Firstly they have very low inventory of frames for kids, later they make you try some glasses and assure it fits right by making adjustments to the frame aka bending frames So we paid and ordered. On the day of picking another customer agent adjusted the frame to try to fit it for my 6 year old and notices frame is pretty big, now he asks me to add a band to hold the glasses stiff . 2 days we tried the glasses was falling off lower, so we decided to visit back. Now the manager who goes by the name "J" (refrains to give her full name even when asked) bends the frame even more by hand and tells me to buy another frame at extra cost saying all sales are Final. Please be careful while buying glasses here, they cross sell many unwanted stuff and frames at much higher prices. Abundance amount of frames to choose from. They always have some kind of promotion or give you a deal of some sort. I haven't made a purchase that I wasn't happy with. I always ask for Mei to help me. I let her choose for me. Today, I came for an annual exam and to get prescription sunglasses. Mei choose a really nice frame for me today. Mei thoroughly explained the charges, the insurance's coverages, and store's/manufacturer's guarantees. I like that- clear cut so I know. I walked in for an eye sight check, they said there is a 45 mins wait time to a see a doctor, since they said 45 mins, I decided to wait. They made me wait for more than 120 mins!!!, no courtesy at all. Even after 120 mins when I asked them how long it gonna take, they said we don't know!!!. The guy who said 45 mins to see a doctor, he has cold, running nose and cough. I wonder why he is even allowed to work at the store!!. I was helped by Cynthia, whose service was absolutely on-point. As an indecisive person, I struggled with choosing my sunglasses. Cynthia was extremely patient and never once frowned, even when I handed her around 8-10 frames that I tried on (that all have to be sanitised). On the other hand, I easily made a same day appointment on a Tuesday. - A lot of options and brands here, but prices may be a bit higher than LensCrafters and Site for Sore Eyes. My Tiffany's sunglasses were $11 more expensive here for exact same frames. - All the employees I encountered were very kind and helpful. - Review the price breakdown carefully before getting charged. If a mistake is made, it could take a while to rectify if there's no manager available. - My prescription sunglasses took 32 days total. This includes waiting for my backordered frames, doing an eye exam, and waiting for my prescription lenses to be prepared. The long winded version: I had come with my friend last year to get her glasses, and had fun trying on Tiffany's glasses, but had already ordered my glasses from Site for Sore Eyes. This year, I wanted to get Tiffany's prescription sunglasses, but my new insurance wasn't accepted at Site for Sore Eyes (plus I had a bad experience with their optometrist anyways). This place was in network so I came and found the sunglasses I wanted. I had seen the same pair at LensCrafters for $340 (but they are not in network for me), but Vision sold them for $351. Another downside was the color I wanted was on backorder, and I was told it could take up to a month. I wasn't in a rush, so Angie processed my order. She was great and calculated how much it would be with my insurance, not including lens cost yet as that depended on my prescription and what add ons I chose. She explained that they take a $25 non-refundable deposit to place an order, but if I change my mind I can use that as store credit for something else. Otherwise, that $25 goes towards the cost of my frames when I pay for them. She also recommended that I make my eye exam appointment after the frames come in for better efficiency. I was able to book a same day eye exam on the Tuesday my frames arrived, 17 days after ordering. Dr. Lisa Fan did my exam and she was amazing. I've only recently started trying to adult and find doctors and dentists and such. Bedside manner is super important to me as I am very sensitive to condescending and judgmental attitudes when it comes to medical related visits. She exuded positive vibes during the vision test, and gave me breaks and encouragement when I was struggling to keep my eyes open in the light for her to check for irregularities. Cynthia helped me with ordering the lens after my exam. I appreciate that she didn't try to up-sell me at all, and let me know that I could get the lenses replaced for free if scratched or something happens within 1 year. She went through the price breakdown with me, and after I paid I realized we forgot to apply my $25 deposit. I don't blame her, as I think people normally place their order for frames after their eye exam. She said she needed to ask a manager if they could refund or do store credit, but one wasn't in at the time. She recommended I ask about it when I come back to pick up my prescription sunglasses, which was quoted to take 2 weeks. I got the call they arrived 16 days later. A gentleman, whom's name I did not catch, assisted me with the fitting. I asked him about the refund and briefly explained what happened, and he processed it right away with no hassle. I'm not sure if he happened to be a manager. I do wish my refund could have been settled the same day it happened, but I understand they have a process they have to follow and am glad it got resolved in the end. read more

