Best price around. I was paying $20/mo (fees/taxes included!) for unlimited everything PLUS a hot spot! No contract, no prepaying months. Their spam filter was also pretty decent. Problem was, the coverage was terrible for me. I had to use Wi-Fi calling in my home. If I was on the network, I always had to repeat things or ask people to repeat what they said. It made calls very frustrating. Also, you cannot speak to a human on the phone for support, you must chat via their website which takes three times as long to resolve issues since the agents don't pay attention. I'd have to repeat answers I already told them 2 times before. Really wish I could've stayed with them since they had the best price and features, but I need a reliable network and to be able to speak to agents as needed. In effort to escape the price games of Spectrum, I switched my phone from another prepaid carrier and left Spectrum for internet, bundling them with Visible. It was slow at times but worked for the first three months then it crashed. I have had service disruptions for a week and a half now and customer service has been useless. All they do is go through the same pre-written scripts and troubleshooting protocols, which have simply had me chasing my tail over and over all this time. The internet was so slow it barely functioned and they just had me power cycling the gateway every time I went back to them and they never told me to give it a factory reset. Google Gemini told me to do that and after a week, it returned to normal when I fixed what they never did or even advised. The mobile data speed returned pretty early on after a day or so but for six days now I haven't been able to make or receive calls. They told me when they created the ticket that the higher tier would get with me in three days and that never happened. Two days ago they told me they were working on it and would have the voice calling issue repaired in 24-48 hours and that has not come to pass either. Don't risk switching to Visible. read more

I would like to state UPS did not do their job and weight the box. Whoever distributed their products are thieves. I purchased a 17e iPhone about a month ago and although I have been with Visible for about 4/5 years I decided to switch my phone service to my TV provider to have it under one account however after paying for the transfer I was told that I have to stay with Visible 365 days in order for them to unlock my phone. I bought an Iphone 17 Pro Max that is financed through Affirm. It was shipped to me with instructions stating that I must sign for it, and that I could not pick it up at Fed Ex, not even with proof of I.D. False advertising, stating unlimited use. Was accused of spamming when I sent text messages to friends and family saying Happy Easter. Cut service off with no warning. Could not get anyone to fix the issues after 4 days of back and forth. Then finally someone got everything but the calling feature to work at which time they proceeded to charge me for service and send threatening email about a final warning. Took over a day and multiple chats with multiple "people", if they are even people, to finally get the calling going. The service is okay, but the billing system is really bad. It's set up on computer system, but ONLY works with 'automatic payment' being selected, and set up. I pay annually, so I get billed once a year. The fraud department at my credit card company declined the payment, with a high credit limit, and a $0 balance. Now, with no one actually at Visible to bill my card, now that the problem has been corrected, I have to wait upon their poorly managed system. My phone number was illegally ported out from At and t to Visible. I contacted both At and T where I held an account for 20 years and Visible by Verizon. Visible has not returned my number that I use for business and personal and it has been three days. You cannot reach anyone by phone. It is too easy for crooks to hijack your number but when you attempt to retrieve it back they put the legitimate owner through the ringer. If I could leave negative or zero stars I would. As one reviewer mentioned, the only "good" thing is the rate they offer, but everything else sucks. I planned to switch over to them January 2026 and ordered the SIM card, when I got to the activation part, it failed. I contacted their chat (only method of communicating with them) 6 times. Their support team tried to work on the problem and in the process cancelled my order. No one could fix the problem and every new agent kept getting worse and worse. Even their supervisor couldn't help, finally after hours I called my old provider, got cheaper service due to their promo (free service for a year!) and finally got mobile service back on my phone. Visible charged me the money for service and after 5 hours with their chat agents they still couldn't get me activated. After fighting the chatbot for 30 minutes, I finally got an email. The email stated that a case was opened. (What? Just close the account. It should take minutes.) I used to really like Visible, and what's not to appreciate about straightforward pricing as low as $25 per month. Until I had to deal (multiple times) with customer service. It is all done through text. If you think you have a simple issue, expect it to take at least 2 hours to resolve. Between agents not actually paying attention to what you wrote as the issue (they clearly scan the messages and see key phrases or words and assume), and thus, having to re-write and re-phrase multiple times, plus waiting for replies whilst they, presumably, multi-task with other customers, you'll waste a good chunk of your time and energy. Unfortunately, most cheap phone companies I've compared online w/re to customer service all have the same type of rating - very poor. I guess it's true that you "get what you pay for." I feel like Visible knows they're cheap and uses that to sit back and relax about not losing customers. It's total disrespect, as if us (assumed) "poor people" don't deserve the best.
