or $5, it's a matter of accepting fault and ethically correcting it, especially from a companies stand point. It's a shame that they lost a patient of many years over something of such small value. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Beckwith for over a decade, and I've been seen by the other doctors when he's not available. They're all very GREAT doctors! The issue that I finally encountered was with the front office staff. I schedule my appointment months in advance, we'll they call me and say they had to reschedule me, fine. Me and the person I spoke with somehow could not find a date and time that would accommodate my work and school schedule. I called back to schedule and the person I spoke with says come in Feb 11, 2017 @ 9am. I show up and not only did they double book Dr. Beckwith but they forgot to schedule my appointment. The person at the front desk just had this look of entitlement and since they could not confirm my appointment, I must be lying. I've run out of my year supply of contacts, luckily for me I also have glasses, she didn't bother to offer a courtesy set of contacts to hold me over, just asked if I wanted to reschedule my appointment, no thanks I've been down that road of incompetence. It's time to move on. read more