I have been coming here for the past four years for my annual eye exam and glasses with my parents. This year also I came here for eye check up and glasses. I was helped by Sandra Z. She gave me many choices to choose to get new frame.Sandra is very nice and extremely helpful. I told her exactly what I was looking for glasses frame style. She took her time to help me finding a new frame. I did choose frame what they had available in store but actually that frame size 59 was larger than what I always used to wear frame size so that the next morning I went there again and asked to Sandra to back order frame size 56 for me ASAP. Sandra immediately wrote down a note to back order frame size 56 on Monday for me. Today she called and let me know, She did back order frame size 56 for me. I was surprised and happy that I got phone call from Sandra. She is not only saying that but also she did. She tried so hard for me. Even after repetitively asking about its availability timeline, she didn't give me an answer and started pushing me to purchase the one available. I've been coming to this place since 2012. No problems. Until last year August 2017 and I got my eye exam. Took my paper and bought my business to Costco. I'm going on vacation and Costco didnt have my material. So I came back to this place after 10 months to refill. Well these fuckers decided that it was time for the annual exam. Even though it's not till August of 2018. They're very pushy that I pay out of pocket of 125 to get exam. When I dont need to do one until august!!! They wont even sell me the lenses because they'd rather have me pay for this unnecessary exam that is not needed until August and my insurance wont cover it until August This place only likes you when you're constantly here spending hundreds of dollars every month. If you only come here to get your exam and spend less than $500 on glasses. I highly suggest that you take your business somewhere else because this place only wants your money. read more

I had my glasses prescription with vision insight for years. Overall experience is pretty good. My last pair get very blurry because the anti glare coating is worn off badly. Cynthia was very helpful and did whatever she could to address the issue, finding me the right person to talk to, find earlier appointment for me since I'm wearing very old pair of glasses now. I had my eye exam with Dr. Pham yesterday. He is really nice and professional. You can tell he loves people and what he does. I called in a week before for an appointment. I was a bit early and I filled out the form and the cashier girl took my prescription with the machine. Then when she was going to blow air in my eyeball with the other machine, I refused b/c I felt uncomfortable since she's not an eyeball professional (what am I paying for?!). For $59, Dr. Pham gave me a prescription for glasses. He did tests with different lenses and tested whether I like the glasses for slight astigmatism. I didn't since it looked 3D so he removed it from my prescription. He diluted my eyes to check the health (I think that's what it's called) by putting in eye drops that stung (I had to wait 30 minutes and come back so he could check) and the eye drops made my vision blurry for several hours and very sensitive to light. I guess it was worth it to check the health of my eyes. Total time for exam was about 20 minutes plus 5 minutes to check on the eyes after the drops. Might come back for glasses after shopping around. The glasses are all cheap plastic with different brands on them. None are really differentiated except maybe Gucci, Oakley and Rayban. Glasses in Korea are $40 with frames and lenses so it's hard to put down $200 for the same quality! read more

