The salt and pepper crispy tofu is a standout with bold flavor and a satisfying crunch. The lemongrass tofu is well-seasoned and solid, and the mushroom-based chicken nuggets are honestly one of my favorite appetizers on the entire menu. The fried pancake rounds out the appetizer options nicely as well. On the rice dishes, there's plenty to love. My wife loves the shaking tofu fried rice and orders it every time we visit. The combo fried rice and shaking beef fried rice are both great choices, and the special pot rice is a comforting, satisfying option. The hardest part of dining here is choosing a favorite entrée. The grilled fish platter -- crafted from tofu and seaweed -- is a masterpiece. But it's in fierce competition with the fried chicken rice, made from mushrooms and exceptionally delicious in both flavor and texture. I genuinely can't pick just one. Whether you're a longtime vegan or simply someone who appreciates great food, Tuệ Tâm is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

This was such a random spot! I spend a lot of time in china town and never knew this was here and…read morethat it was mostly vegan. A couple things to note: 1. It is not 100% vegan. For some reason, they have 1 item (egg roll) that is not vegan. 2. Service is full service style without full service quality. Would be a better setup if we could order at the counter and sit down because that's pretty much the level of service we received anyway, so just keep that in mind going into it. 3. It was pricier than expected. We spent $50 on the items shown here. I wouldn't say I was pleased with what we spent vs what we received. Overall, the food was a mixed bag.. the soup didn't have a ton of flavor despite it being one of their most popular dishes. The 'snails' were really interesting and I enjoyed them. For $20 I wouldn't get them again but they were fun to try. The steak dish was definitely the highlight. It was so good that my non vegan boyfriend bet me $1 it was real steak. It wasn't. Overall, I think it's worth a try but it's unlikely I'll be back anytime soon. Maybe to pick up the steak dish. Beside that, Trendy Vegan offers really good Asian cuisine at a more reasonable price point.

I got their wagyu nigiri, which comes with two pieces, and their signature ramen. The signature ramen is well-balanced and is creamy. You can definitely tell that the noodles are hand-made. The noodles are curly and bouncy, and I really enjoy their texture. All the meats within the signature are tender and soft, melting in your mouth. The ramen here is a bit pricier than other locations, but I do believe the quality and freshness of the ramen really shows. The wagyu nigiri was good, but nothing special per se. The meat was quite thin and was a bit lackluster. The interior is quite small, which leads to some wait time. I recommend going earlier before they open to secure a spot and to avoid long wait times. Parking can also get crazy in the plaza during the weekends. Staff was quick and attentive. I definitely will be visiting more now that they are in Houston and look forward to trying their other ramen flavors!

So don't expect to impress for a romantic date night unless your date's really into aliens - then you should definitely take them there!! Mostly a chillaxed vibe up in here. We sat at the bar, and our mixologist was friendly and enjoyable to chat with. The drinks were crafted well. I opted for the Everglade Martini, and it was so refreshing!! I had two - let's be real! But the cocktail menu is vast, so there is something for everyone's taste buds. The food was really good too. That night, my friend and I opted for Fried Mushrooms, Kabob Gyro, and Classic Pepperoni Calzone. The mushrooms were awesome - fried perfectly, not greasy, and the Buffalo Sriracha dipping sauce was flavorful. Our meals were both great, too. Overall, a great night over some delicious vegan food!

They took 15min to bring it back and when they did, it was the half eaten sandwich, not a new one. The owner, who is in the kitchen cooking, never came out to address us, even though we sent 2 items backs. My experience in the past is usually good, which is why we drove 40min from downtown. Thank goodness the mushrooms were very good.

I glanced at the menu once and already knew what time it was: "10 hot buffalo wings, extra sauce... and add the spicy fries, please." Listen. We ate the wings and fries, saved a few wings for the next day, and somehow they were even better paired with a nice cold Dr. Pepper. That's how you know they're good. Came back again on Christmas Eve and ordered the same thing. Once again... great wings, spicy fries, Dr. Pepper on deck. I was fully satisfied. Now, a quick service note. When the guy (with the AirPod in his ear) brought out our food, we noticed we had regular fries. I asked, "Are these the spicy fries?" He took them back to the kitchen and added the necessary ingredients to make them spicy, which I appreciated. That said, both visits the service was okay, but it could use some improvement. Greeting customers when they walk in would go a long way, and calling out names when orders are ready instead of bringing food out and waiting for someone to look up for the "your food is ready" signal would definitely make things smoother. Food? Solid. Wings? Worth it. Service? Could be better.but I'll still be back.

It's a grocery store that has a hot food section with dining and ready to go prepared foods. They also sell banh mis but I heard they've changed a bit. They used to have a tofu and mushroom one that was so perfection. Big pieces of tofu and mushrooms marinated in this delicious sauce. Now I heard they use a tofu and mushroom loaf that is made in house. They also have noodle soups and Vietnamese dishes (com tam, vermicelli noodles, etc) but I go for the deli style lunch box. For $11.75 you get a choice of rice (I've seen brown and purple) or noodles (I always get the noods) plus 3 choices. And a small veggie soup. The lunch box options rotate, there are some items that they have more often. I always get their green beans and I try their various tofu options. Recently they had an eggplant stir fry and it was delicious. There is also an ala carte section that has dim sum items. I love their turnip cake (law bak go). One order comes with 3 pieces and a soy sauce and a chili oil ($5.50). The grocery store has expanded and sells pantry items (noodles, rice, sauces, snacks, etc) as well as fruits and veggies and frozen items (fake meat items). If you are a vegetarian or just need a break, def try this spot. You won't regret it.

Its super casual and has the restaurant portion for sit down dining and quite a bit of takeout/vegetarian ingredients. My partner and I came in a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. Staff were extremely kind and friendly. You order and pay at the cashier then sit at a table to wait for your orser. We got the vegetarian cold cut combo banh mi, the lo mein, and the rice rolls. Everything was full of flavor and we did not miss animal protein. The banh mi had a nice, crisp bread along with a good amount of veggies and vegetarian cold cuts. The lo mein was very flavorful and the mushrooms really stood out as a nice unami bomb. The veggies were well cooked too and maintained crispness. My favorite was the rice rolls, which had the perfect texture, velvety, slightly QQ, and had a great filling along with a nice sauce. The veggies that accompanied it were a great addition too. My partner and I ended up getting a couple of their ready made dishes to take home and they were only $8 each. They were also delicious (basil kidney and stuffed bitter melon). I think the food here is solid and still affordable. To me, its a great restaurant that puts out good food that also happens to be vegetarian. The older lady behind the counter that puts the Banh Mis and drinks together is the sweetest and friendliest. She's always so incredibly welcoming but it's a hit or miss with the guys at the counter. The menu consists of a lot of processed mock meat and dry mushrooms so my favorite dishes to oder are the Banh Mi Bi and Mi Xao noodle dish with tofu as these do not have mock meat in them. They have a wide variety of ready-to-eat, packaged hot foods and desserts on display for customers to grab and go. They also make a delicious, refreshing artichoke drink that isn't overly sweet. I definitely recommend giving them a try if you're vegan or simply just in the mood for vegan. Note: There's a discount for cash payment.
