terrible service, no help or assistance..Beware, this is not the first time this has happened for me in the last 2 years using Visible: everyone on the chat is "good" but they copy and paste the exact same thing over and over, very frustrating and not helpful. I am trying to change phones with the same exact e-sim service i've had for the last year -- they said 24-48 hours for the issue to be resolved (should work automatically), then I chatted with someone each day for any updates. Now they're saying 3-5 business days AND no one yet knows the issue. I am still getting billed, haven't had service on my phone for 4 days now, now it's 3-5 days on top of this to get resolved and ON TOP OF THAT i'll have to wait even longer for the e-sim?!?! No one in the chat even knows the "problem" so here i am waiting to see if i can cancel this terrible service both... company and phone. I do NOT recommend Visible. I had a nightmare with customer service when Visible messed up my phone upgrade. I cycled endlessly through customer service loops while Visible refused to take responsibility for the error. In the end, they refused to pay the balance on my old phone when I upgraded, as promised. They claimed that my new phone was not purchased through the upgrade program, though it had been, and claimed that they could not flag it as an upgrade post purchase. They wanted me to return the new phone for a refund, and purchase an additional phone, using the same broken process that resulted in the apparent error. An error which they would not acknowledge, though I clearly documented everything with screenshots. What a waste of time and money. Terrible Service! I signed up with these guys thinking I was going to get great service and a great price. Wrong! Just the opposite is what I received. Do not waste your time. If you ever have to talk to them about anything, there is no phone number. It is chat only. And they chat with multiple people at the same time, so a response every time you say something takes 10 minutes. You end up chatting about a single issue for a minimum of 1 hour. I had several issues over a 2 day period and I was chatting for hours. They have problems resolving tech issues that can take days. And to top it off, their phone service sucks. On 10/01/2022 I proceeded to transfer my cellphone number and service to Visible wireless. I followed all of the instructions on their website and on their application. I was charged the monthly fee and payed it. They charged my card immediately. They assigned a "temporary number" as that's what they do before they port your number (per customer service chat). When my number did not come over I proceed to chat. After almost 2 hours of chat wait time, I chatted with someone. They assured me that the port was successful and my port will take a few hours. I thought it was normal and reasonable so I waited. The next day at 5:39 AM I received an email that my number was ported. However my service on my phone stopped working. After another 2 hour wait to chat with someone they said there was an error in the port process. They would put in a "ticket" and it would be fixed in 4 hours. It was not as I received an email that my main number was now canceled. I have had this number for about 15 years and legally it's my number. I waited another 2 hours to chat with someone. They proceed to tell me not to worry because they can fix it my number is not canceled. I requested a call back from a supervisor (they have no customer care number, you must chat and request a call) I waited in the chat for 3 hours before someone called me. They couldn't fix and said the department that can fix it doesn't have a phone number and there is no way to fix. They would not transfer me to their supervisor because they said there is no way to call them. They promised to call me back the next day. I called my old carrier to just port my number back as I was scared I would lose my number that I've had for 15 years. My old carrier said they could not port back because it showed cancelled. The next day no one called me back. I chatted for 3 hours again and no resolution. I tried porting to AT&T again and they said it's cancelled. Visible still has not activated and it's holding my number hostage. Please release my number or activate it as I have no way to call emergency services or family or my doctors as I have a lot of health issues. read more

Well, I guess I'm an idiot for not checking Visible reviews on Yelp first, it could have saved me a lot of grief and $45. Apparently everyone else has had the same horrible experience I had. I was with Verizon and decided to try Visible as it is advertised as "Visible by Verizon", a cheaper, prepaid option which turned out to be very misleading because Visible is in fact separate from Verizon. When I unintentionally left Verizon I lost the promotion on my phone as well as my plan which is no longer available to me. Thankfully, Verizon did all they could to help me and fix the situation on their end. Visible, on the other hand, totally screwed me over. This all started last Sat. 10/15, one week ago. We went through the process of using an eSim to get my phone transferred to Visible. They charged me $45. Within a short period I realized I might have made a terrible mistake. Sure enough, like many of the other reviews have stated, I had to wait 1-2 hours in the chat queue to speak with someone. I had no cell service and they had changed my phone number which they don't tell you beforehand, I've had my number for over 20 years and I needed to keep it. They were able to migrate my old number over to them but then after a frustrating afternoon of trying to get my phone to work I decided to abort and go back to Verizon. This is where things got really messy. I had the same problem as some of the other reviewers, my phone number got stuck in some sort of port and Verizon was unable to migrate my old number back. So this became a 4 day headache, hours on the phone with Verizon, hours trying to chat with Visible who weren't helpful at all, they just kept telling me everything was fine on their end. Meanwhile, I still have no cell service. By the 3rd day Verizon was able to generate a temporary number for me so I could at least switch back and have a working phone. Finally after even more hours of chatting with Visible someone created a ticket and escalated my case and my old number was migrated back to Verizon the next day. However, now they tell me I am not eligible for a refund. I was with Visible for only 2 days, during which time I had no cell service, wasted hours of my life I will never get back and somehow I am not eligible for a refund? Who, then, would be eligible for a refund?? What was the $45 for exactly? They will not provide any explanation why. The whole purpose of switching to Visible was to try to save some money. I have been struggling financially and I have some medical bills coming up so I am trying to find ways to save. On top of all the stress and hassle I now have a higher bill with Verizon because of inadvertently leaving them for Visible who then essentially robbed me of $45. Horrible, greedy company, terrible and useless customer service, truly the worst experience I have ever had as a customer. read more

