I wanted to take the time to leave another review due to having continued visits and positive interactions since my last review. We use Vision Source as our provider for my two year old sons glasses. He is special needs and tends to damage them quite frequently before we are able to intervene. Every time I go into this location I am greeted and welcomed. Every time I come in to warranty needed items, staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful in regard to expediting the process. Heidy processed my last warranty and was an incredible help and very polite. I picked them up today from Hunter (who always recognizes us when we walk in) and took the time to ensure that everything was in order before we left with our new glasses, even going above and beyond to hold the door open for us so I could push my son through in his wheelchair stroller. Vision Source has been my optometrist for years now. This year's annual check up, which fell during the coronavirus pandemic, still went smoothly and was satisfactory as usual. The office took necessary precautions, like enforcing the use of masks and taking people's temperatures. I only waited a couple minutes before being called in. Dr. Lee was very informative when it came to explaining how my eyesight had changed over the past year. He remembered that I had laser eye surgery two years ago and discussed with me possible options in the future, like LASIK, that I could benefit from. After the examination, I needed to choose a new pair of glasses while at the same time ordering new pairs of contacts. To do both is quite expensive, but Autumn was extremely helpful and patient in finding me the best deal. We went through multiple different plans and she helped me weigh the pros and cons of each. In the end, I ended up getting both glasses and contacts for a reasonable price with her help. Shoutout to Dr. Lee, Autumn, and the rest of the amazing staff at Vision Source. read more

Location is the best. Right near Boca Park. The optometrist here was so helpful and patient with my son. They have a huge variety of all sorts of different designer glasses and sun glasses. I love everything about Vision Source! From cleanliness and personable staff to the amazing doctors! My daughter had debris in her eye due to a very windy day. She suffered for 3 days. We went to 1 pediatrician who referred us to an ophthalmologist whom only masked the problem which temporarily eased some of her discomfort but it did not cure the initial problem. I took her to Vision Source without an appointment, they swiftly took her back where Dr. Lee came in and found the debris under her eyelid and gently removed it. I'm so grateful to Vision Source on how efficiently they handled the situation. I was even able to make it to work on time that morning! I'm a patient myself and was impressed with the large selection of eyewear and the thorough examination that I received. The prices are great too! read more

My eye appointment this year was very disappointing. The staff was wonderful, they were nice and not pushy in anyway. However, I felt my exam was super rushed. Dr. Nagel is very nice, but I wear progressive glasses, and the doctor never checked my near vision for changes, she just gave the same prescription as last year. If there was a reason for that, she did not explain it to me. It's upsetting because I really liked this office, however I will find somewhere else that is more thorough. read more

Its unfortunate that the girls in the front made my experiences difficult due to their attitude, because I honestly did like the 2 doctors I saw. I moved to Nevada, I needed an updated prescription. I did have to go in twice to get my eyes checked and that was not a problem. The eye doctors are great and very informative. My issue were the girls in the front, they are so rude. In person and over the phone. My boyfriend noticed it too when he called in to make an appointment. I have been so fustraded trying to communicate with them because they are snobby and just completely rude. I walked in one night and they all looked at me and no one said hi. It was 15 minutes before closing and they were trying to clean up. Picking up the trash bags. I literally just stood there watching them clean. There are other rude incounters I've had with these girls in person and over the phone. I do want to thank the supervisor that took over and helped me order my contacts. She took the extra step to send me home with another trial pack to hold me over until my contacts come in. But I will not be back. read more

This has been my eye doctor since I moved here. I have low vision and special eye care needs. I am so happy I found this place, even though it is far from where I live. I make it work. Dr. Nagel is amazing! She knows all about the eye and is also the one that can work with my prosthetic. She is very informative and they also got me set up with eye glasses for when i am tired of my contacts, or just to wear at home at night. I have gone her several times. This last time is important. I had broken a contact lens( I need to buy two at a time I swear) and since I had not been in a while I had to come in for a checkup. I was not able to see Dr. Nagel due to she was on vacation. I said " I will see anybody. I can't walk around with these glasses like this"! I wear thick glasses. So, i saw Dr. Beckwith. I got all the latest tests and I was seen rather quickly. My contact was measured and after checking to see if i needed a new script, I was on my way. I called a few days later and they said It was ready to pick up.. I wasn't able to pick it up, but they said I can have someone pick it up for me. So I told them who was coming and I am wearing them now. Everyone at the office has been amazing and patient and kind with me. I have not had anyone be rude to me not once there. I will be going back again soon to get another lens and to have my prosthetic looked at so we can get everything in place. Thank you Vision Source! read more

Seriously, I had the most thorough eye exam of my life, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, Dr. Nagel is knowledgeable but also time-conscious. They hooked me up with some contact dailies and a heating pad for my eyes! And the ladies were great in helping me choose the right frames for my new glasses. I came here about two weeks ago to get my eyes checked out and to pick up some desperately needed prescription sunglasses. The doctor I had an appointment with was running behind so Dr Nagel did my exam for me so I wouldn't have to wait long. Awesome customer service! After my exam I looked through their eyeglass selection.I thought they had much better choices than Eyeglass World. They have different glasses made by Dior, Coach, Prada and much more. I decided to get some Brown Juicy Coture sunglasses. I was hesitant about getting the anti glare lenses because I thought they would ruin the look of my gradient lenses. I would trade the look of gradient lenses for anti glare lenses any day now that I know how great they work. What you see on display is all they have . If you like something you shouldn't wait because they don't have extras in the back. I think it keeps the inventory fresh that way. my korean aunt had an eye exam, didn't buy glasses. she is on medicaid. while i was there with her i made my eye exam appointment, a front desk women made copy of my driver license and medicaid card. a appointment date is 3/31 845AM. on 3/30 i called the cancel the appointment, however, they do not have me on eye exam scheduled. i thought that was odd. afterward , i felt discriminated against my social status and color. this place looks clean and just smile at you, well look is deceiving. read more

