This time, it was just weird, and fraught. None of the familiar people were there. After the problems occurred I asked if it is now under new ownership or management and was told it isn't, but.... Various mistakes were made, including that one jacket that was to be cleaned apparently was not, they didn't follow through on sending back to me some buttons I had brought that were to be used (but weren't), and, topping it off, their phone number was out of service for at least several days, which prevented interim communication and actually made me wonder if they had closed down. With regret, I'm going elsewhere in the future. I loved the old Chatsworth Cleaners.

I've been going to him ever since, except in only one occasion. I've never had a problem with my clothes and I've never had a problem with customer service. John provides pristine and high quality care every single time. My clothes come back perfectly clean, pressed, and handled with real professionalism. Reliability like this is rear! I love how I get compliments on my shirts, just the other day 4/4 someone asked was my shirt brand new. They said that they loved how my shirt looks. The services requested were laundry with mild starch, sometimes placed on hanger or sometimes pressed and folded and placed in a box waiting for pick up. My pants are always pressed with a perfect crease. The value is great here and not over charged. I went to a neighboring cleaners once because I was in a rush, they charged more and the shirt came back dirty. I sent in a high value Burberry trench coat to get dry cleaned and it got damaged!! The coat had…read moretwo small black stains on a sleeve. I pointed those out when I sent it in. When I picked it up the first time. The person at the store said that they failed to remove one of the stains. I accepted that. But upon further checking, I noticed that the front collar of the coat got some large watery stain and a red spot which I didn't have when I sent it in. This is after they had supposedly cleaned the coat once! They took it back to be cleaned for a second time. And when I picked it up again, they said that the red spot they created cannot be removed! They insisted that the spot was there when I sent it in. I definitely didn't have that spot when I sent it in. As a normal person, I didn't take any video before I sent a coat to the dry clean, so I can't prove this. This stain is on the front of the coat. I cannot wear it any more! This is a very expensive Burberry trench coat. They only returned the 40 dollars they charged me for cleaning, which they didn't do and further stained it! It also wasted a bunch of my time. The person at the store refused to take any responsibility of ruining the coat. He said that the coat was not new and was dirty. But why would anyone take a new and clean coat to a dry cleaner?! This place is a nightmare! Avoid at all costs!

Jim, the owner was at the front desk and he was extremely helpful and welcoming. I was assisted by Carlos with my laundry and he was also very personable. When I returned to pick up my dry cleaning, another gentleman was at the front desk and the high level of customer service was maintained. My experience doing my own laundry was economical and the equipment did a great job. My dry cleaning was received when promised and I am pleased with the quality job that was done. I will continue to patronize this business and hope they remain in operation for a long time!
