However Sara from HamperApp needs to either be released or penalized for illegally taking the liberty to place another order under my name herself after I canceled the order because they were 24 hours late and tried It with a $5 discount on $200 laundry... The next day the laundry is picked up without my notice until I got home and thought It was the other company. Then I got a message from HamperApp. Stating that Sara took the liberty to illegally charge my account for a new order she placed for me after I cancelled. Sounds fake right... look at the messages below.

I'm going to sit at home and ogle the ladies in the Victoria's Secret catalog. [buzz] Moe: Sears catalog. [ding]" Anyway, this dry cleaning/tailoring place has nice employees. I am always a little uneasy when people are SOOO friendly, after all this is New York, and I wondered a little if maybe when I left they'd badmouth me. Well it doesn't really matter as long as the dry cleaning is clean, and it was, so hey. Weird thing that not too many other dry cleaning places do in this neighborhood-- these guys ask for a name, address and phone number. I'm like what?! The other place down the block knows me only as "Pink Number 9024" and I like it that way. So I told a little white lie and gave a 30 Rock character's name as my name. But I gave my real phone number cause you know, I gotta stay in touch with the place that has joint custody of my $50 pants. The address I declined to give. After all, we do live in a post-apocalyptic John Tyneresque world and I have to guard my remaining liberties carefully. Don't tread on my dry cleaning!!!

I have been using freshspin for the last two and half years. Prior to the change in management, I…read moreloved being serviced by them. Once the change in management happened, the customer service has gone down. Though it is a low cost option, it doesn't need to treat its customers in the way they do. When there is issues with the laundry or payment, the store refuses to call they have the driver call with half the information. If you are bold enough to take the customers' money, you should be equally as bold to call the customer if their an issue. This is not how you do business. Especially one who has stood by the business through their transition. The worse if it is the person they have answering the phones doesn't even know how to explain the situation either. They don't do payments and it is someone else who does it. Its very frustrating when the service you are paying your money to complete a task doesn't know how to communicate to their clients. That is bad business practice.

They provide a 1.5-hour window for pickup and delivery but are consistently 2 to 3 hours late, making it impossible to plan around, especially if you need to go to work. They often call 10 minutes before arriving telling you they are at your door--if they have the correct address at all--which means you have to wait outside. Even if you're forced to take a work-from-home day because of their delays, the first few hours are still highly disruptive. On top of that, they have lost my laundry before and now rarely answer calls or texts. I used to love the convenience of this service, but unfortunately, I won't be using them again. Don't just read the reviews from before, that was when the service was good :(