We were on a weekend trip to Vegas, and in our rush to get to the city and lose all our money in the casinos my significant other forgot her contact lenses at home...nothing like seeing all of those lights as one big blur... So, the Saturday morning following our arrival we started calling offices around town for replacement lenses, but most places said they would charge for an exam and/or new lenses. Then we called Vision Source and not only did they say they had her prescription (of which she had an electronic copy) but they could give her a free short supply. When we arrived to their office not only did they refuse to allow us to pay for the free 3 day supply, but they apologized that they did not have 5 days worth of lenses to offer us. The said simply, "That's what we're here for." The staff was very sweet and pleasant. As we do not live in Vegas, this is likely a one time encounter with this business but one that left a great lasting impression! read more

As a patient, They take care of me here. They were flexible with me running a few minutes behind on my appointment. The doctor actually took the time to answer my random questions on how to prevent eye problems as far as my food diet. Go and see Dr. Lee !!!!! I been wearing glasses since I was 11 , my vision started getting worse from myopia , to astigmatism until I developed keratoconus. I spent thousands of dollars seeing incompetent doctors who just made me spend more and more on "fittings" , last doctor made me spend over 1000 dlls on useless hard contact lenses that hurt my eyes and keep pupping out in the middle of my day. I went to doctor Lee, I took my toric prescription and got a full eye exam, I have to say I love the staff everyone is very friendly and professional so eye doctor visits will be fun and not scary on how much they are going to over charge per every exam, and how much is going to hurt my eyes. Dr. Lee is amazing, also is a complete expert on toric , bifocal and sketchy prescription with very high powers like mine, I can't literally even leave my house without contacts, he just got it done the first time , didnt freak me out about the keratoconus and he was so open minded because he is a very prepared doctor, he fitted me on color contacts as well , special order for me, and clear ones for comfort while i work at the salon with hair spray, hair color, bleach and lots of chemicals. I can't say enough great things about this place. The doctors are great and they really take lots of measurements with tons of equipment. Your eyes get examined, not just a quick look at an eye chart. And the staff....spectacular! Mark helped me and went above and beyond and well, he is the reason I am writing this review. I probably wouldn't have taken the time, but when you find people who help you and give you wayyyyy more than is necessary, it really deserves a shout out. I have seen Drs. Lee and Nagel and I like them both. They have at least 3 doctors who work here, so you can always get an appointment. I had an emergency and they fit me in immediately. The only down side is they aren't cheap. However, the lenses I have received from them aren't close to what you get at the big places. The lenses are far superior. You are going to be wearing your glasses all day, every day. Spend the extra 20 cents a day or whatever the extra money adds up to. It is worth it. The place itself is very nice, quiet, and super clean. They have a good selection of glasses too. Probably not quite as many as the big huge places, but they have most of the higher end brands. This isn't a mall store. You won't find 30 people standing around waiting. At most, I have seen 5 other people in the store at one time. Did I mention how totally amazing Mark was? :) He fixed a problem I had when he didn't have to: Fabulous customer service! Better than that, though, he is extremely knowledgeable. I was having a vision problem that I didn't understand, and he explained why it was happening and what would fix it. In a world where so many people know less than you do when you walk into their place of business, Mark really understands optics. Convenient location in Summerlin. The optometrist who took all my initial measurements of my eyes, Rachel, was extremely friendly. Apparently I don't know my left from my right eye and covered the wrong one though. I blame Monday's. But she was excellent and we had a laugh about it. The doctor who came in after who did the more thorough eye exam after was extremely knowledgeable and friendly as well. She answered all of my questions and then some and gave me some samples as I was running low on daily contacts and needed some to get me by before my work trip. I damaged my glasses that I absolutely loved from here and recently moved out of state . I was so devastated because I had just gotten them and of all the years I've had to wear glasses these were THE pair. I had bent my glass frames and badly needed my frames adjusted. I stopped into the Vision Source on W. Sahara in the Lakes Business Center. It was a bit difficult to find the way to their front door, but it was well worth the search. Though not a customer they instantly greeted me, straightened my bent frames taking their time to properly adjust them to my satisfaction and refused any payment. I was so impressed by that visit and service my wife and I scheduled an appointment to have our eyes examined there several weeks later. In the over 60 years I've worn glasses over 60 neither of us experienced such a thorough eye examination. At first I was very very impressed with the service. They checked me in and in just few minutes after filling out the paper works they already called me for the check up. This facility is well organized and Jason was very nice and very professional. Dr. Nagel was awesome too. She was very detail about my eye health and explained everything I have to know and understand. I was very happy until I checked out and the lady in the Eye glasses area told me that I owe them $79 when supposedly they should only charge me $20 because the insurance covers the check up. They told me that only the comprehensive eye check up is covered and the contact lens check up is not covered. I did not argue and just paid them and it went downhill when they told me the insurance will only cover either glasses or contacts. But that's not what my insurance said. They always cover both with certain amount and I'll pay the rest. The girl in the Eye glasses section became hostile when she learned that I will not buy eye glasses that day even though I told her I need to find out first and try the contact lens they gave me to try and then I will decide what to get. When I told my husband everything, as a insurance primary holder he called the insurance company and the insurance company said they will call them. They told the insurance company that they will fix everything and charge us back. But in 1 week there is no payment happened in my credit card. Few weeks later they called me and said they owe me 25 something dollar and said they will hold on to it until i come back for my next set of contacts. I never came back and I found a new eye doctor and i am very very satisfied will give them a 5 star review soon. :) read more
