In one day, they ripped off the old shingles, replaced all the old plywood, and installed a beautiful new roof. They also did a great job cleaning up around the house. They were quick to respond a fix a portion that needed a little more care. They inspected one year later and called several times to make sure there were no issues. My father had received a quote for replacing a bay window from another company in town that he had hired before. That other company looked to take advantage of that and quoted my father a price of $10,000 to replace it. I got involved and looked for other options and was truly fortunate to find J&D Windows and Doors. First off, the price was a FRACTION of what the first company quoted, but more than that David really took in a genuine interest in discussing all the options with my father so that my father was comfortable knowing he was getting exactly what he wanted. The other company took a more cookie cutter approach and was more interested in seeing dollar signs than customer satisfaction.. Due to Covid, supply was interrupted so the new window couldn't be installed when initially scheduled. That had nothing to do with J&D but David still gave my father a discount due to the inconvenience. Completely unnecessary but most appreciated and just a classy move on his part. All told, the work to take out the old bay and put in the new took little more than a morning with a little finishing to be done the next day. However, I recently found myself looking for dimensional lumber (1x4) in the lengths of 10 and 12 feet. Home Depot and Lowe's do not typically carry wood this long, at least in pine (as opposed to exotic or hardwoods or composites) and in a quality grade (meaning, not cheap warped pine). I called here on a whim and they told me that they carried exactly what I was looking for. I drove over on a Saturday morning in the winter and went inside. They don't heat anything except the check-out area, and it was cold. But, they pointed out the area where I needed to look and helped me pick out some wood. It was about 50% more than the big box stores per foot, but the pine was warp and knot free and available in the lengths I needed. I purchased a bunch and they told me to drive my car into the building where they loaded it for me. It stuck out the back of my little Corolla but I made it home fine. Being a lumberyard, I doubt I will have much need to come here. However, they were helpful and priced right and carried what I needed (and couldn't find elsewhere). Just wear a coat!

I wanted to make sure the things we discussed were understood. The contract I spoke to him aboutr 4 times and two of those times he was to stop by and reevaluate what he did not include in contract. Bob constantly repeated you will be happy when i am done i will make you happy. Well Bob never showed twice to measure and put correct information on the contract. And twice that I was scheduled I was canceled and for his lawn mowing service took priority over $3800.00 worth of yard maintenance. He was rude and arrogant at the middle of may I was canceled again and still no information on contract. And he got very nasty by text message and told me he was not going to do the jobs. Personally Bob has one person on staff himself he told me he is a little man and I kept another service on call due to the fact he was so all over the place he is not professional or responsible . The only reason I attempted to get work done was price but I would rather pay a good landscaper than a fraud. BBB messed up on this one He can mow a lawn but anything else get a real landscaper. The man got belligerent with me by text told me to relax it will get done. Really guess what Bob It will but not by you. YOu can't even lift a rake without needing assistance. DON'T COUNT ON BOB he is a flake anyway someone on out of work for a back injury shouldn't be working as a landscaper he just can't cut it!

The found and fixed lots of strange things (a corner missing anything between the old siding and the drywall, a window that was insulated with an old bible and tin cans, and other craziness) and were professional and through despite the ineffective assistance of a half a dozen snakes and a bat colony. If my house looked this nice three years ago I never could have afforded it!! I'm downright excited to see how much my heat bills go down this winter. 7/5 stars, wholeheartedly recommend!!
