This is the worst treatment I have ever received at this laundromat, and I will not return to it. I went to pick up my clothes last night after dropping them off two days earlier and paying half the amount. I showed the receipt; my balance was 21.12. I gave her 21 in cash and 12 cents. She took the 21 without saying anything and took the card without a single word. I don't know what she did, then she said, "Give me another dollar." I gave her 12 cents, she said no, bring a dollar. I told her to go ahead. She entered it into the machine and gave me the clothes, saying thank you. I said, "Where is my remaining money, the 88 cents?!" She said, "We don't accept cash and I cannot give it to you; I don't have it!!!!!!" I was about to call the police, but because my children were in the car, I didn't want to scare them. It would have been better if the girl had informed me from the beginning that they do not accept cash; I would have paid by card. The issue here is not about the money, but about the behavior that makes you stunned by the lack of responsibility and the attempt to take rights while you are watching. I also hope the owner of this laundromat removes the phrase "we accept cash" from the website. I believe many people will experience such situations due to workers' negligence. I will not return to this laundromat If the owner wants to prove me wrong, there is a camera at 8 o'clock he can check to see for himself. The dryers have gone up in a dime in the price and I think that is only because they traded in the older model machines for the new more efficient and hotter machines. This laundry place uses the laundry cards and beware the machine misbehaves sometimes and says it cannot read your card but, just keep trying a few times it will read your card eventually. They also offer a drop off service which I have never used but, I have seen people drop off there clothes and pick them up all in the same night. While you are doing laundry they offer a vending machine for snacks and beverages as well as a few arcade machines for the kids. I will continue to come here and do my laundry.