They are incompetent. Do not use them because their customer service is beyond incompetent, and you can never speak to a real person. They disconnected my phone service with Verizon without my permission but did not properly port the number to Visible. Therefore I am without cell phone service. So far I have spent over 5 hours on "chat" with them (remember, they will not let you speak to a real person). It is very frustrating, inefficient and non-productive. My experience was as BAD as all previous comments about non-existing service and being on chat for hrs at a time without any results. Porting over was a nightmare! One bright spot on Oct. 29th was new employee, Bety - we spent literally hours on chat to get my port effective and my phone working. Their protection plan insurance isn't much better - Assurant - filed claim on Oct 6th - finally got replacement phone on Oct 28th after many many calls and screw ups on their end. I cancelled my protection plan and now have Apple Care+ Theft & Loss coverage. Will stay only the minimum time to get my sign up visa gift card - then good bye and good riddance. read more

My experience with Visible has been absolutely horrendous. Set up was difficult and confusing, and it just got worse from there. My voicemail has never worked properly. I contacted Visible when I was first having trouble, but of course could only speak with the Chat, who I suspect is really just a bot. I was told I had to uninstall my voicemail app and install a new one, which I did. But it still didn't work. So a support person from Visible called me, and told me Visibile could not help me because I had uninstalled my Voicemail App and installed a new one - EXACTLY LIKE VISIBLE SUPPORT HAD TOLD ME TO DO! My voicemail still does not work and am looking to go back to Verizon as soon as I can. Yes, Visible does save me some money, but it's not worth it if the service doesn't work. Can't believe how bad this is. Switching from Verizon after 25 years bc they are so bad, but what did I expect since they're owned by Verizon or at least use their network. Terrible website - hard to navigate or find anything. Tried to sign up for their 15-day free trial but impossible to find the link to actually sign up from the free trial page. When I finally found iwhat seems to be the link, I followed the instructions and it ended up trying to skip the trial and sign up for service! Tried several times but no free trial - total scam! Last December, I wanted a new phone to replace the old phone that had no problems with Visible service . Ordered and paid for the phone. Received the box in a timely manner. There was no phone in it. Contacted Visible within minutes of delivery. After chating, sending pictures of an empty box, filing and sending copies of police reports in order to get a refund, I was texted that they are investigating and would update me. Visible did text me a couple of times within the 1st week that they were still investigating (standard auto generated text message), but over the weeks the texts were fewer till I had to contact them to get updates, response was they will contact me when there was an update. So February, I contacted my credit card company and asked how long I had to do a charge back. I was on my last week. I gave Visible another chance to update me, and the response was that they would contact me when there was an update. I figured a couple of months was more than enough time to figure out if they should refund me. I contacted my credit card and had them do a charge back. So what's the point of this review, I like visible the service works for me, but I will not recommend ordering anything from them other than a sim card. read more

Their plan sounded good and I trusted the Verizon network. I'll spare you all the details but will say I've spent 6+ hours with their online customer service (only chat is available, you cannot talk or email with a real person). From day one, I have not been able to receive data on their network (it's been 2-weeks now). I even bought a second phone from them because they said the first one was defective. My first issue was with Visible's the activation which took 48 hours. That is unacceptable! So I switched carriers immediately. I had a issue adding an Apple Watch Series 4 for my daughter on my plan and setting up as an family member. I had Visible experts, specialists, and their executive team work on. But before I had them try to fix I told whoever works on this issue according to Apple website article in the error message I got that you're aren't a compatible carrier. First, They told me we will resolve it for you when your next billing cycle begins. Tried it of course, it didn't work. Secondly, After many other expert agents tried helping it didn't work. Finally, their executive team told me via email to factory reset both watch and phone. It didn't work! After further reviews on their community, I'm not the only one having this problem. We tried to port our phones and service over to VISIBLE but they make it absolutely impossible. We did everything EXACTLY they way that asked us to and even after talking with 4 CS people who kept giving us boiler plate answers we were not able to do it. Two hours later we had to give up. The experience was terrible and everyone I've talked since then has told me a horror story. Constant issues, not just me but my whole party, as soon as we went to party pay, couldn't send gifs to each other over text... Started missing phone calls and getting voice mails while I was in service. Reached out to customer service just to be told it will be escalated to the top yadda yadda... Installed provided sim card and old phone number was ported over, but had no service. Chat is the only communication with them and a long wait and you're prone to get disconnected. I did finally get connected, but then I couldn't get my voicemail because it asked for a password which I have never had. Tried the usual 1234 and 0000. I thought a quick chat would take care of that, but instead I was with support for a long time as they said they were researching it. After being told that problem was solved an hour later, it wasn't. I'm reluctant to start this process over again with support. Rates are cheap, but aggravation has to be considered. read more
