So don't expect to impress for a romantic date night unless your date's really into aliens - then you should definitely take them there!! Mostly a chillaxed vibe up in here. We sat at the bar, and our mixologist was friendly and enjoyable to chat with. The drinks were crafted well. I opted for the Everglade Martini, and it was so refreshing!! I had two - let's be real! But the cocktail menu is vast, so there is something for everyone's taste buds. The food was really good too. That night, my friend and I opted for Fried Mushrooms, Kabob Gyro, and Classic Pepperoni Calzone. The mushrooms were awesome - fried perfectly, not greasy, and the Buffalo Sriracha dipping sauce was flavorful. Our meals were both great, too. Overall, a great night over some delicious vegan food!

They took 15min to bring it back and when they did, it was the half eaten sandwich, not a new one. Thank goodness the mushrooms were very good.

DEFINITELY A PRECIOUS GEM FOR VEGETARIAN FOOD!…read more First of all, I fall in love with the poetic name of the restaurant. Speaking of the name has already delivered calmness, stillness and clarity. In Houston, it's not easy to find an authentic vegetarian restaurant. So my friend and I decided to drive from Cypress to Water Drop Teahouse. Water Drop Teahouse is much like a small, quiet canteen located in a temple. You can park outside and walk in slowly. And enjoy the serenity of the garden. We came by lunch. The tables were almost occupied yet the ambiance was calm and quiet. The food we ordered was great, fresh. They tasted so good. Our favorite was the 6-item appetizer and we ended up ordered 2 big plates. Jadeite Fried Rice was very impressive to me. The tea was served in a very nice, inviting pot. We finished our lunch with 2 petite mochi desserts, filled with red bean and taro. The outer skin layer was soft and the fill-in was on point. ( The red bean was sweeter than the taro one, to my palate.) The service here was warm-welcoming. Helping us and serving the food were volunteers and they helped us with kindness and patience. My memory is still lingered with the arts of gentleness, not only in food but also the human connection I experienced here with the volunteers/helpers. I fall in love with Water Drop Teahouse. Best, Chloe

There's also dessert of coconut, fruit, and jelly (I ate so many bowls of it!). The staff were so sweet, and picked up our used plates fairly quickly. The pricing for the buffet is quite fair, at $16.50 per adult and $8.50 for kids under 4 feet. Hours are good, though there is a gap between 3pm and 6pm Mon-Thu, so keep that in mind. The salt and pepper crispy tofu is a standout with bold flavor and a satisfying crunch. The lemongrass tofu is well-seasoned and solid, and the mushroom-based chicken nuggets are honestly one of my favorite appetizers on the entire menu. The fried pancake rounds out the appetizer options nicely as well. On the rice dishes, there's plenty to love. My wife loves the shaking tofu fried rice and orders it every time we visit. The combo fried rice and shaking beef fried rice are both great choices, and the special pot rice is a comforting, satisfying option. The hardest part of dining here is choosing a favorite entrée. The grilled fish platter -- crafted from tofu and seaweed -- is a masterpiece. But it's in fierce competition with the fried chicken rice, made from mushrooms and exceptionally delicious in both flavor and texture. I genuinely can't pick just one. Whether you're a longtime vegan or simply someone who appreciates great food, Tuệ Tâm is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

For some reason, they have 1 item (egg roll) that is not vegan. 2. Service is full service style without full service quality. Would be a better setup if we could order at the counter and sit down because that's pretty much the level of service we received anyway, so just keep that in mind going into it. 3. It was pricier than expected. We spent $50 on the items shown here. I wouldn't say I was pleased with what we spent vs what we received. Overall, the food was a mixed bag.. the soup didn't have a ton of flavor despite it being one of their most popular dishes. The 'snails' were really interesting and I enjoyed them. For $20 I wouldn't get them again but they were fun to try. The steak dish was definitely the highlight. It was so good that my non vegan boyfriend bet me $1 it was real steak. It wasn't. Overall, I think it's worth a try but it's unlikely I'll be back anytime soon. Maybe to pick up the steak dish. Beside that, Trendy Vegan offers really good Asian cuisine at a more reasonable price point.
