12/7/25. My brother Tyrone Shepherd bought a 2012 Audi SUV and traded a 2007 Mercedes Benz R Class, We bought the car in cash they said the engine was new a light came on. They stated that it was a sensor we bought back they took to an Exon Station, Brian at exon said it was some kind of pump that is the second time. Brian said it was so many problems he could not fix it. The dealership to it someone else. The problem gotten worse. We did buy it as is, but the fact they told us the engine was replace and new, I think they should give us our money back and take the car back because of what we were told. Angel the sales representative was very friendly and easy to work with. We found the vehicle I wanted and started the process. They (the short fat guy) started talking really fast and trying to be slick. I have more than decent credit and make more than enough money to afford it. My information comes back with you being approved but they want you to put down $2500. I said based on what? His entire conversation was bullcrap. I said listen guy I don't know who you think your talking to but I've purchased many cars since I've been an adult and I haven't ever put money down, why and for what? He still never answered the question. The next morning I go to my credit union and picked up a check. I purchased the vehicle at the price agreed upon without a down payment. I purchase the vehicle with a temp tag. Two weeks pass I call back to see the status of my tags and was told it was in the shoot to be sent out for my tags. A week later I call the DMV to inquire about my tags. They have nothing in their system for me. I call the dealership back and ask to speak to the title person and for some reason, this same (Fat Stubby) guy keeps getting on the phone trying to give me quick lies. So he tells week at week three, seven days before the temp tag expires that he needs me to come to that office and sign a document so that he can send it off to get my tag. Now the DMV is closed for the upcoming holidays and my tag will expire 5 days after. The initial conversation I had with them was about my registration. I said look I have a flight to catch but can pass through to see what I have to sign. He says he will be there at 8 my flight leaves at 10:30 it's now 8:37 a.m. and the fat stubby guy still isn't here. It's 9:15 a.m. so I leave. Although there isn't anything wrong with the vehicle the process and the lies is making me believe these people are crocks and not truthful. From the beginning, I didn't trust this fat stubby guy. All he does is apologizes even after he told me to be there I sat there for over an hour and a half. First time purchasing a car and having this much trouble. Before I purchased the car they called and called. After I purchased the car anyone I ask for isn't available or never in the office like I'm bugging them. I warn you to stay away from the place and I have got my HR/Legal team looking into ways to make this place off-limits to Military and Government employees. read more

These people are 100% LIARS, LIARS, CROOKS AND CON-MEN I bought a car here, LESS than a month ago and the problems ALREADY started. Yes, there was a warranty, when we called to talk about the problems the car was having they REFUSED to pay for it. At a certain point it wasn't even about paying for it. What bothered me is that they sold me a car KNOWING IT WAS UNSAFE, AND KNOWING THE BRAKE LINES COULD HAVE GONE OUT ON THE HIGHWAY. I didn't care about the $, I cared about MY KIDS SAFETY. We had a guardian angel looking after us, because thank above my kids were not hurt when the brake system failed. Called them and got, "well you bought the car as is..." I understand that... but what I don't understand is: WHY YOU LOOKED ME IN THE EYE AND SAID THIS WAS A SAFE VEHICLE. WILL BE REPORTING TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU! WILL BE HAVING FAMILY MEMBERS WRITE TERRIBLE REVIEWS AND WILL NEVER RETURN HERE! UPDATE: called the manager who took ZERO responsibility for the OTHER cars on their lot which were given a FAULTY SAFETY INSPECTION. Said he would NOT pull those cars from the lot! They blamed it on the inspection company, then he blamed doctors for making mistakes in hospitals, which is how I know HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND! The company who does the inspections does not exist. DO NOT SHOP HERE DO NOT SHOP HERE DO NOT SHOP HERE DO NOT SHOP HERE DO NOT SHOP HERE HORRIBLE ETHICS HORRIBLE WORKERS HORRIBLE CARS my boyfriend had bought a car (his first car) here in december. this office has been rude and misleading from the jump. before i even get into the issues that this car has, two days after he bought it the check engine light came on. he waited some time to tell them due to personal reasons, a month later when he let them know because the light needed to be addressed before he could pass dc emissions test, they told him it was nothing and to bring it to them to have the light turned off. his cars key battery was not working, a sensor was knocked in the car, the ac doesnt get cold, and the seat heating in the drivers side didnt work AND he didnt have a door handle piece. he brought the piece to their attention and he has been spun back and fourth with the dealership, just for them to end up ordering it. but ordering the wrong one. after this they said theyll order the right piece and get back to us. never did, matter of fact we tried to contact them MULTIPLE times with no response. it wasnt until last week my boyfriend found out hes having problems with the catalytic. if you know that is a VERY expensive problem and doesnt come from a few months of driving. still okay cool. we'll pay for it. but today he got the car fully looked at and has 30+ engine codes flashing with problems. we called to speak to the general manager today through phone and he had disappointed me to say the least. he was very childish and dodged EVERY. SINGLE. SERIOUS. QUESTION. provided. sad to say that there are people still doing bad business especially to people who are first time buyers. shame on EVERYBODY who works for virginia auto traders. karma is a bitch and surely will be dealt with. this is upsetting and disgusting of this company.. if you love your wallet and dont want to have another expensive stressful additive to this world DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR FROM VIRGINIA AUTO TRADER. read more

