However, specific to Peak Motion, I was immediately impressed with how friendly, professional and attentive the front office staff was on the first visit. I was treated with the exact same enthusiasm at each successive visit. Inside the clinic, I was equally impressed with the intake procedure and the cleanliness of the facility. The staff's awareness and implementation of disinfection protocols made me feel safe. Every therapist and assistant that guided me through the various treatment routines seemed very knowledgable to me and they made sure that I performed each assigment properly. Finally, I could not help but notice how efficient the entire operation of the clinic and the administrative office was. The teamwork exhibited by all members of the team ensured a seamless process from the beginning to the end.

It's a group experience only…read more On the plus side, It's good if you just need to strengthen as they have a good gym and facility and put you through good workouts. So for certain types of situations they are a good place to go -- like a post rehab strengthening stint. On the down side if you have any complex injury management they are so distracted and constantly changing therapists -- and each therapist is managing multiple clients at time -- so they can't keep track of patients individual issues. In my case they missed that I had a serious fracture and so further injured me during the course of therapy. They kept pushing me to work harder despite me reporting pain to them. In general they are too distracted with multiple clients to take feedback well and tend to get defensive rather than correct mistakes. When I mentioned that I wanted to switch to another physical therapy center in a few weeks because of complex medical issues that required individual attention -- knee replacement, foot fracture, spinal fusion -- they retaliated by cancelling all my appointments. This left me -- a post knee replacement surgery rehab patient !!! -- completely in the lurch. I have heard from other medical facilities understand that this is a pattern with this facility and they commonly do this type of relalitation any time a patient wishes to transfer to other facilities. In short, highly negligent behavior as regards patients medical concerns and conditions. Avoid if you have complex medical conditions, are elderly or medically vulnerable in any way. Probably an o.k. place if you are young, strong and just looking to strengthen like a personal trainer type facility but certainly not a reputable place for physical therapy.

This came after months of escalating boundary violations. He preys on people he perceives as weak. In my case, I was in full-body recovery from injuries caused by childhood abuse. He assumed the toll it was taking on my body meant I wouldn't fight back. This is someone who is supposed to be a healer. Instead, he used his position as a doctor to exploit and retraumatize patients. It has taken me nearly four months to feel safe seeing a chiropractor again, which has absolutely hindered my healing process. Please think twice before bringing your daughters here.

I work out regularly and tried everything I knew to resolve the issues, but it had started to negatively affect my new job. From the first appointment, I could tell I was in the right hands. Ted assessed my body and found the reasons for my pain. We started treatment and exercises almost immediately and I felt marked improvement after every visit. After 8 weeks, my pain was completely gone and I'm still going the exercises I was given. I was released from the program but with an open door, I can always go back for a tune-up. I was seen for a hip impingement and possible labral tear - I've been dealing with this for years from dancing, and the pain finally got so bad that I couldn't even do everyday activities. I was already scheduled for hip surgery and decided to do physical therapy as a Hail Mary effort to relieve my pain, or at the very least strengthen the surrounding muscles and make surgery recovery easier. My doctor referred me to E6 specifically for dry needling as he said athletes respond to it very well. Ted spent time listening to my concerns, pain levels, and pain when doing different activities in order to understand the severity of the injury. When completing assessments to determine where we would dry needle each week, I was amazed to learn that the significant pain and tightness I felt with just a slight touch around my back, hips, and thighs was actually not normal! I had felt that way for YEARS, and figured everyone else felt the same way too! We had 5 dry needling sessions combined with physical therapy over a 12-week span, and in that time I went from not being able to walk, sit, or do other daily activities without pain to being virtually pain free. I could actually feel the improvements after each session. I now have full range of motion back in my hip, increased strength, and I was even able to cancel my hip surgery! The most exciting part for me is that I can finally dance again after 5-6 years of not being able to due to hip pain and instability. I can go on daily walks now as well - this may seem trivial to some, but for someone who couldn't walk more than 5 minutes without being in excruciating pain it's a miracle! I'm so thankful for the help and compassion that Ted and everyone at E6 showed during my treatment. At 30 years old the last thing I should be worrying about is hip surgery, and thanks to Ted and his team I'm now able to live the active lifestyle that I missed out on for so long due to my injury. My injury took a piece of my identity when I couldn't dance anymore, and it's been so emotionally and physically fulfilling to be able to do what I love again. I wouldn't go anywhere else for physical therapy or dry needling - E6 really is the best!

Waiting for a doctor's appointment (forever) was more than enough to time to strengthen the rest of my body for surgery and post-surgery recovery. I have completed 6 months of physical therapy and water aerobics at the Presbyterian HealthPlex (check it out), and I am feeling great. On January 12th, I will begin anew with Dr. Scott in order to work on strength and flexibility on land. I had heard amazing things about Dr. Zhao, so we drove 14 hours from Northern Utah for a consult. It was one of the best "health" decisions I've made in dealing with an auto-immune disease. This trip was well worth the time and cost for the new direction I have in dealing with Lupus. My daughter has cancer. After surgery and radiation, she decided enough with the poison and cutting. She came with me hoping for some understanding about her situation. She was able to get many of those answers. She is also surprised at the positive energy she has and the hope of gently removing the problem before another organ succumbs. What a blessing finding Dr. Zhao has been for our family. Dr. Zhao was thorough in his explanations and was patient in answering our questions. He did not rush us and he made sure that we had every opportunity to ask those questions.
