20 plus year customer here, Golden Vision Optometry is such as a roller coaster ride. When they are good, they are really good. When they are bad, they are REALLY REALLY bad. The only reason I keep coming back is because of Emily, the veteran there. She is what customer service should be. Now, here's why I gave them a lower rating this time around. Your front desk needs to be retrained or hire somebody that actually wants to be there. Otherwise you will lose your long time customers. I told the front desk girl, I am here to pick up my glasses. She just handed me my glasses and tell me to try them on. Before, they would asked a technician to help me with a the fitting and adjustment if needed. Nope, didn't get any of that this time. It feels like, we got your money already, see ya. No customer service after you pay for your glasses. Bottom line - Want to drop some serious dollars for a pair glasses, come here. If you want good customer service, look somewhere else. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with this eyeglasses business. The staff was unprofessional, poorly communicative, and noticeably rude especially toward patients under 40 years old. As a paying customer, everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect, regardless of age. My entire family all bought glasses, expecting quality and reliable service. Unfortunately, the glasses themselves were not durable at all. One pair broke within the same year of purchase, bending easily under normal use. Despite this, the business was unable to provide a full replacement, which is unacceptable given the short timeframe and poor product quality. On top of that, the replacement process took an extremely long time, with little to no communication or updates. It felt like customers were left in the dark and brushed off rather than helped. Overall, the glasses are low quality, the service is slow, and the customer care is lacking. I would not recommend this place, especially for families looking for dependable eyewear and respectful service read more

I patiently returned after the recent changes in accepting VSP again. The longtime staff are extremely kind, especially Dr. Ma, but the customer service is weak and ineffective. I have noticed significantly longer call wait times--it took me almost 15 minutes just to reach an agent. The agent was unable to resolve the issue and promised to call me back with an update. That promise was broken; no one ever called back. This is truly an unacceptable experience to welcome back customers! read more

I had called them for a few times. Until now, I still haven't received my glasses as told it was supposed ready by two weeks. The last time I called, they said it was in store already and pending some checks. I would get message within a day. Today, I called again and same response that I would be contacted 'withn a day". Of course, they never contacted me from their side. They claim there are too many customers and all the staff are busy. WHAT A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS that they complaint too many customers. I have been buying glasses in Gordon for three consecutive years because they have a wide selection of new models, and each time I receive excellent service. I met the salesperson here: Kathy, and she is a very friendly person. Last year, thanks to her recommendation , I purchased glasses that I really liked. A few days ago, when I went to the store to choose glasses, she even arranged for a doctor to examine my eyes and informed me that I have dry eye disease.