Put my families life IN DANGER! Sold us a car that they said was "a great car no issues" but then all of a sudden we had to wait over a month AFTER we signed the contract because the car was at the repair shop. Finally picked up the car and brought it home to my excited wife, but that excitement quickly ended when we started heard loud creaking and scrapping sounds from the rear passenger side wheel. Then the large puddles of brake fluid on the drive way. I called them to explain what was going and was basically told to F off, they have my money and we signed a contract so it's our problem now. I took it to a mechanic (shout out to Premier Auto LLC in Springfield) and he quickly noticed that the brake lines were completely rusted out and blown out in one area and the ABS sensor was digging into the rim (the scratching and scrapping sound). We drove this car on the busy highway with out kids!!! I asked the dealership how a car with this HUGE safety issue could pass a VA safety inspection?? And was told they don't know, they don't care, and they'll continue to use them... would even provide the name of the place that passed the vehicle. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! If anyone knows how I can report this to the Better Business Bureau or the state of Virginia, please let me know. read more

I had an idea of what i wanted by looking at their listing of cars online, and Angel offered to show me the other cars they had, incase i was intetested in a different year model of the same car. I was happy with the Honda Pilot I purchased, and how well it was detailed. Their manager was also very friendly, and my overall experience was good. When my husband and I were at the dealership they were helpful friendly, attentive, assured us we were getting a "GREAT TRUCK". Oh and the truck we purchased actually worked at the time. Less than an hour after buying the truck we parked it and it wouldn't crank, plus the engine check light came on. We contacted the sales person there who initially sold vehicle to us. He offered to have us bring it in and have the vehicle checked. We went the next day after charging the battery and dropped it off. He told us it would be back in our hands in a matter of days. A month and one car payment later we got the truck back just for the truck to have the same issue, check engine and all; all of this within the hour of having it in our hands. Again, very frustrated we contacted the sales person and he told us there was nothing they could do about it. This truck cost over 12,000 dollars and that is the help we got. We have since taken to the truck to Ford and have been told that the initial repairs alone would be over $5,000 and not to even bother trying to fix the truck. We also tried to get it fixed with the 3 month warranty from this "dealership". They don't cover anything. If you are looking for a good reliable car and real business with morals PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! Save yourself the headache and trouble. I will be submitting a claim with the Better Business Bureau, no one deserves to be scammed by these people. read more

I purchased a BMW from here in January. Initially I had a really positive experience and purchased the car at a good price. During the test drive a black plastic front shield under the front bumper fell off, however, we were given a verbal promise and an "We Owe" document upon purchase indicating they would repair this. A month and a half later we are having to constantly call to follow up on the matter receiving a variety of excuses blaming BMW for sending the wrong part and their repair man for not being available to prevent us from being able to schedule a repair appointment. Now they are asking us to cover half the cost of the repair indicating it was our fault the part fell off despite taking the test drive route they guided us through and following speed and safety laws. Bottom line they are in breach of their own "We Owe" contract. If not resolved soon we will be forced to escalate the issue. read more

Jafar had such high quality cars. Nowadays individuals are not selling their cars directly anymore, so supply was limited. I would not hesitate a second to buy another car from them.
