One time I was pressed for time before heading to work and I didn't realize that the dryer I was using was not hot enough to dry my work clothes all the way. I presented the problem and how I couldn't wait to re-dry them so I asked them to refund me the money at the very least. The mechanic said he would not and then referred me to the short, older, blond woman who brushed me off and told me to speak to the mechanic. It was this back and forth that was so unnecessary for machines they should be paying more attention to and maintaining. On top of that this issue was for about $1.70 of a refund which was ridiculous to deal with. I took the refund and then asked her if I could have a thin plastic bag to put my wet clothes in so they don't wet my other load of dry clothes and could you believe she wanted to CHARGE ME $1 for the bag?? These people CLEARLY no NOTHING about retaining customers and holding themselves accountable for the overall inconvenience. Yes, they refunded me but they could have been kinder and more courteous about me not ruining my other clothes plus a dollar for that thin ass bag was too much. Will most likely have to go back there since they're close by but I really, really don't want to. Check your dryers and stay away from that lady if you have to wash there.

As I was combining my clothes she asked me my name and when I told her she said she knew someone with the same name that she didn't like and she proceeded to treat me as such. The attitude just never subsided from there. At the end, when I saw my bill I was a bit shocked although I knew the weight was significant I wasn't expecting to pay almost $80. When I look at my receipt I was stepped to $1/lb for one bag for same day service which I never requested. I was also charged a separation fee which was never discussed. When I asked about why the bill was so high she said something about she's the one bending her back to wash the clothes not me. I picked up my clothes the next day and everything is combined! So I paid a separation fee just for her to combine all my clothes. I wish I could give 0 stars! Shame on this business! The place is also literally the size of a small living room. A person in my circumstances NEEDS laundry pick-up/delivery without castigation or harassment. I called this place based on the positive Yelp reviews to inquire about this service. They told me their minimum was 30 pounds. Well, I don't have a scale to weigh a heavy bag on; I simply know when the bag is full and hard for me to maneuver. I mentioned my plight, they told me they only accept cash, would weight the laundry when they had it and would call me to tell me how much it was (as I bank with a credit union that has free ATMs in limited locations so I'd need some time to get cash out of the bank since they don't take credit cards). Days after my laundry pick-up (with no word on when I'd get my clothes back or how much this order will cost), I have to arrange to get my stuff back so I can have clean underwear for the next week. They inform me of the price then & tell me I have to be home right at that instant with cash on hand to get my laundry, telling me of no other time when I could do it. They claimed I was trying to finagle for a special trip for a 12 pound load of laundry and were trying to have me walk 8 blocks to get all that stuff and then try getting it up that 4th floor walk-up with zero help from anyone while I was merely trying to figure out when I could get my stuff back and when they were in the area to drop it off. They did a great job in handling my laundry and folding my socks (hence not getting a 1 star) review but when I tried getting this done again, they basically discriminated against single professionals. I also don't like that lack of credit card acceptance so now I have to see about another dedicated laundry service so I can get this done once a month.
