Bombay Sandwich (Grilled/Regular) grilled
Merlyn M.

Came here for dinner with group of friends and kids to have some light hearted dinner! The service was fast and staff was very friendly and patient. The food - out of all the things we ordered the curries were our favorite! The flavors were spot on, creamy textures with the right amount of spice and seasonings, we really enjoyed it! The chaat items - I'm a Mumbaiker myself so I know my chaat and Bombay sandwich. The sandwich was good overall but it was a bit dry, I wish there were more chutney and sauces flowing through. Same with Vada pav - I wish it had more chutney and spice, again a bit dry. Raj Kachori and Dahi puri and pani puri was decent. I'd recommend their curries and other dishes over their chaat items.

This is my favorite Indian Restaurant in Sugar Land. The food is consistently good and the service is always friendly. Sometimes when we have guests, we order food from this place and it's a guarantee hit! Our go to order is: -Butter Chicken -Saag Paneer -Masala Dosa -Garlic Naan I like how they make the butter chicken because it's not too sweet - very well balanced! I wished they offered a buffet option because I would absolutely devour the entire tray and have no regrets afterwards. Interior is clean and quaintly designed. Focus is all on the food! Come give this place a try!

A Big Indian crowd gathering calls for a big eating and the place we picked was Bombay Delight because this place has chats, Indian sandwiches , roti curry, rice items, Lassi, desserts, and above all good reviews. We got many items but my favorites were Channa Batura and garlic naan. I always love their Bombay Sandwich but today it was very salty, .... some of the other items we ordered were : Paani Puri - pretty good Malai Khofta : ok ok Panner Tikka Masala : Great- as described by others Roti : good Mango Lassi : good Dahi puri : good Jamun : ok Grilled Cheese Sandwich: the kid we got it for loved it, but, it took the longest to arrive. There was a tablefull of food and nothing for him to eat... tough - really tough on us ....and ofcourse the kid too, especially as we had no answer as to why his cheese sandwich is not here yet when even Gobi Manchurian arrived- twice !!! With that one exception the service was good, all other items came in quick succession and they were also pretty prompt in clearing up the table to make more space for our food, I really appreciated that. Having over-eaten, we came out ready to go home and doze off. I do have one complaint, they should have atleast one sink outside. Its an Indian restaurant and using hands is expected. I went to the single ladies restroom thrice and it was still locked (I hope the person inside was doing fine). In total I waited 15 min, just to wash the grease off the khofta off my hands- then finally settled to wipe it off the tissue temporarily.... uhhh!

First time here, but most definitely will not be my last time visiting. Let me tell you...e v e r y thing was a taste explosion party in my mouth. Fresh, perfectly-seasoned every dish! Food came out fast, hot, and delish! I really wish I'd known about this place sooner. Needless to say, Bombay Delights is my new go to place when I have a taste for Indian food. It's on my regular rotation list for tasty wholesome flavorful meals!

The food was great! It was fresh, hot and the portions were healthy. The prices are reasonable and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The naan is amazing.

came here during my lunch break! Service was so quick and friendly. They made recommendations and answered all the questions I had. Helped us pick the perfect spice level. We had the butter chicken and samosas. Everything was so flavorful and yummy. The garlic naan was AWESOME. Had big portions so we took about half to-go for dinner. Definitely will be back! Very large menu can't wait to try more things.

Where do I begin? Not sure what was up with the lady at the counter.. she seemed a bit rude and had a bit of attitude. She kept asking "Why" whenever we asked for straws, silverware or to go boxes. I mean we are ordering all this food and asking for what we need, not try to loot your restaurant! The Bombay sandwich traditionally has small cheese sprinkled on top but this one barely has any and an overload of green chutney that made it very spicy. Malai kofta was decent although very less in quantity (3 pieces) for $14. Butter naan was stale and crunchy, not soft. Mango lassi also smelled and tasted strange as though it was not fresh. Sugar cane juice was good. We chose this place based on so many other positive reviews but were sorely disappointed.

Was in the area and decided to try this restaurant out on a pan. I ordered carry out: butter chicken (rice included), and cheese naan. Restaurant was small and clean on the inside, and the service I received when I went to pick up my order was more than adequate. The food is DELICIOUS, however, my gripe is the portion size for the price that you pay. I paid almost $20 for my order and honestly, I was still hungry afterwards. Would I eat here again? Probably, definitely not often as it's not the best value considering all the other options in the area. I would rather have a larger portion of chicken and purchase rice separately for a better value.

