The flavor of the sauce on the butter chicken was pretty outstanding. Wasn't a fan of the chicken in the sauce it was kinda chewy and rubbery, the naan was great but $3.50 ish for naan seems kinda steep. The Ladoo looked great and I think I need it to get to room temp for the sugar crystals to dissolve a little but otherwise it was perfect. As dreadful as that may seem to some, it is s simply a result of successfully delivering delicious food. Every time I've eaten here I've always enjoyed my meal and had enough leftovers for an additional meal. My first time eating here I had the Aga's or Mixed Platter and regardless of which, it was great! Literally everything on the platter is well seasoned and it comes with so many different meats that I can't list them all, so you'll just have to try for yourself to see if you agree. The only asterisk I'll add is I don't like the meat consistency on the Chicken Bihari. It's not seasoned bad but the texture makes it a pass for me. I've also had the Chicken Platter a couple times and again simply delicious and flavor. Unfortunately it also had the Chicken Bihari on it. As you see I keep ordering platters here that have the Chicken Bihari on them and eating them up still. I really need to remember I don't like it to ask for extra Chicken Boti instead. I also had the Chicken Biryani and it again is really good. My only thing is I don't care for the nuts or seeds in the dish or the bones in the chicken pieces. The garlic naan bread is exactly what it's supposed to be, adding another element to an already delicious meal. It could be a tad more flavorful but even still it is good and cooked well. Anytime I've dined in I've had the Mango Lassi and enjoyed it. Most recent visit the person with me had the Sparkling Strawberry drink and they enjoyed it so I think I'll try it next time. This isn't right next to me so I don't think of it sometimes but each time I have it I'm reminded of what a disservice I'm doing to myself by not eating here more.

One of my biggest surprises in my recent adventures to Sugar Land was finding Naseeb, a seemingly…read moresmall and family owned Indian spot that has been around for many years. Sandwiched between a department store and an ice creamery, it blends in a little too easily with the rest of the strip mall plaza and would be easy to glance over in any other scenario. Luckily for me (#1), I stumbled across their simple, but flavorful lunch buffet and haven't looked back since. The restaurant looks small from the outside and is most definitely a modest interior with very minimal decor (#2) and a handful of tables. The family running the place is incredibly friendly and does a good job of keeping the place clean, replenishing items on the buffet and labeling the items properly. Some immediate standouts included: a wonderfully sweet and addicting mango lassi, a silky yet delicate coconut korma fish curry, a strangely addicting garlic naan that paired nicely with their butter chicken, a nice crunchy kadhi pakora, along with some veggie friendly and delicious chana masala + malai methi paneer. The mixed appetizers were a blend of fried foods, which included a not-so-mini samosa(s) and a very crunchy aloo tikki. While I wasn't in love with the roti, vegetarian spring rolls, or the goat achari, I can tell they were only slightly less appealing due to how wonderful everything else was. I'd happily give these items another shot on a future. Finishing it all off with a delightfully sweet galub jamun made for a perfect ending to the meal. $15 is a solid price in 2025, but I really just appreciate that the food was simple, fresh, and abundant with a little pretension and lots of opportunity for solo dining. ___________ (#1) Trust me, I'm the real winner. When we arrived, we were kept waiting for 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. As soon as we got home, the restaurant called to tell us they had given us someone else's order. Since exchanging it would have taken another hour, they offered to deliver our food instead. By the time it arrived, everything was cold. The naan was cold, the meat was dry, and the top layer of the pilau looked like it had been sitting uncovered for quite some time. I understand that mistakes happen, but this wasn't a small error--it completely spoiled a birthday dinner for family and friends.