I wish i could have given 0 stars. We came here cause my daughter needed glasses. I made an appointment for my daughter. I wish I would have waited for my work eye dept. office to have an opening. My daughter left with tears in her eyes. When we went in they were doing the test. One test scared her, that she started to cry. I was trying to comfort her, but the people who were helping me out were starting to get mad. They told me that they needed to get these test done. They rushed us though the whole time. Once we got in the exam room the doctor rushed us again. did two test, then has to tell me my daughter does not need glasses. Once again, I love coming here. I came in as a walk-in and I felt very welcomed. Laura, the supervisor, saw me, greeted me and helped me with my purchase. I was very pleased to see her. She's almost like family because she knows my mom and brothers. I don't think I would feel the same way at any other place. Not to mention the optometrists are very professional and experienced. I was seen by Dr. Phan who was really friendly and recognized me as a patient years ago. I only visit the optometrist once a year but it's always nice to come back to a place that's familiar and welcoming. I would recommend this optometry because of the professional and friendly staff. **Tip** if you can't get an appointment, come in as a walk-in on the weekdays in the morning, preferably when they open. Useless and worst staff behavior. I have been going there for last 7 years but for last two years they have become rude. Today visit was worst experience. Before going , I called them if i can come for walk-in they told Yes, I went there and the reception guy was very rude.. He was behaving like I am here for free check up. He asked to wait for 15-20 minutes and he old that he will call me on my cell once my turn comes however they did not call for 45 minutes. I was waiting there only. I was again old that I have to wait for few more minutes waited for another 40 minutes. When I asked them to let me know how long I have to wait then response was very rude and told i have to more. An absolutely excellent experience!! My old glasses had had it, and Saturday night, the frame failed. Did some checking for using the VSP network, and located this place... open on Sunday and close to my home. Then, I checked for them on Yelp, and the reviews were quite good. So I gave them a call right after they opened around 11 AM Sunday morning. My call was taken by Linda, and she was completely upfront and helpful. She checked my insurance (VSP) over the phone and got the approval. Let me know that weekends tend to be busy, but a walkin eye exam was possible. Also let me know that a basic replacement frame (and lenses) was available for $59, and could be done at once, but the bi-focals I was interested in would need to be ordered. Went into the shop, and they were busy, but I got superb service. Linda helped me to select both my low-cost "available today" glasses, along with some very nice Ray Bans for my VSP pair. The optometrist, Dr. Auh, was superb - friendly, efficient and highly capable. After Dr. Auh completed my exam and prescription, Linda helped complete my order. I had originally thought of staying with the lowest cost frames, but Linda found me a really nice pair of Ray Bans whch only cost $30 out of pocket due to my insurance, and it was definitely not a hard sell. I also chose "Perspectives" .. a more refined form of bi-focal, and light, scratch-resistance lenses. I did ask Linda if this pair could be ordered in Bronze (the pair she showed me was Silver), and she really went above and beyond, in tracking down what I wanted after the main ordering site she uses was not helpful enough. The pair of glasses that was to be prepared that day were done promptly. My son and I grabbed lunch, and by the time we were finished eating, the glasses were set. Linda made some final adjustments, and I was on my way. Of course the "final test" will come when my second pair of glasses are ready in about a week .. but after today's experience, I am sure I will be pleased. My mom showed me this place, and I was so happy. They have so many different kinds of brands of glasses. Who knew they had MCM eyewear?! Sheesh. One thing that was kind of annoying was that it's really busy in here. And when you walk in and are looking for someone to assist you, it takes a while. A lot of people are lounging around without the intent of actually buying. Some of the employees were just looking at me. Then Angie came, and assisted me. She was really helpful with telling me my insurance allowance and also helping me pick out some Gucci frames. They have Versace, Dior, Burberry.. alla that. Even the more expensive frames were still affordable. It's cool. Price wise. I was so HAPPY. My allowance from the insurance wasn't a lot but Angie helped me save 200+ versus the other optical places I've been. She told me my glasses would be done around two weeks. Fast forward, they didn't call me I called them. Not sure if they were going to call me but either way my schedule is hectic so setting a day to pick up had to work for me. When I called my frames were ready for pick up. When I got my eyeglasses they came with a really nice Gucci case and a bag. My only concern was that when I got home there was a small dent on my frames. Nothing to report.. but I will keep that in mind the next time I do decide to buy again from them. Will be back. This place was recommended by my vision plan. I walked in this place at 10am on a Saturday (I called in a week earlierto try to set an appointment up and the person on the phone said, no appointment needed, we are not booked). I was sat down on stools after they took my temp. They made me fill out a questionnaire and got my info. I asked the lady taking my info about the pricing and compared it to my plan. I asked her on why the prices were off and right away her body language changed along with her tone. "It is what it is." Without explaining to me. She sighed like I did something wrong. I held my demeanor and asked her to step out a bit so I can call my vision plan provider. I returned 5 mins later and she told me within the 5 mins that she was all booked up and I have to wait awhile. I asked her if anyone else can help me because there were literally 6 other representatives standing there and maybe 1 or 2 people in the store. OK, I asked her how about an appointment. She said "she" was booked up until mid September. A bit upset, I got up and asked another rep to help me. The other rep said "there's no one in front of you, there's maybe a 10 minute wait for the next eye doctor." I was okay with that. This is not cool at all. Just because I asked a couple of questions about the pricing plan, and the first rep felt treaten that I didn't made it easy for her to proceed, she should not cop an attitude or try to deny service. I did my research in quite a few websites just to find out that the sane frames were a lot less. I've been coming here for the past 4 years for my annual eye exams and glasses. The place is located right inside Great Mall near Victoria's Secret and the Starbucks entrance. Inside the store is very clean with bright lights. It says by appointments, but I've always just walked-in and was always helped out right away. Their operating hours are similar to the mall's (but not that late) so it's nice that I can come after work. Dr. Tran is great and very knowledgeable. I came in for an annual eye check up but actually haven't been seen in 2 years. Oops lol. Anyway, he was really nice and explained everything with the new changes with my sight. I had a slight stigmatism before but now it's gone. The other staff are friendly and very helpful. When I come in to find new glasses they're all very honest and provide great advice. They helped me pick out frames that fit my face shape and direct me to the glasses style I want. Their prices are pretty reasonable and depending on your insurance, they offer great discounts. After picking the frame I want, I was able to pick it up the same day in just 1 hour. I killed time by walking around the mall and getting some snacks. Overall a really great experience and they make getting glasses hassle free! read more

03/09/21 they now have a policy that is NOT a "customer friendly" -a waiver form that if they damage your frame in any way, they are not responsible for it. to me, it is like you are giving them the AUTHORIZATION not to care for your frame. if you they do it right, no waiver is necessary! you need to satisfy your customers in every possible way and not to accept any of your negligence. the waiver is like they are telling me not to TRUST this business. we are not coming back here for sure read more

Spent $650+ buying 2 pairs of sunglasses only to find out it's out it's out of stock, that's something you should mention before you charge me for it!!! then there's the no refund policy... are you F$%# serious? I waited 3 weeks ... only 1 pair arrived. I go pick it up in the store, ask why it took so long, and the guy gives me an attitude and says we will call you when it arrives. Well you didn't call me, I had to call myself to even find out this one arrived. I will never shop here again. Update: Another week went by, received a call saying they received the right box with the wrong sunglasses inside; they cannot reorder, so they offered a refund. Not very reliable...
