This review concerns our experience closing out the paperwork at the end, the staff, the facility. They were clearly utilizing Covid-safe practices, carefully scheduling clients to keep capacity at a minimum. Our conference room was clean, pens were sanitized and we were asked to pocket those that we used. Our loan officer exhibited an efficiency that lacked... personality? But oh well. Frost Mortgage was one of the three company's our realtor suggested. We, unfortunately, picked…read moreFrost. Yeah, this is how this review starts! From the first interaction, with processor, it was rude, abrasive and just wrong. Professional? No. Void of personality? Yes. Social skills included? No. Aside from that, we were being asked for items/documentation that was already provided. We chalked it up to maybe the realtor forgetting to send it to the lender or the lender not giving everything to the processor. On SEVERAL occasions we were given documentation with wrong figures. Some numbers fluctuate but others, like earnest money and seller's credit, do not. When called out on it, there were no apologies or ownership. Finger pointing was commonplace making us having to thoroughly review and calculate their numbers. And seriously, the numbers kept getting jacked up! Is there no review process? Absolutely ridiculous! Even at closing, we never received the final draft, the same final draft the title company received, making us again having to check the numbers and almost caused us to not close. The closing documents we received were very different! If I had a choice of doing business with Frost or not getting a house.......I'd choose not getting the house since that would be on my terms! Sad thing is, other folks have told me they had issues with Frost as well. Do your research before choosing a lender! What a disappointing experience!

Negligence, low standards, and bare-bones apologies…read more Frost Mortgage knew that our scheduled closing was cancelled and didn't tell us. In those last few days, we continued getting ready to move by forwarding our mail, setting up movers, shipping appliances, packing our belongings, telling our landlord we would be out by the end of the month, and arranging time off work for the house closing and for moving day. One day before the scheduled closing, we called the title company and they told us it wasn't happening. Dealing with that mess cost us much stress and at least $700. Our new house was move-in ready but it sat vacant for three weeks. The failure to tell us vital information was not the only time Frost Mortgage fell short; it was just the worst example.
