An employee at this location denies service at 9:20pm on a Sunday night while the hours posted on the window explicitly say open until 11pm, last wash 9:30pm. I have been coming to this location for years and have had no issues. Even came at a similar time, at 9pm. If the hours posted online and on the window say last wash 9:30pm, why deny service to an individual coming to load a single wash before the start of a new week? There is a single person sitting inside waiting for his clothes, but she says that I would be the only other one here and she will not stay for me. Does she not get paid to stay for the duration of the open hours? Please recommend other laundromats because I am disappointed with the service from this individual. read more

I have been going to WashUp Express for many years for drop-off service. They are the most efficient laundromat around. I had previously been to 2 other laundromats and the 2 other places lost my sheets! Since I started going to WashUp Express, I have never had anything missing from my laundry and they are always on time when I go to pick it up. The ladies who work there are honest and hardworking. Still waiting for my dang contractor to install a washer and dryer that has been sitting in my under-construction home for 6 months! Egads! ...but never fear, Wash Up Express is certainly well equipped to wash out my woes (pun intended)! Yep, I admit it! I have been hitting up some low rent washaterias lately to my chagrin. [And, for all of you not in the know, that's what we laundromats growing up in the south.] I mean, I try to stay close to home, which is my down fall I suppose because NYC has some pretty bad self laundry facilities. But, low and behold, drive on up to the luxury of Scarsdale, and you'll find this beautiful, well-equipped, state-of-the-art laundry. All the machines are newish, the price is right, and the bathrooms are clean as a whistle!! Oh, and they have free (and fast) Internet. If you live in the area and need to get your clothes washing on, this is your place. I was looking for a new laundry mat since I am new to the area, my friend told me about this one, so I started coming here, there is one girl that helps who is always on my ass about everything, there's no peace and doing your own laundry, then she said that the owner told my son to stop playing with his cars on the metal chairs because he was going to break the chairs. So my son proceeded to play on the floor and they all kept staring with disgust. I definitely do not recommend this place. I usually wash leave and come back to dry my clothes and wait for it. Don't even fold it and leave because I don't like to stay there for long. But today was it, I would not put up with the girl telling my kids what to do at the end of the day. If she had a problem, she should come to me. be careful with the dryers, although they may seem that they dry the clothes fast they are at a very high temperature, and I have lost a few of our sweaters. read more

I have a small washer at home for almost all of my washing needs. However, a couple of times a year I gather every blanket in the house and do one big washing. After hitting up 2 laundromats close to my home, I decided to look elsewhere. They had very few XL washers for all my blankets and the places were rundown and dingy. So I head to Yelp and decide to give this place a chance even though it had only one review. I drove almost 20 minutes to get here, but man it was worth it! The minute I walked in I see 8 brand new XL washing machines calling my name. Score! No waiting AND it's so clean! Plus there's free parking! I don't know what else you could ask for. From now on I won't even bother going to the laundromat that's walkable from my house. Next time it's blanket washing time, I will just hop in my car and head to Scarsdale. read more

My husband can't stop raving about the lovely (and subtle) scent of our clean blankets. Our toilet overflowed the first day the machines were taken out in our building. And it decided to snow for the first time all year. The employee (Elena?) was very helpful and fair regarding pricing the wash & fold service for my soaked and soiled towels and blankets. So far here equipment are still new but one things I concerned that They are not self cleaning out of dram washmacine have to needs all cleaning constantly getting smells bad every time do laundry. there's only this place is closet from my apt can't be help. Wash up Xpress is immaculate! The washers & dryers shine. The containers in the washers where you put detergent etc. are removed, scrubbed and replaced! The change machine always works. The staff is both friendly and very helpful. Parking is free and right near the doorway, easy access. Have told lots of people what a pleasure it is to laundry here. Still cannot believe how well the store is kept. Believe it or not, they also have free internet! If you want clean clothes and linens, this is the place.So glad I found it. My uncle's used to go here all the time and would always tell everyone what a great service it was, until last week, when his comforter and bedding were stolen. This happens, however it is the manner in which is was dealt with which is so upsetting. My uncle is hearing impaired and every attempt he has made to rectify the situation has been met with jeers, laughter and straight up lies. I was shocked that this facility would mock any customer but especially one with a disability. I would give zero stars if I could. read more