This location has a banquet hall as well as a large restaurant that looked like it had seating for over 200 people. I went with their goat chops, beef bihari boti, goat shinwari karahi and naan. Goat chops ($27 - 5 pieces) - This is their most famous dish, and was the best Pakistani BBQ spiced item I have ever tried! The goat chops were so tender, juicy and had such flavorful spices. I can't stop thinking about these! Beef bihari boti ($13 - 6 pieces) - This was another impressive dish, consisting of 6 tenderized boneless pieces of beef prepared in some bold spices which utilized papaya and yogurt. Goat shinwari karahi ($21) - While the karahi was good and flavorful, I don't feel this particular karahi was as bold and strong as regular karahis I have had elsewhere. This restaurant offers several types of karahi, and I should have gone with the standard karahi, but this was still good. Naan ($2) - This was extremely reasonably priced and the naan was pillowy soft. Overall I was impressed with the service here and the food. Aga's definitely lived up to the hype and I'm glad I got to try this Pakistani HALAL restaurant. This is a must visit for anyone visiting Houston!

Sandwiched between a department store and an ice creamery, it blends in a little too easily with the rest of the strip mall plaza and would be easy to glance over in any other scenario. Luckily for me (#1), I stumbled across their simple, but flavorful lunch buffet and haven't looked back since. The restaurant looks small from the outside and is most definitely a modest interior with very minimal decor (#2) and a handful of tables. The family running the place is incredibly friendly and does a good job of keeping the place clean, replenishing items on the buffet and labeling the items properly. Some immediate standouts included: a wonderfully sweet and addicting mango lassi, a silky yet delicate coconut korma fish curry, a strangely addicting garlic naan that paired nicely with their butter chicken, a nice crunchy kadhi pakora, along with some veggie friendly and delicious chana masala + malai methi paneer. The mixed appetizers were a blend of fried foods, which included a not-so-mini samosa(s) and a very crunchy aloo tikki. While I wasn't in love with the roti, vegetarian spring rolls, or the goat achari, I can tell they were only slightly less appealing due to how wonderful everything else was. I'd happily give these items another shot on a future. Finishing it all off with a delightfully sweet galub jamun made for a perfect ending to the meal. $15 is a solid price in 2025, but I really just appreciate that the food was simple, fresh, and abundant with a little pretension and lots of opportunity for solo dining. ___________ (#1) Trust me, I'm the real winner. We had the family garlic naan I forgot which karahi but the chicken breast with a cream based sauce, mango lassi, chole (chickpeas), lahori fish. It took me this long to go because I kept looking at their prices and couldn't justify, but don't be like me and let it scare you away. The portions are definitely more than enough for 2. They are not stingy with their portion size. Looks like their weekday lunch prices are pretty decent so I'm going to have to go back for that for sure. Pretty much everything we had was great. I will say next time I want to try a more traditional tomato based Karahi. Family size Naan was $10 it's probably like 3 regular naan super fluffy not dense so it's easy to eat. Chole was perfect great flavor all around chickpeas were soft. Mango lassi was good but I think it was too heavy for me so I may pass on it next time and leave more room for food. Not sure what kind of fish they use for the lahori fish but the flavors were great, I feel like it should come with fries and I wish it was another type of fish but otherwise on point. The Karahi was chicken breast, really good flavor if you are introducing someone to Pakistani food,it's cream based so it's milder but still has great flavor. My bill was around $87 and I definitely had leftovers. I suggest not going alone if you are getting off the regular menu and not weekday lunch.

The interior is really well done, the colors and design is very contemporary and tasteful. I guess it raised my bar on what to expect. It was really hot outside there's constantly excessive heat warning when you drive. Yogurt based drinks like lassi and buttermilk are kind of go to drinks at this time ( buttermilk more than lassi but I didn't see it on the menu) so we ordered lassi. In the starters section of the menu they have both Indian and Indo-chinese options and some new ones too. We got the beet corn patty chat and the Chilli Paneer. It took forever for the starters to come but when they did, it was hot and tasted great. The right crispy, the right spice, and got our hunger working. Then came the lassi- it was.. stale.. ya, that's the right word, we ordered four types and none were good. I will NoT recommend it. For main course we got jalapeño stuffed bullet naan, butter naan , roti and one North Indian thali. The sides we chose were Lasooni paneer and Veg Kolhapuri. Lovved the naans. They were fresh and soo yummy. My fav was the bullet naan. I went ahead with rice and dal from the thali as I had a sort of craving. Half way into the small bowl I developed uneasiness and that happens if there is too much soda in the food- which, am guessing m, there was. And I had hardly eaten 10 morsels. Not a good sign. For dessert, there was jamun that came with the thali and the manager also got us complimentary mango mousse, both were delicious. I would probably go again for their naans and starters.
