That's all changing right now though... Last week I attended a concert at MSG and the person sitting behind me spilled barbecue sauce all over my winter coat...I mean, it was everywhere. I understand accidents happen, but this one stung. I love my winter coat; I get a lot of compliments whenever I wear it, and it wasn't cheap. I checked the label and saw it was dry-clean only, so I decided not to mess with any of the stains myself and bought it straight to Nu Trend the next morning. I kept my expectations low, and was mentally preparing to say goodbye to my coat - but lo and behold when I picked it up today it looked as good as new. They missed a small spot on the inner lining that I was able to get out with water, but besides that the stains were completely gone. I was shook, in a good way. That being said, I would definitely trust Nu Trend with not only my dry cleaning, but any sort of stain or specialty cleaning I need in the future. Thank you for saving my coat! =D

You may find cheaper dry cleaning somewhere else but you will be paying for what you pay. They definitely should be charging more for the quality of service they provide. I would definitely and highly recommend this dry cleaners.

This was my first time using this dry cleaners, after my long-time cleaners closed their business. After paying $55 in cash--no credit cards accepted--the coat was returned with the button stitched back on no better than I could have done myself, and with no spacer like the rest of the buttons still have. It looks dreadful, to be honest, and I won't be bringing anything back to this cleaner again.

The dry cleaning items had a quick turnaround, just a day or so, while the alterations took about a week (which is also quick). Everyone who assisted me was friendly and attentive. The dry cleaning was competitively priced, but I did feel that the alterations were a bit high. I don't have much to compare with, other than evening gowns, but I was surprised that taking in the waist on a pair of pants was more expensive than those gowns in the past. The payment system was a bit confusing as well. I'll admit, I did not notice the signs inside the establishment that indicated "cash only," so that is my fault, but the electronic invoice that I was sent made it appear as though I could pay with card online. The website also does not have clear indication about payment types accepted. In a day and age when not many people carry cash or have paper checks anymore, this could be a drawback for people utilizing this business.

A pair of pants was stitched at just 4 points, which caused my feet to hang up on the cuff every time I put the pants on, and causing the stitches to fail soon after. The cut was also uneven and not straight. On my second run, I had the sleeves of a sport jacket done and the stitching was just butchered. First, they tell me it'll be ready in 3 days. I go back in 3 days and I see it hanging on the rack, never being touched. So they tell me it'll be ready in a few hours. It's obvious they rushed the job because the sleeves come out completely sewn up, no time put in to re-do the button holes. When I bring it back to get fixed, it takes 3 days of stopping in and arguing with them before I ever get the jacket back. They cut so much material off the sleeves I can't even take it to an actual tailor to fix it.
